"Bleef voor 2 nachten; Overschat, te duur, onvriendelijk personeel (alleen vriendelijk tegenover blanke mensen), geen warm water, vreselijk ontbijtbuffet en eetzaal vol vliegen en mieren en het eten is koud. De hotelkamer heeft een grote opknapbeurt nodig omdat de kamer en het toilet gevuld zijn met griezelige beestjes. Zeer teleurgesteld wanneer een 4-sterrenhotel op een vreselijke manier functioneert. Voor die prijs verwacht je iets fatsoenlijks, maar in plaats daarvan krijg je een nachtmerrie. Voor een beter hotel kun je iets lager betalen."

"Good day everyone. I will never forget my stay at this dump; you can't call it anything else. Firstly, the bedding was dirty and stained. The 'towels' were two filthy rags, about 15x20 cm. Secondly, the windows in the rooms face the common corridor, not outside. Thirdly, the soundproofing is so bad that if someone uses the toilet anywhere, the entire hotel hears it. Now, about the service. We arrived at midnight, were given keys, and told, 'You can only have halal drinks and food here.' What they meant, I don't know, but I really wanted to leave. However, we were exhausted from our journey, and the money had already been paid. We asked the reception for help with a taxi, and they replied, 'There's a bus stop over there,' and told us to find a taxi ourselves. In conclusion, NEVER stay there."

"Zeer dicht bij Mikie Funland. Politiepersoneel. Prachtige kamer met kleine stoelen en koffietafel, ruime badkamer. Geen geluidsbestendig. Deze waren aanvaardbaar sinds het een budget hotel. Maar vergeleken met Parapat RedDoorz, deze kamer had kleine oude handdoeken. Geen water, geen bladeren waren zo schoon, een vreemde geur maakte mijn vriend bijna overgeven, ze moest parfum sprayen om de geur te overwinnen, de vloeren waren niet goed gebogen en mompeld, we vonden haar overal en geen rubberen vat."

"The owners are friendly and helpful. Although there's no reception, it feels like staying at home, with no strict rules, making you feel very free. One morning, I mentioned I needed to eat something because I was hungry. The owner kindly cooked mee goreng free of charge. However, the hot water wasn't working very well. Adi was very friendly and provided a detailed explanation of how to climb Mount Sibayak, including important points to consider. He also helped me repair my rented motorbike. Big thanks to the owner!"
