One of 3 hotels in Vigan that was recommended by family members, this was the only one that had availability. So we hoped/prayed it would be decent. Upon arrival, we were disappointed with its distance in proximity to the town center. Its grounds and curb appeal did not resemble its online appearance. We received a warm and friendly greeting and had much needed help with our bags as there were no elevators. Our standard double was very small; we moved to another room because the a/c was not very good. Our 2nd room a/c was very good, but had a musty smell. There are no in-room safes, refrigerator or ice machines. They prolly need to do a room inspection before releasing room because I had to call down for TP & towels. You should upgrade to include wash cloths, bedside lamps that works, a better wall mirror and bathroom fixtures that are not rusty. My kid's first standard twin room was unacceptable because it was dirty and had no toilet seat. They were moved to a standard triple, but I requested another move because we needed stronger WiFi for remote work. Their third room, the following day, was much better. There is a restaurant on site that is limited in menu options and availability. We appreciated the filtered water cooler availability. Overall, the staff was patient, kind and very accommodating. They did try very hard to make sure we were comfortable and addressed our concerns. Shout out to Rush, who is awesome and the reason I increased my review from 1 to 3 stars It is because of Rush and the staff that I do recommend Hotel Metro Vigan to anyone who can overlook my concerns that I mentioned and doesn't require a safe, and/or additional hotel amenities.

Very accessible. The staff are very friendly and 5 star for value of money. The hotel is just in front of Plaza Salcedo. The famous Calle Crisologo is just a few meters away. The hotel room is spacious with complete set of toiletries provided.

Overall experience is very good with a few suggestions for improvement. The room rate is relatively lower. The facilities are new - freshly painted walls, spotless room, newly built restroom, cool aircon, and free parking. The staff are very friendly as well. The hotel location is still near Calle Crisologo and Plaza Burgos, less than 10 minutes walk. There is a tight road going there and after the short bridge, the vicinity becomes residential and dimly lit at night. The hotel seems newly built and still lacks a few necessities in the family room: bidet, shower heater, shower partition/curtain. The wifi signal is strong in the hallways (at room 12) but very weak inside the room. Overall, the hotel has a strong potential to be a perfect alternative to established hotels in Vigan if they can improve further.

Very nice and Impressive hotel, strategic location with good car parking space. Center of everything such as food, tourist spot, watson, photo taking, food, souvenir and many more. Staff is friendly and caring, smile all the time and very accomodating. Smoker like me is happy as there is smoking area very near to the room (request room 206 then you would understand what I mean for smoker). Very nice and Impressive hotel, strategic location with good car parking space. Center of everything such as food, tourist spot, watson, photo taking, food, souvenir and many more. Staff is friendly and caring, smile all the time and very accomodating. Smoker like me is happy as there is smoking area very near to the room (request room 206 then you would understand what I mean for smoker). One of 3 hotels in Vigan that was recommended by family members, this was the only one that had availability. So we hoped/prayed it would be decent. Upon arrival, we were disappointed with its distance in proximity to the town center. Its grounds and curb appeal did not resemble its online appearance. We received a warm and friendly greeting and had much needed help with our bags as there were no elevators. Our standard double was very small; we moved to another room because the a/c was not very good. Our 2nd room a/c was very good, but had a musty smell. There are no in-room safes, refrigerator or ice machines. They prolly need to do a room inspection before releasing room because I had to call down for TP & towels. You should upgrade to include wash cloths, bedside lamps that works, a better wall mirror and bathroom fixtures that are not rusty. My kid's first standard twin room was unacceptable because it was dirty and had no toilet seat. They were moved to a standard triple, but I requested another move because we needed stronger WiFi for remote work. Their third room, the following day, was much better. There is a restaurant on site that is limited in menu options and availability. We appreciated the filtered water cooler availability. Overall, the staff was patient, kind and very accommodating. They did try very hard to make sure we were comfortable and addressed our concerns. Shout out to Rush, who is awesome and the reason I increased my review from 1 to 3 stars It is because of Rush and the staff that I do recommend Hotel Metro Vigan to anyone who can overlook my concerns that I mentioned and doesn't require a safe, and/or additional hotel amenities.
