Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency Kuantan, especially the ambience and hospitality. However, there are a few areas that require attention. Cons / Areas for Improvement: 1. Water pressure was quite slow, especially for the shower. When turned to hot water, the pressure increased, but once switched to cold, it became extremely weak. 2. There was water maintenance work happening during our stay. Although the hotel assured that everything was under control, it did affect our comfort while on holiday. 3. We noticed a small clump of dust on the floor. While it was minor, as we were staying with a 2-year-old toddler, it raised concerns as children tend to put things into their mouth. Housekeeping may need to be more thorough. 4. There should be better control of wild monkeys, especially around the parking area. I was chased and nearly bitten, which was quite frightening and unsafe for guests. Pros / What We Appreciate: 1. Excellent service recovery — I forgot to disable the “Do Not Disturb” sign but informed the front desk to clean the room. The housekeeping staff called first to ask for permission before entering, which shows professionalism and true 5-star service standards. 2. The hotel’s surroundings are beautiful, clean, and very calming — truly breathtaking. 3. The beach is very clean and conveniently located right next to the hotel. 4. Large swimming pools (two pools available), so it never felt crowded. 5. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Conclusion: Hyatt Regency Kuantan has great potential with its beautiful location, facilities, and outstanding staff. With improvements in water system management, housekeeping checks, and wildlife control, the overall guest experience would be even better.

Dit hotel overtrof mijn verwachtingen. De kamer was schoon, ruim en goed onderhouden. Het personeel was vriendelijk, behulpzaam en begroette me altijd met een glimlach. De locatie is strategisch, dicht bij Kuantan City en het strand. Er zijn genoeg goede eetgelegenheden in de buurt, die een verscheidenheid aan lokale en internationale gerechten bieden. Het hotel biedt alle voorzieningen, wat zorgt voor een comfortabel verblijf. Ik waardeerde de doordachte details zoals de sajadah in de tv-kast, waardoor het moslimvriendelijk is. De wifi-verbinding was stabiel en snel, wat perfect was voor werk en entertainment. De schoonmaak was efficiënt en hield de kamer tijdens mijn verblijf brandschoon. Parkeren was handig en gemakkelijk toegankelijk. De lobby van het hotel was gastvrij, met een aangename ambiance. Het in- en uitchecken verliep soepel en probleemloos. Het bed was comfortabel, waardoor ik heerlijk kon slapen. De airconditioning werkte perfect, waardoor de kamer koel bleef. De badkamer was schoon, met een goede waterdruk en warm water. De toiletartikelen waren van goede kwaliteit. Het hotel had ook een gebedsruimte, wat een geweldige toevoeging was voor moslimgasten. Het ontbijt was redelijk, met een mix van lokale en continentale opties. Over het algemeen is dit hotel een geweldige keuze voor reizigers die op zoek zijn naar comfort, gemak en goede service. Ik zou hier in de toekomst zeker weer verblijven.

Het hotel en onze kamer waren geweldig. Maar het was totaal anders dan vóór de MCO. Er is geen zwembad/spelletjes/karaokeruimte meer, geen gratis massage en spa meer, geen butlerservice meer bij het ontbijt. Ook was er vroeger zelfs 's nachts een pendeldienst tussen Colmar Tropical-The Chateau, maar nu geen nachtdienst meer en waren we doorweekt van de regen. De Rabbit Farm & Organic Farm waren gesloten tijdens ons verblijf daar, we weten niet zeker of het permanent of slechts tijdelijk is

Great location which just in fromt of East Coast Mall. The room is nice, comfortable and spacious to stay. I stayed here during Ramadhan, so it’s easy to get food for Iftar at the shopping mall. The hotel also provide Sahur with variety of foods. However, the room can be improved especially in the toilet which got some black stains. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and will repeat again.

