"I travelled to this hotel as a solo female traveller to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Before arriving, I called the reception for directions and explained that due to Nairobi traffic I might arrive after the stated 10:00 p.m. dining closing time. I politely asked if they could keep some food for me. The receptionist was dismissive, repeatedly hung up the phone during our conversation, and only agreed after I had to repeatedly plead with him. When I finally arrived, I discovered that the dining area was actually still open and continued operating well past 10:00 p.m. This made it clear that my request could easily have been accommodated and left me feeling genuinely unwelcome. The first thing the receptionist asked for upon my arrival was payment, without so much as a welcome or any acknowledgment that I had just completed a long journey. As a solo female traveller, I felt I was treated differently and did not feel valued as a guest. I had also informed the hotel in advance about my food allergies, but these were not taken into consideration, which was both disappointing and concerning. On a positive note, the hotel itself is beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and the receptionist who took over later the next day was professional, welcoming, and courteous. Sadly, the poor customer service at the start of my stay overshadowed what was meant to be a special birthday celebration. I would not return based on this experience. I hope the management invests in customer service training, particularly on treating all guests, including solo female travelers ,with courtesy, respect, and professionalism."

"We visited the place and had talked to somebody earlier and told us there are rooms and food. After getting there, no food super tired from a long journey. The receptionist was super rude( poor customer service). I think a client should be given options. Despite me being a loyal client she didn't care. Of course am not visiting the place anytime."

"We enjoyed ourselves while at Swara over Christmas. The staff were charming and very helpful.Rosemary at the reception was on top of things. Meals were great and a good variety. They also had kids minders at the playground and kids activities.We loved the bonfire at night Downside The rooms were a bit old for that price point. They didn't change towels daily ,though once we asked for them to change they did so. The person minding the bonfire had to be called every time to adjust the fire. I hope they can also get a real pool in future!"

"Het restaurant was uitzonderlijk, met een groot deel. Speciaal lof voor de kok en wachter Sam Collins, die welkome dienst verleende. Het resort is perfect voor families, met leuke activiteiten zoals zwembad en een speeltuin voor kinderen. De zwembadserver was zo geweldig met de kinderen. De faciliteit was zeer schoon en goed onderhouden De belangrijkste ruimte voor verbetering is de WiFi, omdat er niemand in de kamers, het maakte onaangename voor de gasten. De toegang was beperkt tot het restaurant. Ondanks het Wi-Fi-probleem was de ervaring zeer aangenaam en er is een sterk belang bij terugkeer."
