Hostels in Vientiane Province, Laos

Excellent location- few steps to 7-11, mini mart and ATM; plenty of cafes and local food shops along the same street, 5 min to night market. Great breakfast- 5 types of fruits and decent portions of eggs breakfast to choose from. Coffee, tea, juice available during breakfast time. Reception- helpful, English speaking staffs Cleanliness- considered very good, washroom and shower room are clean and not wet. Vibe- mostly teenagers to westerners aged 20’s, who seem get along and enjoy spending time at lobby area during evening till late Downsides 1)AC off from 10am to 6pm; renovation of swimming pool started from 8am and it’s hard to chill or relax at lobby area during my 2 days stay. 2)Sleep- my room is the nearest to lobby area, the guests were loud talking, laughing the whole night till 2am + on my first night( I couldn’t fall asleep at all) the 2nd night karaoke and music bombarded from 9pm to 11pm, thereafter guests continued talking and laughing loud till late. Perhaps earplugs and eye mask could help with coping the downsides, given the overall consideration, it’s not bad for a quick night stay.

Mad Monkey Vang Vieng heeft een leuke en sociale sfeer en het personeel is meestal vriendelijk en energiek. Het is een geweldige plek als je wilt ontmoeten met nieuwe mensen en genieten van de feestelijke vibe. Sommige gebieden kunnen echter verbeteringen gebruiken. De kamers en voorzieningen kunnen een beetje verbruikt voelen en de schoonheid is soms onconsistent. Afhankelijk van wanneer u blijft, kan het geluidsniveau vrij hoog zijn, vooral bij andere bezoekers, zelfs laat in de nacht, iets om te onthouden als u hoopt om te rusten. Over het algemeen is het een levendige hostel met een sterke sociale scène, maar niet de beste keuze als comfort en rust zijn uw belangrijkste prioriteiten.

とても良かった。朝早い便があるため、朝の4:30にビエンチャン空港まで送迎してくれました（100ドル） また、朝ごはんはロビーで食べますが他のバックパッカーと食べるので友達を作りやすいです。 view pointに山登りして、靴が泥だらけになりましたがホテルの外の蛇口で洗い流せます（ブラシ等は置いていないので持参することを勧めます） 雨が降ってしまった日でも、ホステルの中にあるビリヤードなどで楽しむ人が多くいます。 また、水も自由にウォーターサーバーから補給できます。 そしてホステルに住んでいるわんちゃんはとても可愛いです。またヴァンヴィエンに来たらこのホステルに泊まります。

A great place if you want to socialize but also if you feel to take your time and have your space. The food is excellent, the location is great, the swimming pool has a great view! The 4 bed room was nice, the toilet in the room made it also comfy, the cleaning was done thoroughly. The guys at the reception were always helpful! Wifi was great too!

Mooi basishotel, wandelbaar in de stad. Het volgende deurpool kan een beetje lawaai zijn. Earplug do the trick 😆 Eenvoudig ontbijt, maar oké. - Gebruik je personeel. Pillow moet misschien veranderen, omdat het te zacht is. Kettle levert, maar de muur was te hoog. Overall OK for basic reasons

L’hostel est mediocre c’est sale, il fait froid pas d’eau chaude dans la douche. Heureusement que j’avais mon draps de lit parce que celui fourni par l’hostel était rempli de tache. Je me demande si il font le ménage. À fuir

The receptionists were friendly and helpful, which made check-in and check-out pleasant. The room was clean overall, but the floor on the hallway was quite dusty, which might just be typical for Vang Vieng. Unfortunately, my bed was used by 2 guests (a couple) who entered the room first, so I ended up having to use their bed. The locker assigned to me was broken, and the key for the locked door didn’t always work, which was a bit inconvenient. There’s potential for a comfortable stay here, but a few improvements in room readiness and maintenance would make a big difference.

It's OK! Everything is good... The location is also very good... Next time if I have a chance to pass by, I will still consider staying here. It was a very happy journey
