Die Lage des Hostels in Sichtweite zur Bucht von Praia da Vitória ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Service ist überaus freundlich, allerdings nicht rund um die Uhr vor Ort (eine Telefonnummer ist jedoch hinterlegt). Die Zimmer sind mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet; qualitative Ausstattung und Sauberkeit in der Gemeinschaftsküche sind jedoch nur bedingt gegeben.

Het personeel van het Passal Hostel was zeer vriendelijk en voorafgaand.
De kamers zijn super uitgerust en in het algemeen alles werkt zeer nieuw en onderhouden.
Het ontbijt was ook geweldig.
Ik kan de hostel alleen maar verder aanbevelen.

Wanneer je verblijft bij Nereida in Horta, bevind je je vlak bij Historisch centrum en Peter's Scrimshaw Museum. Dit pension ligt op 0,3 km van Haven van Horta en op 0,5 km van Fort van Santa Cruz.
Dit pension biedt aparte rookruimtes.
Enkele van de voorzieningen zijn een stomerij/wasserijservice en een wasserij. Ter plaatse heb je gratis parkeerplaatsen.
Doe of je thuis bent in één van de 5 klimaatgeregelde kamers met een magnetron en een flatscreentelevisie. Dankzij gratis wifi blijf je online, terwijl de tv met kabelzenders zorgt voor het kijkplezier. De privébadkamers met een bad hebben gratis toiletartikelen en haardrogers. Bij de voorzieningen horen een waterkoker en gratis theezakjes/oploskoffie en de kamers worden één keer per verblijf schoongemaakt.

I had an excellent stay at Island Bliss. I was there for only one night, during a 19-hour layover in Ponta Delgada. The dorm room I stayed in was super comfortable, each bed having a lamp, 2 outlets, and a towel free of charge (which most places don't offer without a fee). The bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, with a nice shower and plenty of room. Everything was very smooth. Self check-in is excellent and very convenient, especially since I was arriving late at night. I didn't end up using the kitchen, but it seemed well-organized and clean as I passed through it. After checking out, I was able to stay in the main seating area and download some shows for the plane, which was very nice of the owner. I should clarify that I stayed here in the off-season, which might be why I was allowed to stay after my check-out. I didn't have much time to explore Ponta Delgada, but it seemed to be a good spot, near several restaurants and botanical gardens. I would easily recommend this place to travelers, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at!

AAnonymous UserA little bit far from the sea but near shopping mall with big supermarket.
Room and toilet are nice and clean.
Free breakfast is a plus with basic bread, ham, cheese, cereal, milk, coffee, hot chocolate and sometimes fruit.
Very nice and spacious common room.
No kitchen facilities is the only downside provided the expensive food options in Ponta Delgada.

GGuest UserThe location of the hostel in views of the Bucht of Praia da Vitória is very good. The rooms are clean and lovely furnished. The service is very friendly, but not around the hour on the ground (a telephone number is still deposited). The rooms are equipped with all necessary, but quality and cleanness in the community kitchen are only provided.

There is no kitchen or refrigerator to accommodate customers.
The bedrooms are very small and the beds are noisy.
On 6 beds, both of the center have no take or light.
No serviette or soap provided.
Healthcare is far from the bedrooms.
The toilets were running and there was always water on the floor.
No air conditioning, no ventilator and the boxes are not barriered.
To finish on a positive note it was clean and the architecture of this old building is beautiful.
