Great experience and the room was clean and bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only one tiny negative was a lack of hanging spaces for clothes. However I would definitely recommend it.

A quaint old English Inn enjoying the characteristics of the era.
The hotel staff were very welcoming and made the stay very enjoyable.

Lovely little hotel and pub.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy.
Quieter end of the town which was nice, but still an easy 5 minute walk to town centre.
The ‘crookedness’ of the old building took some getting use to when walking around the room.
The outside wall of the bedroom did have some damp on it.

Room was ok. Bed comfy and clean bedding. However bathroom was spoilt by lack of window that opened and shower enclosure which has lots of mouldy marked grouting, so much so we didn’t want to even use it. Corridors to room also have marked and fraying carpet which doesn’t set good impression. Shame as place has character.

Good location, only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the car park.
The room was clean and comfortable, if a little bit cramped. Also, being located directly above the bar, it got quite noisy in the evening.
Would stay again, but only for a night or two.

Room was okay for what it was, had a warm welcome from the lady who checked me in but the night staff they were something else! Disgusting attitude when the key wasn’t working in the door talking and looking at me like something they picked up from the bottom of their shoe. Will most definitely be avoiding just from that experience and will be making sure my other work colleagues stay away, Congratulations to that lady.

We had a great stay. The hotel is in a brilliant location and the room was great value for money. The staff were super accomodating and the food was incredible. Would recommend and would happily stay again.

Great stay in this lovely old pub. The staff were super friendly, and the food quality was exceptional. I highly recommend the Beef Sunday Lunch.

It was clean, close to shops. Parking was at NCp car park 5 mins away. The walls are a bit thin and other residents could be heard.
