Ik heb eerder in een slaapzaal overnacht en verbleef deze keer in een privékamer. De kamer was goed uitgerust en erg comfortabel. De handdoeken en toiletartikelen waren een prettige bijkomstigheid. Het enige minpuntje was de rooklucht, terwijl het een rookvrije kamer was.

海樂馨的人真的超級好 和同寢室的新疆和成都的姐姐還有大黃和小灰一起去看了日出 還有一個小哥騎電動車帶我去澳角
老闆的人也超級好 表白老闆 第一天晚上我不會騎電動車 他借我單車騎 單車在半路壞了還開着摩託過來救我 路上給我推薦好吃的
第二天去澳角電動車沒電了還來送電池 後來又帶我去其他景點 我要走了還送我去附近的公交站
我原本預想是一個人冷冷清清地度過元旦假期 但是在這的經歷讓我感到受寵若驚

Nice little hostel, except for the rat in the room.
Good location near the Sanfang Qixiang district, a huge street food street and metro line.
Bed uncomfortable; just a thin mattress. Room had lockers and several plugs per bed. Great view from the window. Free washing machine in the room.
Nice common area and very social if you speak Chinese. Wifi okay, but it dropped out sometimes. Hot and warm drinking water available.
I saw a big rat in my room and rat poop on the bed above me (see picture) so they moved me to another room. Hopefully it's not a common thing.
It's super confusing to find: go around to the back side of the building (east side) and go to the ”lobby”. Take the elevator to the 7th floor. Turn right out of the elevator and then take another right, and go to the end of the hallway.

A place full of love! The best hostel I have ever been to (across Asia America and Europe)
Located in the ancient district of Quanzhou so convenient to go most of the spots
Holds a big lobby where has film screening and all kinds of activities every night
Welcoming front desk and I reaaaaaaaly like her. Brought me into the community and share me everything interesting about Quanzhou
Most of the volunteers there used to be the guests (proof for how lovely the community is!) and all thanks to Xinyue, Qiuqiu, Cici, Weiwei, Hongmei, A-Jun, Ms Lin, Bro Cong, and Sis Nan, such an unforgettable memory with you guys in Quanzhou!

Probably one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. There are two lovely cats, and the interior is designed to feel cozy and comfortable. Even though the mattresses on the lower bunks are placed directly on the floor, they’re surprisingly comfortable, not the extremely thin ones you often find in hostels. The room itself feels warm and inviting, and it’s quite spacious for 4 people. Having a semi-private shower and toilet inside the room (rather than sharing with the whole floor or hostel) was a big plus.
The location couldn’t be better, it's just a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. Right outside the hostel there’s a lively street full of food stalls and street vendors, so you could easily spend days exploring the area without needing to go far.
The only downside was that on one of the nights some guests checked in and started smoking in the room and bathroom, despite the no smoking signs. But that’s not the hostel’s fault, it really just depends on the neighbors you happen to get.

We verbleven twee nachten in een gewone mannenkamer voor acht personen. De kamer heeft een openbaar toilet en airconditioning. Slippers, vuilnisbakken en kluisjes zijn aanwezig. De bedden zijn netjes verzorgd. De kamer is schoon. Ook is er airconditioning in de woonkamer en zithoek, en er is ook een ”tap” ”Hakimi”, de algehele sfeer en sfeer zijn redelijk goed. Je kunt op zijn vroegst om 10 uur inchecken. Als je vroeg gaat en er is geen vacature, je kunt uitrusten en wachten in de woonkamer, of je bagage neerleggen en eerst gaan spelen. De wasmachine kost 5 yuan. Beneden is geen restaurant, dus je moet verder weg gaan eten.

Nice place with a very responding owner, never had to wait more than a minute to get a reply on WeChat. The place is hard to find but if you contact the owner on WeChat, he'll send you detailed instructions on how to find the place. The location is good, near a metro station and not far from the old French quarters. Many options for food just downstairs.

The hostel is located in front of the Railway station & metro station. So it's easy to find and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. What I don't like is there is no locker available in the room. So you can't keep the valuables with you & a safety concern. However can keep it with the reception but they don't open for 24 hours.

