Vinnie's Family Hotel

we were a party of 5 in blackpool for a birthday weekend ,the check in was quick after filling out a form room 3 was allocated to my partner which was up 1 flight of stairs the room was in fact a family room containing a double bed plus another room with 2 sets of bunk beds ,tea/coffee bath/shower ,electric fan controlled by remote and tv ,so the room was fine,cannot speak for other 2 rooms ,only that 1 room was up about 4 or 5 flights of stairs which was not ideal if you have walking issues,there are no lifts to ease this issue, the bar and lounge was not open so maybe its a summer thing only,hardly saw the owners during our 2 night stay which was not a problem,i would stay here again but would request a room that did not involve too many flights of stairs

We had a lovely stay over the new year the couple who own it was lovely .The room was lovely and clean and bed was really comfy and was very spacious had a beautiful view of sea even with rain. We was there nye and was quiet which is great when you have a child sleeping. Weve stayed at a few places in blackpool and this is definitely the best Looking forward to coming back

Upon arrival we were met by a lady who wasn’t very welcoming. She basically gave us our keys and said put them in this box when you leave and we didn’t see her again. For the whole weekend we never seen anyone who worked there and nobody seen us out when we left to ask if we had a nice stay. It would have been nice to have a friendly face now and again. We went up the stairs to our room which had tape over the large holes in the carpet and was very scraggly and fuzzy on the sides where it met the wall. It was very worn (but again we know that it states online that the hotel is being refurbished, however had seen no signs of anything new whilst there). We walked into our room which was small (understand that you cannot change the size of the room) and basic but was ok for the amount of time we spent in there. Upon arrival into the room it smelt very unpleasant, a dog like smell. Despite this we didn’t complain as we understand it is a dog friendly hotel, however would be an idea to provide air fresheners and air the room out after each guest to prevent these smells. Apart from the dog like smell on arrival, the room was clean. The hotel is in an ideal location on the front and was in walking distance to the main attractions which is good especially for people who don’ want to or cannot walk very far. The main let down for us was that it wasn’t very welcoming. Having friendly staff around who are happy to help you and want to make your stay as lovely and relaxing as it can be, really makes a hotel.

Amazing little family run hotel , surprisingly nice for the price we paid, £35 a night , host was lovely and very helpful , very clean and cozy , quiet location , not far from local attractions, handy that the tram stopped right outside , will definitely recommend and return

We stayed here as a family of 3 Adults and 5 children, we didn’t pre book as we had currently booked another hotel which turned out to be absolutely shocking, The host was so friendly and accommodating, finding us two lovely last minute family rooms, we asked to see the rooms before we paid, this wasn’t a problem at all and the host showed us the rooms where we would be staying. the rooms were perfect, a good size, modern and extremely clean with crisp white bedding, had all tea and coffee making facilities, and also a large flat screen on the wall that had free view, bathroom spotless with towels and shower gel, and the beds were lovely and comfortable. Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, in Blackpool, it’s right on the sea front quite close to central pier so it’s the perfect location, we also had a lovely sea view from our room which was lovely to wake up to. The first room had a bunk bed, a single bed and another add on room with a double bed in, the second room had a double bed, plus a double and single bunk bed. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely go back and recommend to friends, it also has free Wi-Fi. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Great accommodation! Amazing views from our room, one of the most comfortable beds we slept in for while! Great value for what we paid and so central for everything. I’d recommend parking up towards north pier for the weekend as you can drop stuff off at hotel

We stayed here from Sunday till Wednesday this week and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. My husband called the hotel before we booked it and explained to the man that answered the phone that I had rheumatoid arthritis and although I could manage one set of steps that would be the limit , true to his word our room was on the first floor but what he didn’t say was there were about 16 steps to it outside. Of course we read the reviews on here which said the hotel has a bar and lounge but no they didn’t have that either. On arrival after paying our money in cash we were told where to leave our keys on the Wednesday and that was the end of their hosting skills we never seen anyone again , we’re never asked if everything was okay, they left enough toilet roll and towels that you didn’t have to bother them we would have been better in an apartment. We won’t ever return the bed is brick hard as are the pillows I would honestly think twice before booking or staying here .

Can’t complain our room was fine couldn’t complain, the rooms are getting refurbished but we had an old room. All happy, & friendly owners. This was a great location, also my first time visiting Blackpool,Thanks again Vinnies, also pet friendly.

Lots of stairs, I would ask this before booking! Room was basic and fine for one person. Pillows terrible, bed was fine. Only saw the owner when I arrived to pay. Great area and I did have a lovely view. Struggled with luggage going up and down stairs.
