Hotels met Gym in Shanxi, China

Location: near LinFenXi High Speed Rail Station 临汾西站(10mins drive/ 20mins by local public transport to LuoGuQiaoTou 锣鼓桥头站). Best is that they provide pick-up and drop-off at HSR station, just make a call 3 hours in advance. I dont have local number, so I email them in advance before my trip, they replied my email and provide me their WeChat number so I can make reservation for the pick-up service at the station. Many local tours have pick-up and drop-off service near the hotel (junction outside the hotel), easy and convenient. Services: warm and welcoming services. Tea and drinks in the lobby, luggage storage as well. Room: clean big room, big screen TV, mini bar fridge, bathrobe and comfy king bed. Lavender shower shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, make me feel so so much relax. Laundry: laundry machine are free of charge (washer and dryer). Laundry room provide ironing equipment, books, drink as well. Definitely not get bored. Otherwise, can use phone connect their website to make a reminder while the laundry have done (so convenient). Gym Room: just opposite and same level of laundry room. Treadmill are so new. Breakfast: varieties of choice. Before that I already crave for coffee since it is not so common to find espresso in the local breakfast restaurant. Salad bar, local meatball soup, noodles, dumplings, wantons, boiled egg, fried egg, fried tomato with egg and local cooked food. So many choice and so satisfying. However they dont have egg omelette, it is fine for me. I found that even though not staying at LinFen city centre, it is still fine to stay here as the traffic here is convenient. And here is more quiet and more relax👍 The only thing I dont like is, some customer smoking in the lift and hotel lobby (even though there is a sign in the lift to advice not to smoke), definitely affecting those unlike smoking smell and sick of cigarette smell like me.

Unfortunately, the overall stay was not great. When we booked the hotel, we specifically requested a non-smoking room, which is essential for us because of health issues. After double confirming with the hotel that they have non-smoking rooms (based on the website, all rooms are non smoking), we paid for our booking. However, shortly after, they informed us that smoking in hotel rooms is common and unavoidable in Taiyuan. We felt deceived into making the payment and realized we were stuck with this accommodation for our 7-day stay. Upon checking in, we had to request a room change due to a strong smoke smell in the original room. The second room was better and the hotel staff was nice enough to provide an air purifier. Throughout our entire stay, people were smoking in the elevator, lobby, and even at the dinner table. If we had known this beforehand, we would have reconsidered staying here. For a 5-star hotel, it did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, we paid far too much for this experience. The only highlight of our stay was the hotel staff. They were always friendly, helpful, and did their very best to serve the guests, which made our trip a bit more enjoyable. We thank them for their excellent service.

This is a big hotel in a good location ( walking distance to the ancient town) with spacious room , clean and comfortable beds. However, there are no fridge, nor save box in the room; kettle, tea, coffee provided. Love breakfast with a variety of choice, both western and Asian styles, especially the dinner buffet (158 yuan) is amazing; well done chefs! We love a lot of things about this hotel apart from the “shower tickets”; this should be clarified in the hotel’s policy that this ticket is just a discount coupon for using Spa. We thought this is for swimming pool. Overall, we had a good time at the hotel and lucky to visit the Buddha caves and the flying temple in one day. Highly recommend this hotel to any traveller in Datong.

Het voelt heel warm, als thuis. Ik geef de locatie van het hotel een dikke pluim. De geografische ligging is vlakbij de zuidelijke poort van de oude stadsmuur (Yongtai Gate) (zie de foto hieronder). Het is 10 minuten lopen naar de Shanhua Tempel, de Negen Draken Muur, de Trommeltoren van de Confucianistische Tempel, enz. Het is ook meer dan 10 minuten lopen, maar in verschillende richtingen, wat betekent dat het hotel zich midden in de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden bevindt. De Huayan Tempel is een beetje ver weg. Een taxi kost ongeveer 7-8 yuan. Kortom, het is erg gemakkelijk om overal naartoe te gaan. Het hangt af van je fysieke kracht. Als je fysiek sterk bent, kun je erheen lopen, wat ongeveer 20 minuten duurt. Een taxirit vanaf de hogesnelheidslijn en het Datong Museum kost ongeveer 15 yuan. Het is aan te raden om vanaf de hogesnelheidslijn naar het hotel te komen, en eerst naar het museum te gaan en dan naar het hotel. Laten we het over het ontbijt hebben. 位置在一個巷子裏，裝修風格很像全季，大床房有點小，就換到雙床房了，床墊枕頭都很舒服，衞生乾淨每天都有阿姨打掃，今年新開業的酒店，設施也比較新，電視也是智能的可以聯網。出巷子右轉10分鐘是黃河夜市，左轉10分鐘是兩個商場，所以位置還算不錯的，性價比也特別高！唯一不滿的是入住的時候隔壁就在裝修，週末的時候大早上裝修把我吵醒了氣得我報了警，處理的挺快的，很快就沒聲音了，給運城110點贊，後來發現隔壁的賓館裝修門口留的是雲季酒店的電話，有點尷尬呢可能是雲季酒店想擴大規模，但是週末裝修擾民確實是不對的，我也是查了運城法定裝修時間才這麼做。運城很好的城市，遇到的人都很好很温暖有人情味，物價也特別低，還是很喜歡這座城的

This is without doubt the ideal place to stay in Pingyao Gucheng. It is located pretty much equidistant from the 4 gate towers - smack in the middle of the ancient town. It is right at the edge of the no-car zone (which is approximately the Southern half of the Gucheng), and this means that the hotel's car can drop you off right at the hotel's gate, and there is no need to roll your luggage down a street or transfer from car to electric cart. The Gucheng's main street is 5 minutes' walk away, easy access to all the restaurants, shops and main attractions. The hotel oozes old world charm, yet is up-to-date with modern amenities like heating in both room and bathroom, comfortable beds, key cards, etc. Hygiene and service were impeccable. The driver picked us up from and dropped us back at the high-speed train station on time, front desk staff checked on our needs all the time, helped with our bags (driver calling ahead before arriving), gave us daily fruit platters and water, etc. We had a fantastic time, and felt more taken care of than anywhere else on this month-long trip in China. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent and the new decoration is very clean.

The staff upgraded us to a suite room upon check-in. Also provided daily fruit platter and 梨汤. Supper of 刀削面，egg and warm milk was great! Special commendation to 郭六女 for good service. Parking convenient.

I have a memorable and most enjoyable stay at this hotel. Most welcoming and friendly front desk staff who would offer support and assistance promptly without hesitation. They are confident and competent. Thank you, I had a wonderful time. Wish all the other hotels would have a service level like yours. The hotel is clean and modern. I enjoyed the breakfast too, the food was plentiful with balanced variety.