The hotel is located right next to the beach, offering a relaxing resort atmosphere. It has been refurbished, so everything feels modern and comfortable. The service from the staff is excellent, making the stay even more pleasant. There are also plenty of food options nearby, so you don’t have to travel far to find something to eat. Free parking is available, and valet service is also offered starting from RM68 per day for cars and RM48 per day for motorcycles. The swimming pool is clean and comfortable, though proper swimwear is required. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it for a relaxing beachside getaway.

The apartment was very clean and well managed by the operator. Apartment is still new and spacious. Check in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The only issue that we faced was the jacuzzi at the balcony. My child was waiting to enjoy it but it wasn't working. It can't heat the water, thus the water was too cold for my child. Operator was very responsive, brought the technician to try to fix but unfortunately, it can't be fixed. One more thing to note is that it took us about 20min, slight uphill walk to reach Sky Avenue. Overall its a nice stay, operator was very responsive.

Good value for facilities, location and size of unit. Some maintenance issues, broken trim, chipped mug, Microwave and washing machine are perfect for the longer stay. Biggest complaint was being stuck at the property's security gate, with the car obstruction everybody else for nearly 15 minutes because there was no earlier instruction from Trip.com or Timurbay about the need to obtain a QR code via WhatsApp just to be able to enter the compound to register on arrival. This is a deal-breaker and certainly not a good way to begin a holiday. The security guard was working overtime to clear the other people with the same issue as me, so there is definitely a flaw in the system somewhere.

Fast process for check in.. Clean rooms. Requested room to be at the same level, as we had a brother with limited disability but not granted. Requested rooms with nice view but we got 2 suites facing construction site. Expected both rooms had bath tubs but only suites with 2 rooms had it. Jacuzzi not functioning for hot tap. Husband whatsapp to the given no, but no reply. I called the room service by myself but was given info that need up to 4 hours to get heated. We waited with hopes, but not functioning. My husband called up, and said will send the management team but somehow did not turn up until checked out. So, NO POINT OF HAVING JACUZZI IF THE HOT TAP WATER IS NOT FUNCTIONING. Many playgrounds. Even we had one at level 21, however, so dusty. The indoor playground only has 1 slides and foosball. No other attraction inside. As for arcade, we paid to play Air hockey table for nothing! Indoor swimming pool with heated water and outdoor playground were good. The sauna was not up to par. Not heated regardless of how much water we poured on. Not so many halal outlets for Muslim at the mall. Conclusion: Will not repeat.

It's a wonderful place to stay with family. Our family stayed in this premium 3 bedroom during this trip. Living room is spacious and there is water dispenser provided in the apartment too. Bedroom size is good as well. Our room comes with Jacuzzi at the balcony too, but we didn't have time to try it out.  Location wise is about 15 mins walk up to the Sky Avenue. It's easier to walk down than to walk up due to the up slope, especially if you are travelling with old folks.. hence, we took a grab up everytime. It's about 5 mins drive from the apartment lobby. Also during our stay, it's their peak season, hence there is no shuttle service, but non peak season, they will have shuttle service up to Firat World Hotel. Their breakfast is not something to shoutout and it's kinda same everyday. They start breakfast at only 8am, if you are there late, there might not be seats available as the area for breakfast is quite small and food might also run out too.  Since it's an Air BnB apartment, they don't do housekeeping for you, however, something nice is they can change your towels and clear the rubbish upon request. Hence, remember to call the reception to request for this. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. My children enjoyed their trampoline room. Wanted to try out their bowling but it's under maintenance. There are also a few convenience shops at the ground floor, we can still grab something if we are hungry or thirsty at night. Take note only 1 is 24hr,  the rest of the shops closes at 10pm. Hopefully the apartment management can improve on their breakfast spread and area for dinning. Also hope to see more shops or restaurants opening in this area next time.  Will be back again.

Dit is mijn eerste keer dat ik in dit hotel verblijf, en ik krijg perfecte cijfers voor de netheid, faciliteiten, locatie en de houding van het personeel. Ik had veel geluk op de dag dat ik incheckte. Het Opperste Staatshoofd heeft op dezelfde dag ook in dit hotel ingecheckt.
