I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room at Welcome Family Guest House for two nights. It was impeccably clean - truly, completely spotless and there was no fault to find anywhere! The Guest House is located right behind Bentota station, and is perhaps a 6 minute walk to the beach, and to the main road. So it really doesn't get any better than this, especially for the price. But if I had to choose one reason why you absolutely must stay here - it is the incredibly warm Sri Lankan couple and their sons whom you live with. On the first night, I told them I was vegetarian, so the host came with me to the neighbouring restaurant to ask them to cook something especially for me. They also arrange mangrove safaris, and provide amaaaazing Sri Lankan breakfas every morning. The spread is quite vast and I actually had to ask them to cut back on the servings as it was a little too much for me (not often that you find yourself being over-served food in a guest house!) I was also a solo female traveller and felt completely safe here. Please go!

Accueil très sympathique des propriétaires de cette belle maison à Bentota. Famille très agréable et serviable, nous avons beaucoup échangé avec le propriétaire, c’était très agréable. Nous avons séjourné dans une grande chambre, très au calme, avec très bonne literie. Salle de bain moderne et neuve, extrêmement propre.Le petit déjeuner sri lankais est absolument parfait, avec produits frais, jus de fruits différents tous les jours. Belle découverte, A deux pas de la gare et de la plage, les restaurants sont aussi très proches .

Гостевой дом расположен недалеко от железнодорожной платформы. С неё есть спуск к нему, после спуска пройти 2 дома и будет калитка с надписью заведения. Если она закрыта, можно ее открыть самим. Из самых больших плюсов- это гостеприимство хозяев. Очень доброжелательные и радушные люди, помогают во всех вопросах. Тихое место, во дворе растёт манговое дерево и много трав, алоэ. В номере есть холодильник, шкаф, комод. В номере чисто. Три розетки. Завтраки яичница или омлет, фрукты, чай или кофе. Пляж недалеко -минуты 3 медленным шагом. Если ищете гостевой дом- то welcome family guest house - хороший выбор!
