Bediening personeel is heel vriendelijk, de personeel balie en eigenlijk alle werknemers en staan je steeds bij als je iets nodig hebt met een glimlach. Ontbijtbuffet is heel uitgebreid met Kerala's smaaktreffers. Ik zou hier graag weer terug komen als het mogelijk is. We hebben wel veel regen ervaren door de cycloon dat moment heerste Maar we hebben ondanks dat heel erg genoten. Een prachtige plek waar de resortcomplex staat met backwaters uitzicht en mooie planten en bloemen erom heen."

"We had a very relaxing 4 days here after our big adventure around the golden triangle followed by Goa then Cochin, the back waters of kerela and finally marari beach. The villa was a different experience for us but once you got used to it added to our adventure. Marari beach is very beautiful but quiet and not much to do but this added to its charm for us."

"We have just returned from Kerala after a week's tour and 2 weeks stay, at the Abad Turtle beach Hotel. Firstly, it does not appear in any sense to be a Hotel. The drive through to Reception is beautifully tropical, and at the small Reception building, we were greeted by our friendly hosts with a garland of flowers and refreshment. All the accommodation is in private bungalows, and there is only around 30 of them. They are all set, well spaced out, in beautiful tropical surroundings. There is also a Spa / Ayurvedic Centre on site. The grounds are just stunning, with a Butterfly Garden, vegetable garden, ponds, wildlife and nice walks that lead you to the private beach. There are two beach shacks nearby, on the beach, where you can get food and drinks. We were unusual guests, in the sense that most people are just passing through, staying only 1-3 nights, so we got to know the staff, and the Hotel a bit better. The Staff were fantastic - very friendly, and constantly asking us if everything was ok, and did we need anything. 'Nicey' was particularly helpful and she was always looking out for us. The food was nearly all Indian food, mostly vegetarian, and was very nice, albeit there was not much variation every day - short stays would not notice this. As vegetarians we thought that mixing the meat and vegetable food tureens was not a good idea, so mentioned it to the Manager who immediately organised the tureens to be separated. Most Hotels in India do this, by-the-way. I hope he maintained that after we left (it would be nice if other guests could comment on that). The Bungalows were very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was semi-open air. The swimming pool was very welcoming, albeit it could with some TLC and a paint-job! There was only a dozen sun beds, but fortunately the pool was not used much. We got out and about with the use of local Tuk-Tuks and Allepey is only 30 minutes away, where we hired some boats on the backwaters. We really enjoyed our stay there and it was extremely relaxing and rewarding. The highlight for us was the wildlife."

"I recently stayed at Time Square Hotel and had a mostly enjoyable experience. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. They were attentive and went out of their way to ensure my comfort and convenience throughout my stay. The room itself was lovely – clean, spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, offering a wonderful retreat after a day of exploring the city. It was evident that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Breakfast at the hotel was reasonable, with a decent selection of items that catered to different tastes. While it wasn't the most extensive buffet I've encountered, the quality of the food was good, and it provided a solid start to the day. However, my stay wasn't without its issues. The most persistent problem was the constant cold calls from the hotel's spa. Receiving these calls almost daily became quite bothersome. It's something the hotel management might want to reconsider or at least provide guests with the option to opt out of such communications. Additionally, there was an unfortunate incident with one of the staff members who berated me for not informing them in advance that I would be missing the buffet breakfast on one occasion. This abruptness was surprising and not in line with the otherwise excellent service standard set by the rest of the team. In summary, my stay at Time Square Hotel was delightful on many fronts, with commendable staff, lovely accommodations, and reasonable dining options. However, the spa's marketing tactics and the isolated incident with a staff member did mar the overall experience slightly. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into consideration to ensure an even more pleasant and seamless experience for future guests"

The food at the resort was great, the restaurant menu had limited choices. They also offer a free shikara ride in the evening. The resort also provides with cab services for sightseeing or travelling."

"This is a really fine homestay hotel. It’s very new and well-designed. There’s a small pool on the roof that offers a great view of the beach while you cool off. There’s an elevator for those of us who can’t handle stairs as well as we once could. The owner and staff are super friendly. Complimentary breakfast was eaten with other guests and usually the owner. A very family-like atmosphere."

"If you are anywhere near Alleppey, you need to eat at the restaurant inside Hotel Olivia International. We stopped in for lunch, and it easily goes down as the absolute best meal we have had so far on our trip to India! The food was phenomenal, but the service elevated the entire experience to another level. Sumit, who was part of the dining staff, was absolutely exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and guided us through the dishes with true expertise. To top it all off, the chef personally came out to to meet us—a fantastic touch of hospitality that made us feel incredibly welcome. Hands down, this turned out to be the greatest dining experience of our entire trip. Incredible food, world-class service, and unforgettable hospitality. We are already looking forward to visiting them again!"

Breakfast was delicious and substantial with an array of fresh fruit , omelette and Indian breakfast. Very filling and much appreciated to start the day. Very clean and air con room and ample communal lounge areas to use. Having a kettle and tea/coffee/ water station was much appreciated. Offered fruit and cake on arrival was a lovely touch. Biju also arranged a number of trips for guests though we had no time to experience, other guests gave excellent reports. Highly recommend you try this homestay in Alleppey."

"We hebben 2 nachten in het Cyrus Resort gebleven en hebben een zeer ontspannen tijd. De kamers zijn comfortabel, hoewel we moesten vragen hoe om te zetten op de tv en hoe om warm water te krijgen (beide hadden hun eigen schakelaar). Alleen negatief was het gebrek aan koelkast. Het restaurant bediende een goede keuken tegen een zeer redelijke prijs. Het zwembad was prachtig en we hebben een paar uur gereedheid daar besteed. U kunt een boot huren om uw rond de achterwateren te nemen slechts een korte loopafstand van het hotel, wat een geweldige ervaring was."
