My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Toyama was excellent from start to finish. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well maintained. Its location is extremely convenient, only a few minutes’ walk from Toyama Station, which made traveling around the city and nearby areas very easy. The room was thoughtfully designed, clean, and comfortable. Despite being in the city center, it was quiet at night and I had a very good rest. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable after a long day of traveling. The service was also outstanding. The staff were polite, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and the signature warm DoubleTree cookie on arrival was a lovely touch that made the experience even more memorable. Overall, this is a great hotel choice in Toyama. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Very close to toyama station (just a few minutes ride) good choice if you are going to the alpine the next day With onsen but the water is not hot enough The hotel is a bit old but clean Meals are nice

HHayesJsI impulsively decided to go to Tateyama but hadn't done enough research, and ended up being turned away. So I stayed here that night. Afterwards, it was just me and another group of Japanese guests. It's a very nice hotel. Aside from a slightly Showa-era feel, there's nothing to complain about. Parking is free, the breakfast is plentiful, and the large public bath is very comfortable. It's worth mentioning that there might be bears near the hotel at night, so don't go out alone.