The people who run the place are super lovely and helpful. When I arrived I was welcomed right away with tea and later some snacks. And I got a detailed description of how to get to the nature park, complete with buses and everything, customized to the length of my stay. Even if I can't speak Chinese, the people were super nice and always tried to help.
My room was comfy, usually quiet and clean. I had a nice view towards the pond area and while the hostel is located a bit further from the City center, you can go there super quick by taking the bus, where the station is just a short walk from the hostel.
The bathroom however was not super clean, but it worked for me and I really enjoyed my stay and even extanded it by two nights.

1. The environment is nice, very clean, and quiet. Everyone is very considerate; the doors are spring-loaded, so they close slowly and quietly. The room doors don't quite close all the way on their own, so you need to give them a gentle push, which might make a slight sound. There are also common areas for eating takeout and chatting, as eating is not allowed in the rooms and strong-smelling food isn't allowed in common areas.
2. The facilities are excellent, with plenty of showers and toilets. There are also about four hairdryers, and a makeup area not only with stools but also hangers, shower caps, bath towels, cotton swabs, and makeup remover wipes – very thoughtful.
3. The service is very responsive; when you arrive, they'll show you to your room and explain the layout.
4. In terms of cleanliness, the rooms are cleaned almost daily by staff, and the showers and toilets are cleaned every day. There's always plenty of toilet paper, so no worries there.
5. For transportation, there are BRT and bus stops nearby, which is very convenient.
6. A quick note: if you're staying for two days or more, there's a laundry area with a washing machine and detergent pods, as well as a place to hang clothes to dry, so you can bring extra outfits. Also, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and cup. Toothbrushes are available at the front desk for about 2 yuan each.
The only downsides are that the pillows are too high and uncomfortable, and the disinfectant smell in the bathrooms and showers is very strong, making them feel a bit stuffy and not well-ventilated. Also, the drying area is not separated by gender.

XXingxinglingThe environment is nice, though it's a bit hard to spot for first-timers, hahaha. It was drizzling, and I almost walked too far (it's actually on a street in P1).
They were very considerate of those who came home late or woke up early and needed to shower and blow-dry their hair, which was great! Personally, I'm a night owl, so I'd sit at the table outside the room for a long time to rest. In the early morning, one of the two cats was particularly eager to be petted—so adorable!
The quadruple room was quite small, and since I had a short and busy trip, I stayed on the lower bunk. The bed was absolutely perfect—clean and comfortable. Unpacking your suitcase in the room inevitably makes noise, so when I left, I put it on the small balcony outside the door to pack everything. The locker provided, which opens with the room card, was also quite noisy, so I didn't use it much (sweat).
When I checked in, they added the youth hostel on WeChat and sent me a lot of anti-fraud information and other Xiamen-related information. I went to a satay noodle shop recommended by the youth hostel, and it was delicious! It’s not sky-high priced. I bought it for a little over 22 yuan on Dianping.com, and after having plenty of toppings and refills on the noodles, I was very full.

GGuest UserThe room for 4 people was not noisy, and the boss was very nice. Xiang introduced in detail how to travel, the surroundings of the hotel, restaurants, how to travel by bus, how to go to scenic spots, how to take the train, and how to take the bus. I took the Wuyishan bus for free when I traveled. , regardless of locals, foreigners, adults and senior citizens, free of charge.

Of course, you meet some rather…peculiar people.
The owner of the shoes was even more difficult and 'flavorful' than her shoes.
Let's call her – The Upstairs Bunk Double-Standard Dorm Monitor, and here's the story:
“I arrived at the hostel a little after 11 PM. After my upstairs bunkmate and I both finished showering, we returned to our respective beds. I immediately started organizing the contents of my backpack, which were simple: clothes and disposable toiletries. The whole process took less than five minutes, but during this time, my bunkmate started making various impatient noises, expressing her displeasure with ‘you’re too loud’ and other small actions and sounds. I immediately put down what I was doing and lay down. Even then, she continued to toss and turn and grumble from above.
To be honest, the car noises from outside the window and other people showering in the bathroom were much louder than any sound I made. Even after midnight, someone in the room made a phone call with their ringer on, and I didn't see her being so 'righteous' then (though I can't rule out the possibility that she was the one making the noise, as I really couldn't tell the difference). What's even funnier is that after she 'reminded' me, she herself was watching videos and laughing…
Even funnier than her herself is that the Upstairs Bunk Double-Standard Dorm Monitor started her noisy ruckus the next morning around 6 AM. Her entire morning routine lasted twenty minutes, and the scene could be described as incredibly lively. Perhaps the Upstairs Bunk Double-Standard Dorm Monitor had a more important future to rush to, so she couldn't bother with her own double standards 🥹

