"On the way to Melbourne. An overnight stay. Cabin was decently cleaned. However oven was dirty. Gas ignition was not working properly. Need gas lighter to turn on the gas cooktop and gas oven. Location was pretty central to everything."

"If you're travelling and stopping in Benalla then this place is a little gem of a find. The room was perfectly fitted out, super clean and cosy, the bed was amazing and all linen high quality. For me as a business traveller the best things was it was quiet (lovely old tree-lined street) and the room was dark overnight (no street lights contamination) for an uninterrupted sound sleep. Magic!! In addition there was a lovely little continental breakfast available with crumpets, cereals and coffee. Ray was the consummate host, available promptly when required and he did me a massive favour while I was there without a blink. Thank you Ray for a fantastic stay, I'd had a rough couple of days so it was a little oasis for the night. I will be recommending my employer makes you our new Benalla favourite!"

"We stayed here overnight for a friend’s funeral. First I will say the cleaning staff are amazing so helpful and very polite. Breakfast- hmm state they have when asked was told “ sorry we don’t do that anymore, McDonald’s across the road.” This should be deleted from information book. Shower base please becareful as some tiles are lose and there is creaks in wall. Overall room was clean and tidy hardly heard any traffic."
