"Het hotel is schoon, comfortabel en goed onderhouden, en het personeel was vriendelijk en handig. Het zwembad is prachtig en de gratis shuttle naar Son Bou strand is een geweldige service. De enige neerwaartse plaats voor ons was de locatie. Het hotel is vrij ver van het strand, en er is niet veel te doen binnen wandelafstand, vooral in de avond. Maar de shuttle maakt het gemakkelijker om naar het strand te komen. Over het algemeen is het een rustig en ontspannen hotel, en we zouden het een goede rating geven."

"First impressions were excellent; beautiful gardens and pool area, total tranquillity, friendly receptionist, welcome drink on the terrace. However on being shown to the room we were hugely disappointed. Although large and spacious it seemed damp and was cold (even though it was 25° outside). We had to ask for a heater! The furniture on the terrace (which overlooked a few olive trees and what I can only describe as a pile of rubble) was old and damp, you certainly wouldn’t want to sit on it with or without a pretty view. We ate in the restaurant in the evening after an aperitif in the garden. A nice touch would be to put candles on the tables in the garden. Once in the restaurant we were absolutely ignored for a while until someone finally came to show us to our table. The service started out being good but then became sporadic. Finesse was certainly lacking in a restaurant of this standard. We were left to pour our own wine, the food was not of a quality one would expect of an establishment at this level, there were no finger bowls to cleanse hands after de-shelling prawns, coffee was not offered and by the end we felt somewhat cheated. On the whole a rather disappointing stay. "

"I had a lovely stay at Menorca Experimental. The property is beautiful and interiors are impeccable throughout. Swimming pool is lovely. Dinner menu is good and the vibe on the outdoor terrace area is great. Lunch menu is limited and nothing special. I have no complaints about my stay overall as I enjoyed it - staff were sufficiently friendly, but I wouldn't say the service here blows your mind nor do they go out of their way to make you feel warmly welcomed. It was my 30th birthday celebration on the weekend I stayed here and none of the staff noticed (despite my sister, who made the booking, telling them in advance). Location of hotel is in the middle of nowhere and if you aren't driving yourself/renting a car, you will have to rely on expensive taxis to get around the island otherwise there is nothing to really do in the vicinity of the hotel."

"The hotel hasn't changed its location so all's good in that respect. What has changed is the quality of the food and drinks, especially if you opt for all inclusive and the staff, they didn't seem to fussed about helping you. The quality and variety in the restaurant, especially lunch and evening were in my opinion below the standard I'd expect from a one star hotel, never mind three. We were their last year 2025 and the high overall rating the hotel was well deserved when it was under Seth ownership. Unfortunately our trip this year 2026 did not go so well. Staff just shrugged when asked anything but the simplest of queries. A glass of Sangria is according to them red wine and sprite or Fanta lemon. The food was that bad we ate out after trying it for two days. We opted to "upgrade" to a bungalow, please take our warning and don't. The patio door runners were square, not round, the shower one minute was cold, the next scalding, flush the loo and the sink tap stopped so you had to wait to wash your hands. I could go on, but I'll leave you to imagine how bad it could be, then let you know it was worse."

Het verblijf stelde ons een beetje teleur en liet een bitterzoete smaak achter. Het eten was erg flauw en weinig gevarieerd en de kinderactiviteiten waren saai."

"Amagatay you were the most luxurious breath of fresh air! I hosted a retreat at the hotel for 10 guests, I cannot speak more highly of the hotel, it is one of the most tranquil settings I have been to. The staff go above and beyond, you can see and feel how passionate and proud they are, nothing was ever too much trouble, it was noted by all my guests. The rooms are just delightful, beds extremely comfortable, products are divine, the decor all in keeping with their slow, calm pace, you can't help but relax as soon as you arrive. We loved the little buggy to pick us up and I'm missing the exquisite bird song every morning! I haven't even mentioned the food, creative, delicious and farm to table was the icing on the cake. I would absolutely return, thank you Amagatay for everything...."

"This was the most amazing villa. The pool of fantastic, we went with our 3 adult children , we all loved it. The bedrooms and bathrooms are gorgeous. The kitchen is fully equipped with every possible thing you could Need! The only thing to note is you need to collect the key in the reception which is down the end of a very strap hill about 10 minute walk. We found we did need a car there to get around. It was one of our top holidays ever! Menorca is spectacular!"

"Sou Bou is een prachtig gebied van Menorca, waar deze appartementen zijn gelegen. De receptie was een beetje moeilijk, zoals de recepteur zeer weinig Engels begrepen. Onze appartement was goed onderhouden, zeer schoon en tevreden. Het was relatief recentelijk versierd, maar in plaatsen droeg. Er was ook een plafond mouwen in de badkamer. De extra kastjes werden ook gebruikt en waren vuil, waardoor schoonmaken nodig waren. De keuken bevatte een koelkast, toaster, ketel en oven. Het strand was toegankelijk met de auto, maar niet met wandeling, vooral in de zomerwarmte."
