Ik kan dit geweldige hotel van harte aanbevelen! Mijn verblijf was fantastisch! De service was onberispelijk; de receptionisten waren vriendelijk en geduldig, het inchecken verliep snel en ze gaven zelfs proactief tips over bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. De schoonmaak was nauwgezet; ze maakten de kamer dagelijks schoon en vulden de benodigdheden aan. Eventuele problemen die ik tegenkwam werden efficiënt en effectief opgelost door het personeel – een werkelijk hartverwarmende ervaring. De kamer was schoon, comfortabel, goed verlicht en geluiddicht, wat zorgde voor een goede nachtrust. De hygiëne was uitstekend, de faciliteiten waren compleet en het ontbijt was voedzaam en heerlijk. Van service en sfeer tot voorzieningen, alles verdient een vijfsterrenwaardering. De ervaring overtrof mijn verwachtingen ruimschoots en ik raad een verblijf hier ten zeerste aan!

Mijn vrouw en ik waren op roadtrip en verbleven in het Qiuguo Hotel (Zhangye West Station Dafo Temple Branch). De vriendelijke dames aan de receptie waren zeer gastvrij en begroetten ons elke keer dat we binnenkwamen of vertrokken. Een jonge dame genaamd Zhang hielp me geduldig met een probleem! Een andere receptioniste ging zelfs naar de parkeerplaats om me te helpen met een probleem met het scannen van de QR-code. De kamer was knus, schoon en comfortabel, met aparte toiletten voor de wastafel, douche en zitje. We kregen ook elke dag drie gratis drankjes! Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, inclusief versgebakken wontons. Het hotel heeft een eigen parkeerplaats en ik kan het iedereen die op roadtrip is van harte aanbevelen!

Ik verbleef drie nachten in Hampton by Hilton in Zhangye. Op de dag van inchecken nam ik deel aan het evenement ter ere van Kinderdag van het hotel. De kinderen bakten eierpasteitjes en tekenden, en hadden veel plezier. Op de dag van vertrek kreeg ik ook foto's van het evenement, wat erg attent en aangenaam verrast was. De service van het hotel is in alle opzichten optimaal. Ook bij het ontbijt wordt er goed voor de kinderen gezorgd. Daarnaast krijgen de kinderen een afhaalbox met kleine gebakjes mee om mee te nemen. Daarnaast is er een heerlijk lamsrestaurant dat ik kan aanbevelen. Of het nu de receptioniste, de chef-kok, de lobbymanager, enzovoort is, ze zijn allemaal enthousiast en behulpzaam. Het is zonder twijfel de beste reiservaring van de laatste tijd.

This hotel was honestly a 10/10 stay. The service was excellent! Friendly , attentive, and very welcoming from start to finish. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean, and felt thoughtfully designed. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was lovely, with stylish decorations and a really pleasant vibe throughout the common areas. We especially enjoyed the small coffee and snack area, which was a really nice touch and made the stay feel extra comfortable. the location itself was great right in the city center and very convenient for getting around. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I’d happily come back.

I love the design of the curtains as it can block sunlight really well. The staff is helpful and friendly. The lobby provides guests with drinks, which is very considerate. The breakfast is not worth it though. It cost RMB38 per head, but the food variety is rather limited. I had to go to 1/F for a cup of coffee because the restaurant at 10/F did not include any drinks. There is no AC in the restaurant as well, which made guests sweating.

De bewaker van dit hotel is erg enthousiast. Hij hielp ons onze bagage uit de auto te halen en naar de kamer te brengen. De service was echt geweldig. De roomservicedame is ook het type dat oprecht problemen voor de gasten wil oplossen. Ik belde voor een aantal items en ze werden snel naar de kamer gebracht. Onder hen was het toilet in een van onze kamers midden in de nacht verstopt. De kamerbediende kwam er heel snel mee om. Er was echt geen afkeer van de obers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang en Shanghai. De kamer is ook erg groot en het ontbijt is erg uitgebreid! Het is niet ver met de auto van verschillende bezienswaardigheden. Ik had zo’n haast dat ik geen foto’s heb gemaakt, sorry 😂

This guesthouse is located in a village in Dunhuang, and it might feel a bit out of the way on your first visit. However, it's very close to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake, making it quite convenient for sightseeing. The environment is relatively quiet, with the courtyard surrounded by fruit trees, creating a very relaxing atmosphere overall. Upon check-in, I found the room to be very clean, and there were no issues with the bedding or the bathroom. They even provided makeup remover wipes and alcohol pads in the room, which are small things you don't usually think about but come in handy for wiping down your phone or hands after a day out. The common areas are well-designed, and the infinity pool makes for great photos. It's also pleasant to just sit in the courtyard, sip coffee, and relax. The guys at the front desk were quite enthusiastic; they helped with luggage, recommended local eateries, and generally assisted with any requests. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but everything is freshly made and tastes good. They also offer coffee and craft beer, and it's lovely to sit in the courtyard in the evening with a breeze. If I had one minor quibble, it's that the restaurants recommended by the front desk, while delicious, had quite long wait times. Overall, this is a very thoughtful guesthouse, perfect for those who want to take their time exploring and staying in Dunhuang.

We stayed in this hotel as the base to see the Colourful Mountains. The hotel is old which is ok but it is not as clean as many guests have described. There was hair in the shower and the bathroom is patched up. Also, I would not recommend this hotel for nonsmokers as we are because there is smoking in the common areas. The entire hotel including the rooms smell of stale smoke which have seeped into the carpets and furnishings. You constantly feel choked up with fresh and stale cigarette smoke throughout the entire stay. That said, this viewpoint may be our problem because we are visitors from a country that has banned smoking in enclosed public spaces and it is what we are accustomed to. On another note, the service and hospitality was excellent and we thank the hotel team for this.

Our stay was excellent. We arrived at night, very tired after a long journey, and were warmly and efficiently welcomed. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The service provided by all the staff—from reception to housekeeping and the breakfast area—was consistently kind and professional. A great advantage was the self-service laundry facilities, which allowed us to wash our clothes conveniently. Another highlight was the varied buffet breakfast: everything was fresh and delicious, and we truly enjoyed it—trying a few new dishes for the first time! The location is outstanding, just across from the station. We would gladly stay here again without hesitation and will certainly recommend it.
