It’s my first time staying at this hotel together with my big family for wedding ocassion. The location is great although the hotel located at the main road where easily to have traffic jam most of the time, taking a grab is a choice and must!
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful too.
For better improvement , the hotel need to upgrade and polish some hotel furniture or equipment hence can make hotel more attractive to the tourist.

Check in time supposed at 2 pm. We have to wait until around 4 pm to check in. We book 2 rooms but only can check in one room first. They still cleaning the other room. There was only coffee maker inside the room. Hot water available outside the room. Iron also upon request. Got stains on the bedsheet and quite smelly. Bathroom need to upgrade.
The good side is, the staffs were very friendly and responsible. This hotel also situated opposites Indomaret and nice caffe name Kangen 49. The menu was awesome.

The hotel located near the SKA Mall and Living World around 15 mins walking. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The check in process was fast and they allowed early check in. The room was spotless, had a nice view (need to request for higher floor), good water pressure, the AC was cool enough and the bed was so comfy. The breakfast offered a lot of variety and decent. The only down side was the check out process took so long. Hope they will improve the check out process and make it fast and convenient. Overall, a good stay.

The location is just super convenient, bridged with mall. Walking distance to Alfromart & Indomart, opposite Novotel which was full that we resorted to Fox Harris. But no regret. There was surprise fox performance during breakfast, and free cake decorating for kids during breakfast too.

Large pool well suited for swimming (about 20m), Whirlpool, Sauna, Steambath & Gym. All sparkling clean, modern, nice atmosphere to chill at the pool.
Delicious breakfast with huge variety of dishes, all sorts of eggs, omelet prepared fresh.
Spacious, clean, modern great rooms, good aircon.

Ons verblijf in Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru was uitstekend en het werd al snel een van onze favoriete hotels in de stad. Perfect voor gezinnen, zakenreizigers en iedereen die waarde hecht aan comfort en gemak.

Het hotel is gelegen in Mall Pekanbaru en biedt ongeëvenaard gemak. Winkels, restaurants, entertainment en zelfs supermarkten liggen op loopafstand. Dit maakte het vooral gemakkelijk voor gezinnen en zorgde ervoor dat iedereen zich kon vermaken zonder dat er vervoer nodig was.

De kamers waren ruim, schoon en comfortabel. De bedden waren knus en de indeling was geschikt voor gezinnen met kinderen. De schoonmaak was gedurende het hele verblijf consistent en attent.

Het personeel was beleefd, professioneel en altijd bereid om te helpen. Het inchecken verliep soepel en al onze verzoeken werden snel afgehandeld. De service heeft de algehele ervaring echt naar een hoger niveau getild.

Het ontbijt bood een goede en smakelijke selectie – voldoende variatie voor zowel volwassenen als kinderen. De eetzaal was schoon en het bedienend personeel was attent.

Het zwembad was schoon en goed onderhouden, ideaal voor gezinnen die willen ontspannen. De fitnessruimte en andere faciliteiten waren ook in goede staat en comfortabel in gebruik.

We recently stayed at Aryaduta Pekanbaru for a family trip, and while the hotel has a good location and a well-known brand, our experience was below expectations.
👥 Front Desk Experience
The check-in process was disappointing. The front staff were not friendly, and there was very little warmth or hospitality. Even though our room was already ready, they were very strict about only allowing check-in after 3pm, which made things inconvenient—especially for families travelling with children or elderly.
🏨 Room Condition
The hotel is quite old, and it shows.
• The room had a noticeable old smell when we entered.
• The toilet wasn’t very clean, and water leaked out into the room area, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for kids.
• Overall, the upkeep and cleanliness were not at the standard we expected.
🏊 Facilities
We went to the pool area but found no staff at the pool counter, which made it difficult to request towels or assistance. The pool area itself is decent, but the lack of staff presence made it feel unmanaged.
📍 Location
The hotel is in a convenient central area, close to malls and food outlets, which is the main positive point.

AayudhowI stayed at Hotel Dafam Pekanbaru in a Superior Room, and overall the stay was quite comfortable. The room provided was originally a twin bed, which was then combined into one large bed to accommodate my request for a king-size bed. The room size felt just right—not too small and not too spacious. I was able to perform prayers comfortably inside the room, and there was still a sofa available for relaxing, which made the room feel practical and cozy. I stayed in a non-smoking room, so the atmosphere was clean and pleasant.
Breakfast was fairly varied, featuring local traditional snacks from Pekanbaru as well as lontong sayur, a well-known local dish. Everything tasted good and offered a nice introduction to local flavors. Another great advantage is that the hotel is located near a mosque, making it very convenient to attend congregational prayers. Overall, Hotel Dafam Pekanbaru is a good choice for a comfortable stay with convenient facilities and easy access to nearby worship places.

Hhanisah_aisyahThe hotel located less than 10 mins from Airport and they provided free airport shuttle as well. Not only that, there were many eateries around just next to the hotel such as Bakery shop, Indomaret. The room was clean, have a nice view (need to request higher floor), good water pressure for showering. The only downside were the AC was not cool enough during my stay and the room was a bit small. Hope the hotel can fix the AC. The breakfast buffet was decent and have a lot of variety. Overall, it was worth my penny and decent stay.

Would be great if deposit can be paid by card, so you guys didn’t need to tell us, the customer, to get the cash from ATM’s outside the hotel. Just imagine, you came across the island, come to hotel, and sent back to outside just to get a money for deposit? Fr dude
