Hotels met Gym in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan

The room is clean, quite spacious in a Japanese standard (I stayed with the one in Tokyo in the same group and this is much better) sadly they don’t have onsen or public bath which is a bit disappointing. But the convenience of locating exactly next to the JR station is superb! Before you check in you can actually chill at the lounge with free drinks and nice view. quite relaxing with a good view of the Sendai city.

Sendai is mijn tweede favoriete stad in Japan geworden. Het biedt de perfecte mix van koude en stedelijke vibes niet zo vol als Tokyo, Osaka, of Sapporo, maar even levendig en aangenaam. Dit capsule hotel ligt vlak langs de hoofdstraat, waardoor het zeer comfortabel is voor eten en winkelen. Er is zelfs een Ichiran Ramen vlak bij de deur, en een beroemde Taiyaki winkel slechts 2–3 minuten lopen. Sendai Station is ongeveer een 10-minute wandeling van de accommodatie. Een neerwaartse positie is echter het verwarrende bagagebeleid. In de hotelregels staat dat grote bagage niet in het slaapgebied kan worden gebracht, dus ik huurde een keten slot (JPY 100) om mijn tas in de hal te beveiligen. Ondanks dit bleef veel gasten hun zakken binnenbrengen, dus de regel leek onconsistent gedwongen. Voor gasten als ik die het beleid navolgden, was het een beetje ongemakkelijk, omdat mijn capsule vrij ver van de hal was en het moeilijk was om mijn bezittingen elke keer terug te halen.

A stroke of bad luck left us stranded in Sendai when the JR East Shinkansen network was suspended. As the night wore on with no trains in sight, we grew anxious. By 11:30 p.m., we decided to book a hotel for the night. Thankfully, the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise — newly and tastefully renovated, cosy, and functional. The highlight was the lounge, which offered complimentary beverages and a play area for kids — an unexpected but welcome touch. Like most hotels in Japan, it provided complimentary toiletries, but this one went a step further with facial masks and bath salts — a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more relaxing.

This was my third stay at The Westin Sendai, and I continue to love both the hardware and the service. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the two restaurants are truly excellent — always one of the highlights of my trip. However, during this visit, the lady at the lobby reception was not as helpful as expected. While she remained polite, her attitude felt a bit less sincere compared to my past experiences. That was the only small disappointment in an otherwise wonderful stay.

靠海的飯店，外牆上有海嘯留下的高度標，很難得的飯店，裏面有修復後的百年老掛鐘。1樓免費飲料！服務態度也很好. 就週邊餐廳較少，下次有經過一定會去，很喜歡前枱的女生長的很漂亮，態度又很好！

Het is het beste hotel dat ik ooit heb gehad. Het hotel is gebouwd in een bergenbos, het milieu is elegant, warm en comfortabel. De hotelservice is volledig in positie en bij onze aankomst is er ook een speciale auto uitgenodigd om te komen. Het hotel heeft een steentje eten en ontbijt, niet alleen op het niveau van het smerige vijf-sterrenhotel. De privé-suppy is ook niet smaakvol in de zachte regen. De hotelservice is ook intimiteitsverzorging. Als het niet tijd is, wil ik echt een paar dagen in de regen blijven!
