Karin made us feel like long-lost relatives, greeted us with incredidlbe warmth and proceded to meet our every need with energy, humor and charm. Our rooms (we were four) were gorgeous, clean, welcoming and big! The yummy breakfast, the property, the location, the warm (yep) chocolate chip cookies, the gorgeous linens. Reserve and congratulate yourself, you will simply love this place!"

"Four couples drove to the Woodlands restaurant for dinner. This is a 90 minute trip. The entree list was very limited and priced above many other similar places. Our food was okay but certainly not outstanding, and one of our party had to wait fifteen minutes for his food after everyone else was served. He was comped a dessert. My $30 fish & chips was mostly batter, I had to hunt for the grouper, fries were good, as was the complementary bread. My wife's pasta was below average and salad nothing special. Her wine was all right but overpriced. 20% is added to every bill regardless of the size of the party. Overall a disappointing evening food wise."
