Hotels met ontbijt in Yunlong County

"Such a wonderful, peaceful stay, with the most friendly and helpful English speaking hosts! Kindhearted owner Liuting (Eva) cooked us very tasty vegetarian meals, and her partner Dima gave us some lovely travel recommendations in the region. Liutings brother and sister were also very sweet. Nuodeng is the perfect combination of nature (nice walks in and around the village) and culture (old temples, beautiful old houses and stairs- it's smart to bring a backpack instead of suitcase). Also very suitable to work away from home for a few days: strong wifi and plenty of little work spaces up and downstairs in the property, with the most beautiful views over the valley. The cute animal companions made our stay complete: I loved the cat cuddles, and dog Xiaohua even joined us on multiple walks. On our departure day, Liuting helped us so much with organising a shared taxi too. And on top of everything: the food and stay was so affordable, great value for money. We hope to come back one day!"

"We stayed for two nights as a family of three and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Nuodeng. We’ll definitely be back! The Guesthouse The guesthouse is run by a lovely local Bai family—everyone pitches in, and all were warm and welcoming. The young lady managing the place was a fantastic host, always attentive and happy to accommodate our needs. Grandma was just as friendly! Our three-year-old had a great time playing with their toddler, some neighbourhood kids, and other guests in the spacious twin courtyards. The whole property is tastefully decorated—traditional charm with a modern twist. The Rooms We stayed in one of the older family rooms, set slightly apart in a quieter courtyard. It was clean and peaceful. The newer rooms near the main courtyard are brighter and more contemporary—some even offer sweeping views down the mountainside. The Food The on-site restaurant is excellent and arguably the best value in Nuodeng. Breakfast noodles were delicious, and many dishes featured Nuodeng’s signature cured ham. The cooks were happy to adapt dishes to suit different tastes—less salt for our child, vegetarian options, and more. Surprisingly good espresso, too, at very reasonable prices. Nuodeng Village Perfect for travellers who enjoy slow, exploratory travel. There aren’t many must-see landmarks, but there’s a short scenic hike to an old temple, meandering stone stairways, village animals (great for kids), and a handful of cafés and restaurants. Adventurous hikers can set off on local trails and see where they lead!

"We had such a wonderful time! We felt like with family. Reading on the very nice terrace surrounded by flowers and with a beautiful view, playing with Brian (their son), resting in the beautiful room, walking in the village, going to the market with them and sharing their meals. Thank you so much for everything! Highly recommend for an escape from the busy life :-)"

"The owner is very knowledgeable about her village and the place is a living history by itself. She put an admirable effort in making this place impeccable. My stay was very joyful and relaxing, the food was good, the room was clean. I have nothing to complain about."
