Vandaag heb ik een boomhut geboekt in de West Zone van de Sandy Tribe in het Sandy Safari Park. Ik checkte om 9:30 uur in bij de receptie van het Sandy Hotel en na gezichtsherkenning kreeg ik onbeperkte toegang tot het Safari Park en Ice and Snow World voor twee dagen, evenals onbeperkt gebruik van de shuttlebus van het hotel. We gingen eerst naar het Sandy Safari Park, omdat dat om 17:00 uur sluit. Ice and Snow World sluit om 18:00 uur en Ocean World blijft open tot 20:00 uur. We namen eerst de Sandy Safari Train door het gedeelte waar je met de auto doorheen rijdt. Daarna namen we een sightseeingbus langs het wandelgebied met twaalf haltes. We keken naar de zeeleeuwenshow en deden mee aan een aantal interactieve activiteiten met de dieren. Om 14:00 uur kregen we VIP-plaatsen voor de voorstelling van het Internationale Circus, helemaal in het midden van de eerste rij. De meeste vrouwelijke artiesten waren Russisch en veel van de mannelijke artiesten hadden een donkere huidskleur, zoals Filipino's. Er was circus, dans en magie. Tijdens de interactieve activiteiten werd ik zelfs op mijn arm aangeraakt door Sun Wukong (de Apenkoning) en kreeg ik een ballon van een clown. Na het circus gingen we de rode panda's, Thaise olifanten, reuzenpanda's en langstaartmakaken bekijken. De dierverzorgers gaven de langstaartmakaken verschillende soorten fruit, waaronder wortels, appels, bananen en druiven – de apen hebben zo'n gevarieerd dieet! De tijd vloog! Het was al 17:00 uur, dus gingen we inchecken. Er is een gratis pendelbus voor gasten die hen naar de lobby van het hotel in elk gebied brengt. Omdat Dream Island en Sandy Village volgeboekt waren, konden we alleen een boomhut in West Village krijgen. Vanaf het terras buiten de boomhut hadden we uitzicht op een uitgestrekte grasvlakte. Giraffen en zebra's worden 's avonds teruggebracht, terwijl kamelen en alpaca's vrij rondlopen. Daarna gingen we naar het ijs- en sneeuwpark. Helmen en donsjassen waren gratis verkrijgbaar bij de ingang. Binnen waren er ijsglijbanen, een ijscarrousel, een pinguïnhuis, ijssculpturen en nog veel meer. De mollige pinguïns waren zo schattig! Omdat het om 18:00 uur sluit, hadden we maar even de tijd voordat we naar buiten werden geleid. Alleen het Ocean Park was op dat moment open. We liepen door de onderwatertunnel en keken naar de zeemeerminnenshow. Na de Flying Bus, de carrousel, de botsauto's en het 3D-reuzenrad waren er nog zoveel dingen die ik niet goed heb kunnen bekijken. Net toen ik dacht dat ik eindelijk de tijd had om alles rustig te bekijken, was het sluitingstijd en moest ik terug naar het hotel. Nu het Sandy Safari Park en het Sandy Ice and Snow Ocean Park zijn samengevoegd, heb je zeker twee dagen nodig om alles te verkennen. Morgen wil ik de dieren in de dierentuin beter bekijken en de shows inhalen die ik vandaag heb gemist. Ik wil ook de shows en de verschillende tentoonstellingen met zeedieren in het Ice and Snow Ocean Park zien en een ritje maken in het reuzenrad.

Our stay was extraordinary. Really, truly.😊We felt welcomed and very well taken care of. The hosts have helped us with our luggages, made sure our room was clean, well stocked, etc. The place is really nice, the location simply fabulous, but my favourite of all: the hosts ~ amazing people, smiling, kind, patient. They have made our stay great. Totally recommend. We will definitely stay here again with other family members. P.s. Foreigner friendly. 😊🤍

This hotel is exactly like the other reviews: old, poor soundproof, hard beds, but really well located. However, the room I booked was way too noisy: I think it was next to the street because I could hear people shouting late at night and in the morning. I could hear them way too well, even though there was no window in the room. It was that bad that I asked to change rooms. Fortunately we got upgraded to another room for free. This one was on the second floor, I could finally sleep and get some rest in peace, but if people passed by talking, I could still hear them. At least not a lot of people passed by. The rest is OK, as you can see in the pictures. Beds could be softer for a hotel, but for the price I paid, I won’t complain. The hotel is at first hard to find because its entrance is in a small lane, but conveniently located near Dongguan and Pishi streets, as well as Ge and Ho gardens (approx. 20 mins walking each).

I just wrapped up a 3-day trip to Nanjing and stayed at this premium king room, and it was easily one of my favorite accommodations in recent months! The first thing that blew me away was the floor-to-ceiling windows—when I pulled back the curtains each morning, I was greeted with a stunning view of Nanjing's skyline. Even on the rainy day I was there, the misty cityscape felt so peaceful and atmospheric, it was the perfect way to start my day. The bed was incredibly comfortable; the linens were soft, crisp, and clean, and after spending all day walking around the city exploring, I slept like a log every night. The little thoughtful touches really made a difference: the round vanity mirror with warm, dimmable lighting was perfect for doing my makeup in the morning, and I was so relieved to find a hair dryer neatly packed in a cute linen bag in the drawer—I’d completely forgotten to bring my own, so that was a total lifesaver. The room was spacious and well-designed, with a small table that was perfect for setting down my takeout snacks and drinks from the nearby shops. The location was also unbeatable—it’s just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, so I could easily get to Xinjiekou for shopping and trying local food, and the neighborhood felt safe even when I came back late at night after exploring the night markets. The host was also really kind and responsive; they sent me detailed check-in instructions before my arrival and replied quickly when I had a small question about the room’s amenities. I already recommended this place to my friends who are planning a trip to Nanjing, and I definitely plan to book this room again when I come back to explore more of the city!

