"De locatie is goed, als je naar buiten gaat, sla je linksaf en je vindt het metrostation, niet ver van Central Street. Het ligt op een grote binnenplaats en het is nogal verlaten met weinig toeristen. De verwarmingstemperatuur van de kamer is OK, maar er zijn geen faciliteiten. De badkamer is leeg en je moet naar de receptie om badhanddoeken en toiletpapier te halen Over het algemeen is het gewoon."

"I stayed as I read This international youth hostel gets a very high rating. However the notice board hardly has any English wording despite the word International hostel. The room & facilities were clean. Toilet paper, bath gel & shampoo were provided. Hot water & tea available as well. It is near the main tourist attractions & walking distance from the metro station. There are two little cute cats around & sometimes it'll sneak into your room. Not suitable to stay here if you are allergic to Cat. Overall I am happy with the stay & will stay again"

"Room was quite big. The bed was soooooo soft and comfortable. The aircon was quite strong, and could easily fill the room. The staff was very nice and even offered me some of his homemade guangdong style dinner. If I ever return to fuyuan i will definetely be booking here again."

Will definitely come again if I ever repeat Harbin. 10/10 ❤️"

"The hostel was very close to the main train station. Walking distance if it isn't too cold or a short Didi/taxi ride. The room was clean, and shower was hot and put out a lot of pressure. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There was a good view outside and the area was quiet. It was quite noisy at night and we could hear a lot of shouting, yelling and laughing coming from the down stairs common area, however by 10-11pm it was silent. Again a lot of children were skateboarding through the hostel, yelling etc but they were quiet after 10-11pm. There were lots of cheap restaurants and a few convenience stores and supermarkets in very close proximity. We even wrote a message on the wall."

"住了四天，缺點是枕頭太硬，（我不知道有沒有軟的，沒有問）衞生間是感應燈，經常不靈。浴室沒有沐浴用品（洗髮水沐浴露），洗澡的時候前台沒有人，我去外面買的。 第一次來東北玩，哈爾濱的酒店真的太貴，鞍山就便宜非常多，早市也比哈爾濱便宜。東北青旅整體沒有南方的好（我衹住過這一間，這已經是我在網上看到的我覺得相對較好的了）。"

The location of the hotel is so convinient, it's close to grocery stores, restaurants, mosques and morning markets and many more. The staff is very helpfull, the environment in here is so warm. I like my stay in here.

The location is fantastic, right at the subway entrance. When it's -20 to -30 degrees Celsius outside, saving a few hundred meters of walking really is a lifesaver. The hostel also provides free earplugs, and there are a lot of international guests, so you hear all sorts of languages. As an introverted person with social anxiety, I wasn't able to initiate conversations. There's a fridge and microwave on the first floor, so you can store your own food and heat it up whenever you want. All in all, it's pretty good!

This is the best Hostel that I have ever stayed in. The location is right on central street (the street that is in all the stuff to do lists on Harbin). It is also only 10 minutes walking distance from the Saint Sophia's church. There is also this mall 1 minute walking distance from the front door called Euro Plaza a 7 story shopping mall with all the food and shopping you would need or want. Apart from its rooms, the hotel offers a common area and free washer dryers for its guests both of which are very clean. It also has refrigerators in the common area that it sells drinks out of, I even saw people store their food inside the right most refrigerators because there are no refrigerators in the rooms. Overall I would definitely stay here if I come back to Harbin.

Here's a revised version of your review: We are from Malaysia, and we coincidentally found this hotel after we failed to book a train to Harbin City. Fortunately, we found hard seating available to Harbinxi, which led to our journey here. The family room in this hostel is very spacious, and the private bathroom is large with solid concrete walls, unlike many budget hostels that use tempered glass partitions. The location is convenient, just a 9-minute walk to the station and several large shopping centers. To access other popular areas, you can take the subway for just 4 Yuan per person per trip. This hostel is run by a couple who are very nice and helpful. We felt very welcomed; the lady owner, Mdm Wong, even told us, ”If you get bullied by anyone in Harbin, call me. I will protect you.” 😀 Lastly, there's a gray cat in the hostel that our kids loved. She enjoys being petted a lot. The only thing I would like to mention is that some hidden areas, like under the bed and curtains, are dusty. I hope the owner can address this.

*5/5 Stars: A Warm Oasis in a Chilly City* As a foreigner traveling from afar, I was a bit apprehensive about navigating a new city in the midst of a cold snap (-10°C!). But from the moment I stepped into the hotel, the staff's warmth and welcome dispelled all my concerns. The room itself was immaculate, with comfortable, new bedsheets and a spotless washroom. The heating system was a blessing in the freezing temperatures, and we slept soundly each night. What sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. The staff's genuine warmth, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile make it a true gem in this chilly city. I was extremely satisfied; this was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. It was my first time staying in a hostel in northern China, and the main reason I slept so well was because it cured my sleep problems 💤… Considering the incredibly low price, I felt obligated to give it a good review. The best part was meeting three different roommates who were all very nice and shared their travel experiences… This was a pleasant surprise. The only regret was not being able to participate in any activities! The fact that there were fewer people these past few days (off-season) was also an advantage. The barbecue place recommended by Brother Nie was delicious, but I ordered too much for one person. Be careful when ordering food in Northeast China—the portions are huge!!! Next time I'm in Harbin, I'll definitely stay in a hostel nearby; it's about a 20-minute walk.

This was my first solo trip, and my first time staying in a hostel, and the experience was truly fantastic! Even though I only stayed one night, I had an incredibly, incredibly happy, warm, and cozy stay. The environment was great, it really felt like home. They have a female-only section, and my roommates were super nice. It was a very comfortable stay, and excellent value for money! I absolutely loved this place and have already recommended it to my friends. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Harbin!

The room was clean and odor-free, and the heating was excellent without being stuffy. The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making guests feel right at home. All the amenities you need are available, including a water heater, washing machine, hairdryer, and microwave. There are even emergency food supplies. It offers great value for money and is close to Central Street. The environment is clean and bright. I'll definitely be back here on my next trip!
