"The location is good, but check-in was a hassle. The reception was often unattended, and the room code wasn't included in the check-in envelope. Check-in took a considerable amount of time. Although the hotel has two bedrooms and two living rooms, please note that there is only one bathroom and one toilet. Therefore, it's only recommended for families or couples, and no more than three people. There are monkeys in the trees next to the hotel."

"Just three cottages, we had number 1, tucked away just above the Great Ocean Road just a few kilometres East of Apollo Bay. Easy to find. Superbly equipped cottage with covered verandah. The internal window seat is an ideal spot to lie back and watch the waves and the world go by. Be prepared for the steep start to the driveway straight off the Great Ocean Road. It’s not a problem but first time when you’re not sure what to expect it can catch you out. The cottages are really well appointed with all you require. No oven but a gas barbecue on the verandah and microwave in the kitchen. Take a walk further up the drive at dusk to hopefully see koalas in the trees. We went both nights we stayed and saw one each time. Magical experience."

"Na het lezen van de recensies was ik aangenaam verrast door dit hostel! Het was een mooie kleine plek, met een thuisgevoel. De locatie was geweldig, slechts een 12 minuten rijden van Apollo Bay, met een waterval rond de hoek en een lege strand een 5 minuten lopen! Er zijn boerderijdieren rond om te kijken, de plek was schoon en tevreden, met een fatsoenlijke keuken en gemeentegebieden. Het is een volledige zelfcontrole en we hebben geen personeel gezien terwijl er zo voorbereid was! Over het algemeen, voor de prijs, zou ik zeker een verblijf herboeken hier."
