During the summer they change the park to a downhill cycling track.There are several supermarkets a short drive down the mountain. Kiwi Vingnes is the closest and will take you seven minutes. Strandtorget is a shopping mall and is located ten minutes away.The top of Lillyhammer offers accommodation with mountain views, free wifi and free private parking. Maihaugen which is Norways biggest outdoor museum is only 7,6km away! Hunderfossen family park is 18 km away.The Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Undset's house has turned to a museum and is 7.9 km from the property. Norwegian Post Museum is a distance of 7.6 km. The nearest airport is Oslo airport and is one hour and fourty minutes from the property and we offer a paid airport shuttle service.We recently got a cat. He stays mostly inside because he is still young.You should have chains for your cars tires or a 4x4 car for the last part to get up to the villa during winter timesWe offer free Wifi during your stay!

Came with no expectations, but the hostel delivered good quality for money - and the view from Hovdetun was super. There was tennis courts and a nice outdoor pond to bath in with lots of opportunities for families. The breakfast was, even though it was way smaller than you get at a hotel, the best on our summer journey. Homemade scrambled eggs topped it - and possibilities to get exactly what you want at any time. The rooms though was a little bit disappointing. Lived in a small cabin, with limited possibilities for fresh air, and a bathroom that needed refurbishing. The receptionist when we came were polite and nice, and gave us a great end to our trip to Gjøvik!
