The location and cleanliness are wonderful. Right next to the ”Champs Elysees” of Beijing. May I kindly suggest to add a fee to continue proposing the collecting and cleaning which is displayed on the hotel website? It is confusing for guests to see a service proposed and not performed. See hotel website and joint pic of sign to hang on door in Chinese , didn't take a pic of the basket. Also if the receptionist asks you to bring down your dirty laundry basket (placed in the room) to the lobby, it can be perceived as gross by clients as you do not bring dirty clothes in a hotel lobby. Such things are not done and not to be suggested by the receptionist. Finally, most guests on holiday are happy to pay and have laundry done. It is a service we had in other hotels in China free or paid. 2 machines and 2 driers for so many rooms is not enough. Visiting all day(Beijing is huge) and staying up to 1.30 am doing laundry in a queue is tough during holidays. This needs to be corrected or crossed out on the hotel website so clients know beforehand. Overall positive though.

The hotel is located in a hutong (alley) in Dongsi Sitiao, offering an authentic and tranquil Beijing hutong experience. You can easily go for a city walk, and the nearby Dongsi West Street and Longfusi commercial area provide a plethora of dining options. Subway Lines 5 and 6 are conveniently located in the Longfusi commercial area, about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself has well-equipped facilities, including a laundry room and a mini-gym, and the service is quite attentive. These are the hotel's advantages. On the more average side, the rooms are quite small, and both the bathroom and shower are separate and very compact. Given its location within the Second Ring Road hutongs and being a renovated old residence, this is understandable. However, some of the hotel's policies felt a bit stingy. During the National Day holiday, I booked four consecutive nights at over 1,000 RMB per night, but the minibar and afternoon tea were only complimentary on the first day and not for the following three. This feels unfair to guests staying for multiple nights. Therefore, I would recommend this hotel for those who want to experience Beijing's hutongs, but perhaps only for one night. For longer stays, there are other hotels and guesthouses with better service.

Before booking, I read the negative reviews, which were mostly complaints about the service. After staying, I felt like this hotel was one giant obedience test. Upon entering the room, I noticed a strong smell from the air conditioning ducts. I picked up the phone and dialed 'one touch.' The operator transferred me to the front desk, who said they would get back to me shortly. 'Shortly' meant I had to call again to get any kind of answer. After changing rooms, the next day my room card stopped working. That's when I understood why there was a phone in the hallway. After calling, they said an auntie would come to help open the door. Ten minutes later, the auntie finally arrived. After opening the door, she said a concierge would bring a new room card later. Well, it never arrived within two hours. Eventually, when I went to pick up my takeout, I had to go to the front desk myself to get a new one. The tissues in the room ran out. The auntie replaced them with new ones, but just left the new pack on top of the tissue box instead of putting them inside. I don't understand that. There was a short black hair in the bathtub... The mini-bar was completely empty on the first night, possibly due to the room change. At breakfast, I opened a Chinese steamed dim sum, and there was a black hair inside... Breakfast ended at 10:30 AM, and many guests came at 10:35 AM to get coffee, but it was all gone...

The hotel boasts a great environment with simple yet elegant decor. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the facilities are complete and well-maintained. Cleanliness is satisfactory, the staff are friendly, and the hotel offers excellent value for money. It's suitable for both business and leisure travel, and highly recommended.

I've stayed at Ascott many times, and it's consistently excellent in all aspects. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the amenities like the fridge and washing machine are all fully equipped. The environment is also very quiet; you barely hear any noise. It's super convenient for dining and drinks, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There's also Xiao Taihou Park close by, and it's not far from the subway station – about a 10-minute scooter ride.

Now, when I come to Beijing, I only like staying here. There's a sense of reassurance, especially with the service staff from the lobby to the rooms; they always make me feel at ease. It's also very convenient for getting around and doing business. Truly excellent.

