"The hotel is located right in the city center at the marketplace, making it a very nice location to explore the town of Heppenheim on foot. However, it is a bit complicated to find the route to the hotel's parking lot using the navigation system. There are actually several ways that lead to the marketplace. The best way can be inquired at the hotel. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the city center/shopping street. Many restaurants in the area are also within walking distance. The hotel is a typical half-timbered house from the historical times of Germany, like the entire city center of Heppenheim. The rooms are not very large, but they are clean. Various toiletries should be packed in your suitcase, as it is common in such hotels in Germany not to offer such items. The hotel is quiet and comfortable due to its location. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking in the hotel’s own parking lot is free, but it is small and has a limited number of spaces. The breakfast leaves something to be desired. There is a small buffet that has everything you need for breakfast. Foreigners may find it a bit more difficult here, as the buffet does not offer an international breakfast. However, the staff asks how you would like your eggs for breakfast. They are also happy to prepare scrambled eggs. The hotel also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a good meal in the evening or just have a drink. All in all, we can say that this is a recommendable small hotel in the heart of Heppenheim. Quiet location, good breakfast, good service, and a great location to explore the city on foot. Larger supermarkets can be found in the area by car. We had a pleasant stay and would come back anytime."

"Wij (paar) waren van 20 tot 26 december 2024 met mijn zus in dit hotel en woonden 1 tweepersoonskamer en 1 eenpersoonskamer direct tegenover. De kamers zijn zeer ruime en voldoende uitgerust. Omdat we een kleine hondje hebben (Chihuahua), was dit hotel vanaf het begin in de nauwkeurige keuze, want de exploitanten hebben zelf een Chihuahua (Tyson) en een grotere mengsel (Buddy), die zich zeer goed vertrouwd met onze Paula. Tyson was net verliefd op Paula en Buddy was zo blij als we de receptie overgingen. Het ontbijt met zelfgebakeerde verse broodjes en geweldig brood, een worst- en kaasplat, gebakken en gekoeld eieren, meerdere marmelade, musli, fruit en verschillende groenten heeft ons elke ochtend zeer goed geproefd en ons voor de dag Het diner (halfpension) was even rijk met grote porties en bestond elk uit een prachtig warme soep, een hoofdgericht (voorkeur met vlees of vegetarisch) en een dessert. We waren elke avond zeer tevreden. De kamers zijn – zoals gezegd – zeer ruime met voldoende ruimte in kluisjes en veel opstelling in de badkamer. Ze zijn in de jaren gekomen wat betreft de inrichting (je zou kunnen zeggen “retro”) met een mooi uitzicht op de omgeving. Eigenaars vertelden ons dat de appartementen en kamers geleidelijk moeten worden gemoderniseerd. Televisie met een aantal Sky-senders, internet en gratis WiFi laten onze wensen niet open. We hebben hier uitstekend geslapen en voelen ons goed en zullen terugkomen als het onze gezondheid toelaat."
