I personally witnessed people slipping and falling hard there for two consecutive days. This really should be improved, as personal safety measures are very important."

We reserveerden alleen de kamer maar toegevoegd aan een diner en ontbijt in het hotel. De belangrijkste toeristische zone ligt op loopafstand van het hotel en u kunt rondlopen in de yukata gepaard gaan met de lange en korte kimonojassen die het hotel in de winter heeft geleverd."

The hotel has a special bus to and from the bus station, Yubatake and the hotel at a fixed time, so it is most convenient to take the hotel transfer. The hotel has performances every night, especially Japanese drumming, and the performers are very hardworking and serious. Although there are not many hot springs to choose from, the area is super large, so it doesn't feel crowded. The overall facilities of Sakurai Hotel are ideal."

"We hebben 1 nacht verbleven in het dorp Kusatsu Onsen. Het is een resort dat veel activiteiten (tafeltennis, bowling, game arcade, enz.) en een aparte spa met zwembad en sauna biedt. We moesten het hotel niet uitstappen tot we Kusatsu moesten verlaten. Het diner en het ontbijtbuffet waren ook heerlijk. Er zijn shampoo en badgereedschap voor baby's in de dames bad. Ik denk dat het geschikt is voor familie met jonge kinderen."

I was provided with shuttle bus on check-in and check-out to nearby station (kawaryo onsen station). This place is perfect if you want to detox from city bustle and cleanse your thoughts. Nearby konbini is 1h away on foot (or 15 min on car) so I advise you to stock up your supplies in advance if you need any."

I took an early bath in the morning before breakfast and it was so calm, you have two different baths to use. We didn't do dinner, but we had breakfast and it was tasty and abundant. The hotel is perfectly located next to the path that goes to Sainokawara park, but also very close to the center of the village. I truly recommend it"

"The location is fantastic, right near Yubatake, and there's a foot bath at Jizo-no-Yu nearby. The hotel thoughtfully provides towels at the entrance for guests to take when they go for a foot bath, and you can just leave the used towels there when you return. You can also grab an umbrella from the entrance anytime you head out. The hairdryer in the room is a standard travel-sized one, but they have Salonia hairdryers in the public bath area, so I always did my hair there. Most of the staff used Google Translate on their phones to communicate with me, and 'Mr. Tanaka' and 'Mr. Fang Zhong' were particularly attentive, polite, and patient. Some of the female staff were also very courteous, though I apologize for not remembering their names. I'm very grateful to all of them."

"I used this hotel because I had to go to Kusatsu Onsen on short notice during the long weekend. I booked the plan that included dinner. During the meal, the hostess made the effort to greet each table. The dining area was small. The room was average. I was disappointed with the baths. There were two small ones. There was no open-air bath for women, so it was lonely. I guess this is the rank of the hotel if it's available for a reasonable price even during the long weekend, but I realized that I could have chosen a higher rank. It's close to the Yubatake, so it's good for people who value location. The parking lot was small and it took a long time to leave."
