being on the "Trans" spectrum and presenting as a Cross Dresser one feels quite isolated and judged by society.. Blackpool however and in particular the MG is wonderful. You can be whoever you want without frowns , Looks or comments. I stayed with my freind i think fo rthe third time, staff were all great,, regulars all freindly and fun. Room was not one we had stayed in before as the extention had remodled a bit ( which looked good) . it was a fleeting visit. the townj was quite quiet supprisingly but they said the previous weekend had been the busiest ever. breakfast was spot on and set me up for the day. will be back soon and try to make it a regular not sporadic occurance

It seems that Mardi Gras has now become somewhat of a Blackpool institution, and I mean that in the best sense possible sense lol. Always made welcome; the staff treat everyone like they’re special no matter how busy it is. And that is very very rare these days. Lovely meals have often been available at the bar in the past; but now I think they’re available most of the time the bars open. Thanks to Lindsay (hope I’ve spelled it right) . I knew of Lindsey before she worked here, and she is a fantastic new asset to Mardi Gras. And I mustn’t forget Donna grafting in the background as usual.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel like a member of the family, super friendly staff, great bar and entertainment also ridiculously cheap drinks. We had a premier room which was lovely, although if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to ask for one that isn’t over the bar!

A lovely welcoming hotel which made a great trip. Donna and John couldn’t be friendlier and more helpful. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. A really friendly service at the bar too. I’m very happy to recommend. I’d definitely return for another visit when I’m in the North West.

Since coming here thought I would not fit in with the”older People that go there” venue people painted. This is not true it’s a mixture of ages very well ran and staff are excellent. Made many friends and hopefully more to come over the years ❤️ The owner john is incredible and what he does for the community is underrated and should deffo be given more credit ❤️

Had a great time here. The owners and the staff were very nice. The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable. Reasonable price too. The breakfast was really nice, and the alcohol prices were very reasonable. Everything else was nice and close by. Will definately be coming again soon.

Best night out in Blackpool the cabaret was top notch will definitely go back always have a good night when I visit this venue it's a great venue and just down the street will always go back enjoy myself weather I'm alone or with friends

Been here before but come again and can see it has had a major refurb, with a bigger bar and an extra lounge added. Really looks good, still has the great staff and the breakfasts are still worth it. Easy to deal with.
