"❶Voordelen:
De kamer is heel netjes en schoon, inclusief kussenslopen + dekbedovertrekken + lakens. U moet ze uit elkaar halen en wassen als u het hotel verlaat, dus deze drie items worden elke dag vervangen door nieuwe. De 8-persoonskamer beschikt over 2 aparte badkamers. Geweldig!
Het ligt zeer dicht bij uitgang D2 van het MTR-station Sham Shui Po, op ongeveer 7 minuten afstand.
Beneden vindt u een wasruimte met zelfbediening en een klein restaurant. Buiten kunt u rustig zitten en ontspannen.
❷Nadelen:
Soms kom je huurders tegen die snurken tijdens het slapen. We komen immers van over de hele wereld. Dit is niet te vermijden. Ga vroeg naar bed of neem een koptelefoon met mute-functie mee, zodat je diep kunt slapen.
De kamer beschikt niet over gratis kastsloten. U dient er bij de receptie een te kopen voor 30 HKD. U kunt ook uw eigen sloten meenemen, wat 30 yuan bespaart.
Er zijn maar heel weinig plekken om te socialiseren, eigenlijk heel weinig sociale gelegenheden. Misschien is er beneden een café, maar ik ging laat terug en de coffeeshop was gesloten.
❸Dit is een oud gebouw dat is gerenoveerd en de UNESCO-prijs heeft gewonnen. Over het algemeen is het erg goed."

"Overall, a pretty good experience, especially for students on a budget who don't want to travel back to Shenzhen for the night. The common areas offer cups, drinking water, and hot water, plus free WiFi and universal adapters. Each bed comes with sockets that can accommodate both 2-pin and 3-pin Chinese plugs. If you have any issues, the handsome owner is always quick to respond! ❤️ The location is also easy to find, very close to Jordan MTR station and in the bustling Yau Tsim Mong district. Temple Street is right downstairs with lots of delicious food, and many old local eateries nearby are tasty and affordable. 😋"

Als je op zoek bent naar een hotel waar je alleen maar kunt slapen, dan is dit de plek voor jou. Het bevindt zich op de 7e verdieping, direct onder het gebouw, met een Sasa-restaurant aan Nathan Road. Stap uit bij bus A21 en je bent er binnen 1 minuut lopen."

"Ik verbleef 3 nachten in een vrouwenslaapzaal.
De waterdruk in de douche was erg zwak en de temperatuur was onstabiel, waardoor het moeilijk te gebruiken was.
Maar ik vond het wel oké voor deze prijs.
Het beddengoed was schoon en goed.
Ze verkochten badhanddoeken, maar die waren wegwerpbaar en voelden aan als non-woven stof.
Als je een handdoek nodig hebt, denk ik dat het beter is om deze zelf mee te nemen of er een te kopen in een nabijgelegen supermarkt.
Het personeel was erg aardig en ik ben hen dankbaar dat ze mij hebben ontvangen ondanks mijn slechte Engels.
Wegwerp-eetstokjes worden tegen betaling verkocht, dus u kunt deze eventueel zelf meenemen als u deze nodig heeft.
Ik had geen lepel, dus leende ik een lotusbloem die iemand had achtergelaten.
De locatie was erg handig omdat het dicht bij het station was en er restaurants, buurtwinkels en supermarkten waren.
Mijn favoriete punten waren dat het verse sap in de fruitwinkel heerlijk was, dat het spiesrestaurant dat niet eens op de kaart stond heerlijk was, en dat er een 24-uurs wasserette met muntjes in de buurt was.
Dit is een aanbevolen plek voor degenen die willen reizen alsof ze daar wonen."

Het hotel is relatief oud, bijna dertig of veertig jaar oud. De muren zijn heel gewoon en zijn al heel lang geverfd Ongeveer 1 meter, maar het hoofddoel van de jeugdherberg is niet in hotel- of hotelstijl. De locatie (ongeveer 300 graden uitzicht op zee) en de keukenapparatuur zijn volledig uitgerust, inclusief vier groentegootstenen en vier kookstations, alles is voorzien van kommen en eetstokjes, een grote eethoek, etc. Dit zijn allemaal dingen die hotels niet kunnen doen, hier kun je communiceren en vrienden maken met mensen van over de hele wereld, dus wij zoals deze eenvoud. Ik heb tijdens mijn verblijf veel mensen ontmoet en het voelde erg druk! Deze keer boekte ik een tweepersoonskamer vlak bij de gedeelde ruimte. Ik was dol op de indeling. Ik sliep comfortabel op mijn linkerzij, maar mijn vriend sliep op mijn rechterzij, en het bed voelde merkbaar zacht en doorgezakt aan. Mijn vriend kreeg de volgende dag rugpijn, dus we zijn op de derde dag overgestapt op zijligging! De gedeelde ruimte was erg levendig en hoewel we elkaar niet kenden, kletsten we nog steeds elke dag. Het aanbod van drinkwater en snacks was een bonus. Ik weet niet welk merk shampoo er in de badkamer stond, maar mijn haar werd er ongelooflijk zacht van! De föhn was ook erg effectief! Iedereen moest na het douchen zijn eigen haar wassen, wat ik redelijk vind! Maar eerlijk gezegd vind ik het vreselijk om de huishoudster van iemand anders te zijn als de persoon vóór hen dat niet heeft gedaan. 🫠

