The hostel is right by the sea, but the beach isn't really suitable for swimming due to the cleanliness of the water. To the historical city center it is under half an hour by foot. Here also the boat tours to better beaches depart. A small supermarket for the necessary conveniences is nearby.
The pool of the hostel is well maintained and a nice cool off for hot days. The rooms have a good size and are at a good price. The only thing that confused us was that we did not get new soap after 5 days we got by on very small soap bars.

Pensjonat położony trochę daleko od centrum, ale jest tam cisza i spokój. Łóżko jest wygodne, klimatyzacja i lodówka działają, w łazience jest ciepła woda pod prysznicem, ale kratka odpływowa jest niebezpiecznie wygięta, tak że można sobie skaleczyc nogę biorąc prysznic. Śniadanie proste, ale świeże, brakowało jednak czegoś na ciepło ( jajecznica lub parówki). Trudno się porozumieć, gdyż tylko jedna osoba mówi po angielsku. Sprzątanie pokoju na życzenie. Najgorszą rzeczą jest połączenie z internetem, co chwilę połączenie WiFi się zrywa, jak również nie da się oglądać telewizji, gdyż tak samo wyłączają się programy. Prawdopodobnie telewizja działa dzięki internetowi. Internet koniecznie do poprawy.

Bem localizado, bem organizado, ótimo atendimento, os quartos são muito apertados, o meu não tinha ventilador e outros tinham, isso fez falta durante o dia por conta da dificuldade de ligar o ar condicionado.
Limpeza deixou a desejar um pouco, instalações da cama estavam empoeiradas e em baixo também. Da impressão que fazia um tempinho que não tinha uma faxina.

Het hostel is goed gelegen, dicht bij het historische centrum, en het ontbijt kost R$30. De sfeer is geweldig en ik heb een leuk en levendig publiek ontmoet. Er verbleven reizigers van verschillende nationaliteiten.

Met een verblijf bij Hostel a Coroa in Arraial do Cabo, bevind je je vlak bij het strand, op slechts 5 min. lopen van Almirante Paulo Moreira Institute of Ocean Studies en op 7 min. lopen van Anjos Beach. Dit hostel ligt op 4,6 km van Praia do Pontal en op 13,8 km van Forte-strand.
Loop vooral de recreatieve voorzieningen zoals een buitenzwembad en fietsenverhuur niet mis. Andere kenmerken van dit hostel zijn gratis wifi, conciërgeservices en een spelletjesruimte.
Sluit je dag af met een drankje in een bar/lounge. Dagelijks kun je tegen betaling genieten van een lekker ontbijt voor onderweg, dat geserveerd wordt van 08.00 uur tot 10.00 uur.

Gostei muito do ambiente do hostel. Apesar dos quartos compartilhados não terem muito espaço, sua cama tem o espaço adequado. Só recomendo melhorar a limpeza dos banheiros masculinos.

BBDoraDaisy is the best! She should get a raise for her hospitality and service. I felt safe as a solo female traveler, the location is also near the beach, safe and worry free. Room is spacious and clean! 10/10

JJohn PershinOne of the best hostels in Rio, great central area Flamengo, close to the ocean, beach, lots of shops! Incredibly beautiful villa in Portuguese style, great breakfast! After this area moved to Copacabana area to another hostel and really regretted it!

CChristopherA lovely enclave in a quieter part of town, about 3.5km from the city center though walking distance to the beach and a few nice spots for a drink or meal.
The hosts are delightful, friendly, and helpful, they will go out of their way to help you and to make the most of your visit.
The garden is beautiful and the breakfast is fresh and filling. The accommodations are nice, not luxurious though clean and comfortable.
I would happily stay again if I returned to Paraty.

GGuest UserFomos muito bem atendidos na recepção, a localização da Pousada é ótima, bem na saida da Ponte que vai pro Centro Histórico. O quarto tem um tamanho bom, no entanto, achei o banheiro muito pequeno....o que é um pouco incomodo.... O café da manhã estava bom, com o básico, porém tudo muito gostoso e muito bem apresentável.....No geral foi uma boa estadia.

AAnonymous UserThe El Misti staff were incredibly fun, welcoming, spoke great English and provided lots of activities, free and paid. If you have no itinerary, know no-one and are unsure about coming here, please forget your troubles. You can eat, sleep well and do Rio on autopilot in a safe, walkable neighborhood accompanied by a pretty smile.

No kichen facilities, but a fridge and a kettle are available. Such friendly staff! Construction going on at present but they are very considerate. The pictures are the view from the balcony of the ladies dorm.

MMatias PresentadoQuand j’avais réservé pour cet auberge, j’ai eu très peur au vu des avis. Mais en réalité, tout s’est bien passé. Les dortoirs étaient correct, le petit déjeuner satisfaisant, et le staff très accueillant. Ils proposent souvent des excursions pour visiter la ville et le soir, des sorties dans des bars festifs. Le seul point négatif serait l’hygiène et la propreté qui pourrait être mieux.

6666manfenWalking to the beach for ten minutes, it is actually less than 1,000 meters because there is a slope but the downhill is fast. The nearby residents belong to the poor. There are more motorcycles. There is a small shop at the entrance of the hotel. It is safe to swipe credit cards. It is not safe to come out at night, but foreigners go out to play in the middle of the night! The balcony of the room is very good. The roof looks at the sea. The breakfast is rich in fruit. The egg kitchen can be cooked. The price is good! Hygiene can be cleaned every day.
