"I have to say it's the best Youth Hostel I have ever stayed in Barcelona. The location is near the guell park, compared to the other popular location, it's not noisy and really quiet at night. Everything is clean, you can a nice aroma everywhere once you enter into the hostel. They provided the locker and the key, so it's also safety. I would definitely choose it for the next time's travel in Barcelona."

"Ik verbleef er in totaal 6 dagen. De prijs was redelijk en het was een unieke reiservaring. Je kon je eigen maaltijden bereiden; er was een gemeenschappelijke keuken en badkamers. Je kon ook op de binnenplaats zitten om te kletsen en te eten. Het was veilig en hygiënisch. Ik heb maar één suggestie: installeer alstublieft planken in de gemeenschappelijke badkamers voor het opbergen van toiletartikelen."

"Overall, a good stay with a Few Minor Issues I stayed at Safestay Barcelona Gothic from June 17–18, 2025, in a 12-bed mixed dorm. The experience was mostly positive. ✅ Pros: The location is excellent — just a 5-minute walk from the metro, which made it easy to get around. If you have an early flight (like mine at 08:30), this is a good place to stay as you can easily reach the airport in time. The dorm, bathrooms, and common areas were all neat and clean. Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. Definitely value for money. ⚠️ Cons: The check-in time listed in my confirmation email was 14:00, but they didn’t allow check-in until 15:00. This was a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was not included in the booking. Overall, it’s a decent and budget-friendly option in a central area, especially for solo or budget travellers. I would recommend it for short stays."

"Ontbijt is beschikbaar voor EUR 5 vanaf 4 uur 's ochtends. Een taxi naar de luchthaven is beschikbaar op reservering, op basis van wie het eerst komt, wie het eerst maalt. Middernachtbus N17 naar de luchthaven stopt om de hoek van het hotel, geaccepteerd met een T-Casual Mobility Card. Er is een lift in het hotel, een echte aanrader."

"I stayed here during my solo trip and had the best experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm, friendly, and helpful — they really made me feel at home. The bathrooms were spotless and well maintained, which made such a big difference during my stay. The whole place had a really welcoming and positive vibe, and it was super easy to meet other travelers and make friends. As a solo traveler, I always look for places that feel safe and comfortable, and this hostel ticked all the boxes. The common areas were lively but relaxed, perfect for chatting, reading, or just hanging out. I left with great memories and new friends — I’d 100% recommend this hostel to anyone, especially solo travelers looking for a clean, friendly, and fun place to stay!"

"Het hostel ligt in het centrum, dicht bij de metro en haltes. Het is ook niet ver van de zee. Er zijn geen vragen over de locatie. Ik heb vragen over het nummer: ik heb er één genomen. Het licht is zwak, de matras beweegt tijdens het slapen over het hele bed. Het leek alsof je je een keer omdraaide en samen met de matras uit bed viel. De kamer is klein. Er is een raam, maar het kijkt uit op de binnenplaats. De kamer is schoon, maar ongemakkelijk. Er is een douchecabine en een hanger. Er is geen kast. De vloeren zijn van marmer, erg koud (we bezochten het in april). Maar het meest onaangename is het lawaai in de gang. Groepen mensen woonden in slaapzalen en maakten mij drie keer per nacht wakker met hun geschreeuw en dichtslaande deuren. Kortom, de volgende keer ben ik bereid hier alleen te blijven als ik nergens anders iets fatsoenlijks kan vinden."

"Good location close to everywhere. Little bit disturbing like in any big hostels, people are coming and going out every hour. This time cleanness was in the average level."

"Останавливалась на 2 ночи в Onefam, и хочу сказать, что это идеальный вариант, когда приходишь только поспать. У меня был общий номер с 6 кроватями, и я спала на верхней полке - было очень комфортно, т.к. расстояние до потолка большое, у каждой кровати есть плотные занавески, а еще есть полочка наверху и розетка. Индивидуальное освещение на моей полке не работало, но это было некритично. У каждого также есть ящик, куда можно сложить свои вещи и закрыть на замок (замок лучше иметь свой или можно купить на месте). Мне очень понравилось, что несмотря на мой очень поздний приезд в хостел (в 3 ночи), меня встретила девушка, все объяснила и была очень милой и доброй. И расположение для меня было очень удобным тем, что я жила в районе Sans, недалеко от стадиона, где проходил концерт, ради которого я и приехала (смогла дойти пешком после концерта и не ждать вместе с толпой автобус или заходить в метро). Что нужно иметь в виду: туалет и душ общий на 4 или 5 номеров, иногда бывает нужно подождать и в душе нет косметических принадлежностей, надо иметь свои. Вот это для меня было минусом, потому что при бронировании не обратила внимание на то, что санузел общий и не думала, что будет всего одна душевая кабинка и один туалет."

"I arrived on a late flight and wanted something not too far from the airport. This hostel was very reasonable priced and is a few minutes walk from the Metro station. The staff was super friendly with check in and there is a lovely terrace. The rooms have 4 bunk beds but I also noticed a double room. Locker for your things and around bed curtains for some privacy. I slept ok and left early morning before the others in the room got up. If you are looking for something cheap near the airport for a night this is great."

"Thank you Lucy, Jack, and Emma for taking good care of me. This was one of the best hostels I’ve ever experienced. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and invited to play beach volleyball. At night we played drinking games and had a welcome party. Then we enjoyed a pub crawl where we enjoyed VIP entrance to a couple of clubs. I would definitely stay here again. I met so many people. I had the best time. The bathrooms were sooo clean. They even cooked dinner for us for free!!! The only negative is that rooms and bathrooms were a bit small."