When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"De kamer is erg schoon en comfortabel en gezellig zodra je binnen bent. Je hebt een zeer rustige, comfortabele en privéruimte tot je beschikking. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig: douchegel, borstels, föhn, minikoelkast, waterkoker en meer (zelfs een wasservice). De stopcontacten waren reizigersvriendelijk met een USB-oplader, je kunt er al je telefoons, apparaten en elektronische gadgets op aansluiten en opladen. De airconditioning en de netheid zorgden ervoor dat de kamer comfortabel en gezellig aanvoelde.
De sfeer in dit hostel is erg warm en huiselijk, met behulpzaam personeel. Ze boden een gratis wasservice aan en zorgden ervoor dat de gewassen kleding weer werd teruggebracht. De deuren hebben twee niveaus (voordeur en kamerdeur) en werken met een digitaal nummer (geen pasjessysteem). Er hangen overal camera's in de gang, waardoor je je binnen veiliger voelt. De locatie is midden in het stadscentrum, op loopafstand van alle belangrijke winkels, restaurants en toeristische attracties. Het is slechts 1 minuut lopen vanaf de hoofduitgang A1 van de TST, je kunt het niet missen.
De beste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding gezien de fantastische centrale ligging, de netheid en het comfort van de kamers en de warme sfeer met behulpzaam en attent personeel. Ik zou hier zeker weer boeken!"

It is a must-see for those who love Chinese history and culture and those who like to climb mountains. The hostel is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and is also suitable for those who love nature and enjoy the quiet countryside. The famous Tian Tan Buddha, Po Lin Monastery and Heart Sutra Forest are all within easy reach. The Phoenix Mountain facing the hostel is 934 meters above sea level and is a great place to watch the sunrise (it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the top). If you want to stroll around Ngong Ping Market or try the Ngong Ping Cable Car, the journey will only take a few dozen minutes. The hostel is currently open seven days a week. Members are kindly requested to make reservations in advance.
From Tung Chung: Take bus No. 23 from Tung Chung Bus Terminal to Ngong Ping Bus Terminal and walk towards Po Lin Monastery. At Po Lin Monastery, follow the path on the left side of the old public toilet and follow the hostel sign for about 5 to 10 minutes to reach the hostel.

Expectation/Reality: this is the only provider of accommodation in the area so expectations need to be managed. They have the ability to essentially set terms, so the negative reviews here are likely from the folks who didn’t read the find print. The photos match the space very well. However the hostel reached out over what’s app a number of days before the booking asking for the $150 membership fee and $500 deposit, which I was not comfortable providing until arrival, however the hostel was okay with that.
Security: very good, there is a gate lock and a lock to the door, very safe.
Hygiene: overall very clean, no concerns.
Hospitality: the check in and out process is all over what’s app, so you are at the mercy of how responsive they are which can be frustration when trying to get in. Once you are in, it’s fine.
Social Atmosphere: good social spaces.
Overall: given they essentially have a monopoly on accommodation in the area. It’s a pretty good spot. I accidentally broke the key and they came and fixed it the next day, but took off $50 from the deposit. So handle the keys gently. Over pretty good place."

Wow, I was really impressed by the thoughtful touches the moment I walked in! For a central Hong Kong location, this hostel offers pretty good value for money. I did my homework before coming (once in Spain, I didn't plan ahead and almost got pickpocketed!). While Hong Kong's streets and alleys are narrow and prices are high, the experience here is much better than the guesthouses I stayed at in Korea and Japan. I can even say this in my (bad) Cantonese – I'm a huge TVB fan! The transportation is super convenient; just take the elevator from Tsim Sha Tsui Exit D1 directly to the 13th floor, and the front desk is right there (it's very noticeable, and the chubby guy at the front desk is quite cute). I carefully checked my booking details before arriving and contacted the hostel 48 hours in advance, so the self-check-in process was incredibly smooth and easy. The building itself is a very typical Hong Kong commercial-residential building, making you feel like you're on a TVB set – it has so much character! I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance! The only minor regret is that the Mixue Ice Cream & Tea (bubble tea shop) across the street closed down, and other bubble tea places are a bit pricey – Hong Kong is quite expensive, haha. Highly recommend!

