The property itself is well-maintained and has potential, but its location deep inside the jungle felt a bit isolated and unsettling, especially at night. In case of any emergency, it didn’t seem like help would be easily accessible. The staff, though courteous, appeared undertrained and often struggled to understand or respond to requests effectively. Hospitality was below expectations, and with only a few rooms occupied during our stay, the resort felt somewhat deserted. Breakfast options were limited and not up to the standard one would expect from a property of this kind. Overall, while the resort has a nice setting, improvements in staff training, hospitality, and guest services would make the experience far more comfortable and reassuring."

"We visited Lake Canopy during peak summer with family, and though the heat was definitely intense, we still had a really great experience. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, especially if you get a backwater-facing room—the early morning vibe there is peaceful and totally worth it. The pool was very clean, which made a big difference in the heat. There were quite a few activities to keep us engaged like cycling, indoor games, and a shikara ride which we really enjoyed. We even tried a bit of fishing, which was a nice experience. Food was consistently good—breakfast had a nice variety, and both lunch and dinner were very tasty. What stood out the most was the staff—they were very hospitable and always helpful without being intrusive. Overall, despite the summer heat, it turned out to be a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend for a calm backwater experience."

He is known for his warm and family welcome in Alleppey. His staff are very helpful and understanding. His homestay and houseboat is very clean and well managed. Food in the homestay and houseboat is like homemade food. The homestay is surrounded by nature. We can also book the houseboat ride for some hours after reaching their house stay but overnight stay it is better to book prior. He will help us throughout process. He also helped us with booking our transportation from one place to another. 100% would be coming again. We also meet amazing people through Mr.Jose. Thank you so much Mr.Jose for making our trip memorable."

"DO NOT VISIST THIS PLACE. You will certainly spoil your holiday. Stay away from this place and its ZOMBI, rude, and ill-mannered owner (Mr. Mathew). Firstly, It's not a resort, it's a house with a couple of rooms which do not have any facility like of a resort. There is No restaurant, no swimming pool, no room service, no Porter, no front desk. etc. Secondly there's no sea view at all. Zero hospitality. The blankets they gave were disgustingly old and smelled so awful that it was impossible to sleep. The stench was unbearable! Bathroom is very dirty. Horrible room with absolutely no hygiene. The photos on the website are completely misleading compared to the actual condition of the property. What you see online is nothing like the real situation – it's a total scam!. Real and present condition of the property is way different that what is shown in the pics. Absolutely NO maintenance. Garden, verandah, the rooms, the parking area, entrance, walkway etc. all are in very poor condition and dirty. Price is really not worth. Worst experience I had in my entire Kerala trip. Overall its PATHETIC experience. These people have full potential to ruined your vocations. (Please refer the attached pics, sufficient to show the real condition of so called Resort (?))"