This hotel is located in Dongguan Street just a short 2 minute walk from the taxi drop off. The staff gave us a warm welcome and told us we had our room upgraded which was a lovely surprise. The room was spaceous and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and large screen TV. The under floor heating system was very good in the evenings as the temperature dropped. The bathroom itself was also very well appointed with a good size bath tub as well as a rain shower and plenty of hot water available at all times. The staff were lovely throughout the whole complex and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was plentiful and had many local varieties of food available. There is also a coffee shop on site which makes great quality flat white! I can highly recommend staying at this hotel as it is literally in Dongguan street and also just across the road from Pishi street. As a western guest I felt very comfortable at this hotel and would definitely visit again.

來南京玩住了兩天，整體很滿意，給錦上民宿點個好評 衞生： 房間打掃得很乾凈，床品和衞生間都沒有頭髮或者水漬，住着放心。 服務： 雖然是網上聯繫，但回覆很快。入住指引很詳細，還主動發了周邊美食攻略，很貼心。 交通： 位置確實方便，就在上海路地鐵站旁邊，去新街口就是一條直路，走路就到，到夫子廟明孝陵坐地鐵也很快。 下次來南京還會考慮住這兒，也給準備訂這家的小夥伴做個參考。

The housekeeper is warm and thoughtful, the room is spacious and bright, the disposable toiletries are complete, the cleanliness is impeccable, very clean, very clean, and the important thing is said three times! It only takes two minutes to walk to the scenic spot, and parking is very convenient. There are occasional monkeys playing in the mountains, which adds wild fun to the journey. The overall experience is comfortable and worry-free, and it is worth recommending to all travelers.

Cleaning service should be improved. When you arrive in the room it is clear that they do not deep clean between one client and the other, cause the floors are not clean, there is dust, spider webs and there is heavy dirt in the corners of the room and behind the bathroom. Prp: the bed of the room I got was very comfy and soft. The room had a closet to store my clothes, and a big desk that was very convenient for me. The area around the building is very lively with a lot of restaurants and it's quite near the subway and train station (walking distance around 10-15 min). Cons:They should decide if they want you to provide an apartment or hotel service, they are not very clear what their aim is since they don't provide hotel service for short stays (like daily cleaning, they only take the rubbish but don't cleam bathroom and floors) but not even apartment service for longer stays (such as dish soap or a pot to cook, or things to clean the apartment on your own). They provide kitchen and washing machine with no cleaning products or kitchen appliances, not even soap to wash the mugs they provide (that were dirty). The people who work at the reception are friendly but completely disorganised. The first day I was locked out three times from my room cause they could not provide me with a proper keycode and finally gave me a key which I had to sit on the floor to open each time cause it was the emergency key of the electronic dial thing that there is on the door. One day I came back and the cleaning lady took out my electricity card even if I had food in the fridge that could have gone bad. They said that I should not use electricity and the A/C too much otherwise I should have paid more. They never stated this nor on the website or in person. After not providing me with good service, theh repeatedly asked me to give them good reviews and send them a screenshot of a 5 stars review, instead of asking me how to improve their service. Overall, when I booked the price was worth it but I would not book it again now that the price is more expensive.

De locatie van het hotel is erg goed. Het is rustig midden in de drukte. Het is erg rustig aan de rivierkant en het is handig om overal naartoe te gaan! De winkelier was erg enthousiast. Hij kwam ons ophalen bij de poort van de schilderachtige plek, hielp ons onze bagage naar de kamer te brengen en hielp ons deze naar beneden te brengen toen we vertrokken. Hij vertelde ons ook plaatsen die we niet mochten missen om te eten en te drinken en plezier maken. De kamer was hetzelfde als de foto in de promotie! Vanwege het warme weer heeft de winkelier zelfs de airconditioning voor ons aangezet voordat we aankwamen. We zullen de volgende keer in dit hotel verblijven.

We really liked that the boutique hotel is tucked in a quiet alley leading to the busy and bustling Ping Jiang street, which is just a minute walk away (Guan Qian street is just a 15 minute stroll away from the boutique hotel). The hotel is an oasis after a day of jostling with the crowd. It wasn't far off from the Suzhou railway station, for those of you who are coming from Shanghai. A heritage hotel with a rather state-of-the-art technology (including a heated bidet toilet bowl and an effective and functioning heater), it made for a very comfortable stay. What made it even better is that the hotel offers a very personal touch. We enjoyed the hearty and healthy breakfast (porridge, seasonal fruits, beverage, Suzhou pastries, steamed sweet potato/pumpkin/corn). Every afternoon, we were spoilt with a tray of fruits (Mandarin oranges, plum, fig, apple jujube, longan, grapes) and they served warm Chinese dessert every night - a perfect way to end the day. We were also blessed to have Miss Zhao who answered all our queries along the way, and even helped us book tickets after realising that we didn't have a local phone number to book some of the places of attraction. For international travellers who can't speak Mandarin and are worried - Google translate/WeChat translation is reliable. The hotel also offers an English menu for the breakfast in case you are worried.
