"Located near the outskirts of Alba, about a 30-minute walk from downtown Alba, it's very quiet. The one-bedroom apartment is sufficient, but the Wi-Fi isn't very fast."

"This hotel is very much into cost cutting and skimping. The hotel has good potential but in the end gives as little as it can. My dad nearly fell in the shower as they didnt have anti slip mats, which are generally standard in a 4 star hotel. There were no tea making facilities. They advertised a coffee and drinks bar on the ground floor but it wasn't staffed and on one occassion when we did try to ask a staff member, they had run out of draught beer. Another night, we were told it was closed and we thought, this is supposed to be 4 star, and its all closed before 10:30! Restaurant was lovely for food but again, some nights closed, and you got kicked out early. We tried to have a drink after dinner, but were told, they'd closed. This was c.9:30. Gym was not a gym, just a few items crammed into a small room to tick a box, a bit like the coffee and drinks bar - both used to tick a box and say "we provide...". Worst of all was breakfast - terrible! Very narrow selection, stale and cardboard type food. No salads or good quality food. What was there was generally UPF. Toaster had only one type of white skinny UPF bread, and this hotel stocked a minimum, running out and topping up with 5 or 6 slices. After 2nd day, I just settled for a small pack of gone off All Bran, then got fresh food in a local cafe. Location is very close to Alba but if you plan staying in this hotel, be prepared - bring your own anti-slip mat, your own kettle and tea, your own toilet paper, and best to avoid booking breakfast, if you do, you'll only eat really poor quality food for breakfast in this hotel. Air con was also terrible and would not set lower than 22 degrees, though even at that, it didnt appear to function as well as in other hotels. Hotel Scrooge!"

"Een paar minuten van het centrum van Alba, is het omsingeld door Langa met zijn heuvels en wijngaarden. Naast de verfijnde locatie en de bovenverfijnde keuken, mag ik zeggen dat, een grote kracht is het personeel dat de gasten op deze oenogastronomische route met alle respect vergezellen. Een applaus voor de aandacht die wordt besteed aan stilte en privacy waar de gast kan genieten van dit moment dat wordt afgebroken van het dagelijks leven"

"De Medea overtrof onze verwachtingen in ieder geval. Wees op de hoogte dat zonder een auto het een beetje geïsoleerd is. We hadden een auto, dus het was geweldig om gratis parkeren op de gebouwen, en slechts een 5-minute rijden in Alba. Het was ook gemakkelijk toegankelijk voor de vele andere plaatsen die we bezochten, veel meer dan als we in het centrum van Alba hadden gebleven. De kamer en de openbare ruimtes zijn spotloos, de decoratie is traditioneel met goede houten meubels, de badkamer is goed uitgerust en groot, de koning-grootte bed zeer comfortabel. Het personeel had niet mooier kunnen zijn. We eten geen ontbijt, dus het was leuk om de optie niet te hebben om het op te nemen."

"We stayed in the 120 m² penthouse apartment, which was modern and tastefully furnished. It had two bedrooms and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen (with a Nespresso machine and capsules!). There's a terrace that wraps around the entire apartment with plenty of seating and some lovely views. The apartment is high enough that it's not too noisy during the day. Parking is available nearby. The owner was friendly, and check-in via mobile phone was hassle-free. We would definitely stay here again."

"Geweldig verblijf! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In één woord: geweldig. We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf bij MiaClara Wine Relais De locatie is prachtig, de kamers zijn mooi en comfortabel en alles ziet er tot in de puntjes verzorgd uit. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en de wijnen zijn uitstekend. Een absolute aanrader is om, als je de kans krijgt, vanaf vrijdag ’s avonds op locatie te eten. De eigenaresse kookt zelf en dat proef je! De gerechten zijn met veel liefde bereid en echt heerlijk. Dat mag je absoluut niet missen! Ook de omgeving is schitterend en perfect om de streek te ontdekken. Fijn extra pluspunt: je kunt je elektrische auto opladen. Maar wat ons verblijf echt bijzonder maakte, waren de mensen. Iedereen is ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam. Ze nemen de tijd voor je en geven met plezier leuke tips voor de omgeving. Wij komen hier heel graag nog eens terug!"
