I stayed here for 2 weeks, and I enjoyed myself immensely! I mostly keep to myself and don’t go out, as I was just here to relax and unwind. However I felt very safe and comfortable with my stay. The room is clean and smells amazing! There was a cute glass balcony which was pleasant as I could step out a bit and enjoy the great weather. The bathroom was stocked, I had a good selection of teas and coffees. I was very satisfied and impressed with my room selection. Although I think next time I will choose the apartment hotel since I always bought my own food 😄. They have a free shuttle to and from Nelson Mandela Square every hour which I utilized. They have a pool which I could see from my balcony and a gym that was opposite my room, however I did not utilize either of those facilities. All the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place

This was our second time staying at this hotel because it’s so conveniently located, and we had another wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable atmosphere for our stay. The beds were especially cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep.
One of the highlights is still the complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which runs every 15 minutes and is very punctual. It made our travel to the airport hassle-free.
Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, and attentive staff.

Perfect layover hotel, so close to terminal A, only about 8 minutes in the free shuttle they provided the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Dinner was really good, especially the springbok carpaccio!
I’d recommend it to anyone needing to be near the airport.

Het hotel ligt op een zeer goede locatie, gelegen in de wijk Sandton, op slechts 700 meter loopafstand van het bruisende Mandela-plein in het stadscentrum. De kamer is ook erg ruim en goed uitgerust. Het uitzicht is erg goed tijdens een verblijf op de 15e verdieping. Je kunt elke ochtend de zonsopgang bekijken en veel foto's maken het personeel heeft een goede servicegerichtheid. Hoge kostenprestaties en het aanbevelen waard

It was great to stay!
Very comfortable, clean and spacious than I expected. Especially, the breakfast was amazing. Had many options to take than I thought. Hot and cold foods and different kinds of cheese, breads, jams and even smoked salmon sashimi!
Also, they have upgraded my room into king bed room. The room was clean and big enough. Amenities were soap, body lotion and 3 in 1 bodywash(+shampoo and conditioner).
If you want to stay quiet room, I would recommend the 1st floor.
The parking in the basement made me feel more safe.
Definitely I'll recommend to others and will come back!

Hotel is close to the Airport, within walking distance. Rooms are fairly clean, good for a layover stay
Negatives:
We checked-in around 2am due to a late flight and was encountered by one of the rudest receptionist in all our travels. Examples include:
- No greetings when we arrive
- Throughout the check-in process, barely said a word (with exception of last point)
- Unable to find our booking because she
used the wrong check-in date, but did not apologise
- When she passed us 2 keys, we assumed the check-in process were completed for 2 rooms and moved towards the room. In her words, she said “Friend, where do you think you guys are going? We are not done yet”

My husband arrived early at the hotel (7am) , tired and exhausted after a long flight and staff were not helpful with getting him into the room atleast a little earlier than the check-in time or offered any other available room , he was told to wait until 2pm to check into his room .
Also , he asked for a halal meal when calling room service and they just told him they don’t have anything , instead of offering an alternative .
I really hope that in future , the service of this hotel would be more helpful .

It's a very fancy hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's super clean. The room is spacious and has an air-conditioner. It's got food and drink available even late in the night via room service.

The Mint Hotel 84 gets the basics right with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly service staff. My room was a standard double with a queen bed, it had everything I needed including a desk, coffee maker, and good water pressure in the shower. The bed was fairly comfortable and the room was cleaned promptly every day. The breakfast spread in the dining area had a variety of options including cereals, toast, fruit, pastries, and eggs. The food was of average quality and freshness, nothing exceptional but sufficient to start the day. The service staff at the front desk and concierge were pleasant, helpful, and efficient whenever I had questions. They provided recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel has an outdoor pool and fitness centre, although I did not use the fitness centre during my stay. The hallways and public areas were well maintained and clean. Overall, the Mint Hotel 84 provides good, no-frills accommodations in a convenient location for exploring Katherine. The price point is fair for the quality you get, making it a solid choice for standard business or leisure travel.

VVeleI had the best time just relaxing at the hotel . The staff were very friendly and because it was my birthday they upgraded my room and gave me free breakfast . I had an amazing time and I can’t wait to go back . Room services was also really great and the views were amazing .

TTheAmazinGraceThe room was different from the picture that showed kitchen and couch in a separate room. Smaller room than you can think. And there was no slippers. But it was clean and convenient enough to stay. The facilities such as 24 hours of gym, not mandatory to wear swim suit in a pool plus hot zacuzzi were great.

Near Airport. Goto Bus Terminal to board the free shuttle from airport to hotel. Was served welcome drinks and luggage storage upon arrival. The hotel rooms are refreshed, newly painted. Comfortable beddings. We took the paid shuttle to and fro to the nearby mall while waiting to check in. Timing was great.

GGuest UserThe Courtyard Hotel was a great place to stay during our time in Johannesburg. We booked the suite for 4 people and there was plenty of space for all of us to keep our stuff and even a small kitchenette. There was round the clock security and a gate which made us feel safe and secure. In addition the staff was very helpful and attentive.

Very Good
Excellent stay at the Southern Sun in Rosebank. From the reception to the check-in, to the installation in the room, everything went very well. The staff (maintenance, bar, restaurant, reception and security) all worked with a smile. The room was very well equipped and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and very varied. The restaurant had excellent food and very good wine. A special thought to the staff who opened the gate at the back of the hotel every day for us, making it easier for us to leave for the Rosebank lung. The swimming pool, although cool, was always welcome at the end of the day. Even if some minor work was underway in the hotel, we were never inconvenienced. We will definitely be back. A big congratulations to the hotel and all its staff. We will definitely be back.