Anonymous UserI really enjoyed my stay here! It was especially cool for me to stay in this particular building because it's where the famous movie 'Chungking Express' was filmed. That alone makes the place special and gives it a unique vibe.
The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool, which was especially important in the hot and humid weather.
I also want to give a special shout-out to the host. He was very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and I was even able to check in earlier than the set time.

B未Quite unique for HK, this is an actual youth hostel with a reception and a lobby and a friendly staff : ) it presents relatively tidy and spacious dorms, a convenient luggage storage, and a location close to most essential public transport options like bus and metro and high speed rail. Food in the neighborhood is a variety of local and foreign (from roast duck to malay and mcdonalds) and the area in general is a good starting point for a city trip to Hong Kong with popular areas like Sham Shui Po at walking distance and a nice cinema around the corner. Highly recommended.

Guest UserThe front desk staff inexplicably asked me to leave a good review even before I checked in. After I finally checked in, I found out I was assigned to an upper bunk, which was okay, I guess. But I think they could do a better job with safety measures. There's no safety rail on the upper bunk, and it would be really bad if someone rolled off. That's just my safety suggestion. When I checked out in the morning, it was quite an eye-opener. They tried to give me back Hong Kong dollars for the 100 RMB deposit I paid last night, but I pointed it out and they did return the correct amount. And just as the reviews mentioned, they charged a cleaning fee, which was over 20 yuan.

Guest UserThe location is perfect. After entering the building, you need to take the elevator (on the left) to the reception on the 16th floor, which operates 24/7. They took a 100 HKD deposit. The room is very small. There are both European and American power outlets, a fan, and air conditioning. The room smelled of smoke, and at 170 cm tall, I barely fit in the bed, having to bend my legs while sleeping. The duvet cover smelled like a sour rag, and condensation constantly dripped from the air conditioner unit outside the window, making a very audible 'drip-drip-drip' sound in the room. There were also some small flies constantly in the room.

ClearhappydayThe hotel's location is excellent. It's just a short walk from the A21 airport bus stop, and you can easily catch the bus to the airport from right around the corner. It's right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, with the MTR station just a few steps away, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Victoria Harbour is also just a short stroll ahead.
The hotel owner, his wife, and the staff are all incredibly nice. I arrived early and, seeing how hot it was, decided to rest a bit before heading out. To my surprise, the front desk staff allowed me to check in early! Furthermore, when I was out on an errand and ended up checking out over an hour late, the owner was very understanding and kindly extended my check-out time. In a place like Hong Kong, where every inch is precious, this was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. The owner and staff are genuinely kind and humane, which is truly rare 🌹🌹.
The room was very clean, though a bit small, and had no strange odors. Plus, the outlets didn't require an adapter, which was super convenient for me as a traveler from mainland China, especially since I'd forgotten mine.
All in all, this is a hotel with a human touch, an exceptionally good location, and excellent cleanliness. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Thank you to the owner and staff!

Located in the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui area, this hotel offers a quiet escape. We were a party of three and booked a quad room, which was quite spacious and clean. The reception area is small but very cozy, equipped with tea bags, coffee, and hot and cold water. Downstairs, dining and getting around are incredibly convenient, with two subway entrances right outside. Across the street, about 100 meters ahead, there's a Haiphong Road wet market where you can find authentic local wonton noodles, pork chop rice, and fish balls, all very good. Especially recommended is Chung Kee, run by two elderly ladies – their beef brisket and fish balls are generously portioned, and the shrimp in their wontons are large and fresh. The hotel also has Vietnamese and Thai restaurants downstairs, all at fair prices. There's a mosque opposite and Kowloon Park nearby, perfect for a stroll.

The location is great- right in front of the Kowloon mosque which was great for us, indicating availability of halal food nearby. Within walking distance of the mtr, tourist attractions and shops (7e is right below). We took the Cityliner from the airport and got dropped off at the nearest stop which was great! Room was super tight, with small bathroom with a shower head right above the toilet. The toilet doors required some manoeuvring because it could close but was somewhat disconnected from each sliding panel (with evidence of some bugs stuck between the panels, I can understand, in rather hard to reach places).Otherwise, clean enough room and very quiet. Enough space under the beds to store luggage but otherwise, just enough space around the room for a single person to walk about, so we had to take turns and mostly sat on our beds. For very short stays, seems like a good place.

I've booked here many times. They clean thoroughly every day, so it's much cleaner than the other hostels I've stayed at here in Hong Kong.
There's water and a kettle available outside of the rooms.
While the owner and workers are quite accommodating, they only really speak Cantonese and Mandarin, so just be prepared for that.