On my holiday trip to Beijing, I booked this hotel because I had a flight in the evening. It's close to the subway, which makes getting to the airport super convenient. The hotel lobby and the room's interior environment are both fantastic, and the front desk staff are all very friendly and helpful. This hotel generally allows for early check-in and late check-out. I slept until noon, then took my time checking out, without having to rush out by 12 PM. Plus, the bed in the room is huge and very comfortable. Awesome~ Awesome~

Would definitely staying here again once got a chance to visit Beijing next time. The overall satisfaction score is 5/5. Room size: At 25–27 sq.m., the room is large enough to lay out my 24”–28” suitcases flat and still walk around comfortably. Given the room size and nightly rate, this hotel is the perfect fit for me. Facilities & Amenities: - Auto-flush toilet - Shower room & Restroom separated - Location: Although the hotel is almost 1 km. from the nearest metro station, my friends and I left around 7 a.m. every day and preferred taking a DiDi directly to the tourist attractions. Plus, the hotel provides space for temporary parking, making the location convenient enough for us. Staff: The receptionists mainly speak Chinese, but they tried their best to use a translation app to communicate and deliver the utmost service. Adding the hotel on WeChat is highly recommended for foreigners to communicate easily. During my stay, I used WeChat to request a room change due to a strong cigarette smoke smell, as well as a one-hour late check-out on my final day.”

I am writing this review to give kudos to this splendid hotel for high value for money stays here. My adult family and I were here for 5 nights from 18 to 22 Sept 2026, and we were glad we could come back to a very comfortable stay in this place after a long day visiting Beijing's wonderful attractions and would recommend the reader to consider this place as well. The reason for this review is not only to compliment but to iron out many complications and misinformation about the hotel's name, finding it and room information so that future guests can make more informed decisions before they select this place. There are already quite a lot of good reviews about this place so this review will just work out the kinks. Firstly looking for this hotel - it is impossible to find this name as indicated on the booking on google before you arrive so I got nervous. Sanlitun Workers' Stadium refers to this location but ”Rezenz” is not findable for me until I loaded the Amap app when I arrived and found it - alas when you arrive at the hotel you do not find this name anywhere on the hotel branding sites and front facade. Thankfully using other guests' photos I looked for Suisse Place, which got me to this hotel. Apparently, this is its actual name in English. Secondly, the closest metro (officially called Beijing MTR) station is Dongdaqiao Station (line 6) but everyone from Amap to even AI tells us to exit at Exit A. We did and found ourselves climbing up the stairs with our luggage and pulling it along the road until we reached the hotel and realised it was right next to Exit F! Exit F serves both Lines 6 & 17. Even the metro signages at this station were not updated. We believe Exit F is more current vs the other exits as there are escalators both ways up and down! Even so having the metro exit right next to the hotel is a huge plus. Thirdly if you take a Didi (China's Uber or Grab service) the more convenient pickup location is to indicate ”Four Points by Sheraton” which is the hotel sharing the same building and right around the corner (we could not find Suisse Place on the app). Didi is relatively inexpensive way to travel when you are in a group. Now the room we stayed in. I booked a Family Room for us 4 adults and the indication on Trip.com was ”1 queen and 1 double bed”. This information is erroneous please note. Instead it was 1 King (6ft wide) and 1 Twin (4ft wide) in the room. So plan your stay carefully if you want to book a Family Room. Other than that, the 55-inch TV was wonderful with 2 English CCTV channels (I think Channel 41 thereabout). The bathroom was well equipped and delightful, the best bathroom we stayed in at this price range ever. There are also toothbrushes/pastes provided. The front foyer was also great with a washing machine (instructions in Chinese characters) and other amenities. The only warning we have is the hairdryer - no gentle wind here as the blast is tornado-speed like! This hotel is conveniently located with a convenience store on the front door's ledft (you need to exit and re-enter the building). If you are not picky there are food choices nearby. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Yes the hotel is undergoing retrofitting works but after dinner when we returned we heard no noise. once we did return at 5pm and heard faint drilling sounds but it was bearable to us. Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.