GGuest UserThe room is quite decent, with a large balcony, which is convenient for drying the air and enjoying tea. However, there are still mosquitoes in this season. The hotel is in a very good location, next to Impression Dahongpao and Tea Expo. The starting price of a taxi to the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. The room rate does not include breakfast, but you can order breakfast with the boss one night in advance. Wontons and pies (shredded radish, pickles) are recommended. The store also sells tea, and they gave away a small pack of Dahongpao. There are tea sets in the room, and they also remind you that tea made with mineral water tastes better :)

AAnonymous UserThere are many single-family villa hotels on Gulangyu Island, each with its own courtyard, which is very cozy. There's a teahouse and a swing in the courtyard, which the children love. The house is only two or three stories high and there's no elevator, but the owner will help with luggage. However, there's no ferry service, so you'll need to get to the hotel yourself. Fortunately, this hotel is close to Sanqiutian Pier, only a few minutes away. It's located behind the Athena Bar, and finding it can be difficult for a first-time visitor. I spent a while searching, but one side of the road was blocked and the door was locked, so I had to walk through the bar.
The room was reasonably priced, and it had a window overlooking another villa hotel. While you can't see the sea or hear the piano, you can still hear the bar's resident singers at night. The tatami mats are against the wall, making it comfortable for children to sleep on. Other amenities are quite complete and clean.
There's a public washing machine, so you can wash clothes there. The owner also provides a drying rack for hanging clothes in the courtyard on sunny days or in the room if it rains. The boss is pretty good, very kind and responsive.

GGuest UserThis is the cleanest and most cost-effective B&B I have ever stayed in. The landlady is very beautiful. She is a Shanghai girl. The restaurants she recommends are delicious. I highly recommend this B&B. I stayed for two nights. It is very quiet and comfortable. The surrounding area Wherever I go, a family can buy an electric three-wheeler for only 10 yuan. Didi is also cheap, just a few yuan. The owner decorated the B&B with great care. When we finally left, we couldn't bear to get it dirty. The two families traveling with us both expressed that they were very happy staying there. I will recommend it to my friends next time they come.

XxxxjiayyyI'll definitely come back to Hai Le Xin! I came to Dongshan Island on a whim, but I met some wonderful people. I originally planned to stay only two days, but the atmosphere was so wonderful I stayed four! I told my friends that my few days here were more fulfilling than my freshman semester. There's the incredibly active Boss Ye, who calls me ”sister” every day and organizes activities for us to watch the sunrise. There's Director Pan, who taught me how to swim and play the electronic organ. There's the chef, who takes me swimming and gives me massages. There's Sister Ting, who takes me to the beach and treats me to beef ball noodles. There's Sister Yan, who noisily feeds me rice cakes. There's Jianhui, who thinks women can slow down driving. There's the drunkard who drinks Budweiser. There's also Boss Yang, who plays the piano next door. It's a lovely bunch! And Director Huang and Director Zhu! As Boss Ye said, it's not the sunrise that's romantic, it's the people at Hai Le Xin. It's a bit of a shame that I promised the chef to stay for dinner on the last day before leaving, but I left early. My time at Hai Le Xin was the happiest time of my summer vacation, besides the Ten Qintian concert in Nanchang. Finally, I wish everyone a happy day, fewer worries, and a good night's sleep! I wish Hai Le Xin will prosper and become bigger and stronger! I wish the boss a prosperous business, abundant wealth, and more and more handsome!
