"Fantastic trip and fantastic service at the Hilton Double Tree. Rooms and service were top-notch. Support from staff was fantastic too. My daughter hurt her foot in the pool and they sent her a little note and bar of chocolate which made her day - above and beyond. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet was pretty average and with Hobart being such a vibrant bustling city of beautiful food they need to up their game. Everything was ok and a decent selection, however the hot food section was pretty poor and the sausages were like cardboard. Kids loved the cereal and fruits on offer so that was a bonus."

"I stayed at Travelodge Hobart for three nights and, unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. The AC unit in the room was noisy and dusty, which made it hard to sleep. The room itself also felt dusty and not properly cleaned. The bed was uncomfortable, and the bed frame kept shifting every time I moved. The bathroom was quite small as well. What made the stay even more disappointing was that the room wasn’t cleaned at all during our three‑night stay. For the price and the brand, I expected better upkeep and comfort. The location is convenient, but overall the stay didn’t meet my expectations. There’s definitely room for improvement."

"We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities were excellent — even better than some four-star hotels we’ve stayed in. We also had dinner at the hotel and it was absolutely delicious. The only small issue was that we could sometimes hear people talking in the hallway. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"This is my 2nd time at Ibis. The 1st time was with my husband, and the 2nd time was with my friend, and we love it, as it’s a great location for the shopping area, Salamanca market, wharf, bus and taxi, tour bus, and restaurants. Since we are more outside and about & came back to the hotel at nighttime, we don’t have time to use the amenities, but I already know and have used the amenities before, and they’re awesome! My friend had a short time to check the amenities and she’s happy with it. Maybe next time we can use the amenities. Thank you Ibis Hotel. You had a wonderful concierge, as I forgot to bring my charger and I bought a wrong charger at Coles and I keep on borrowing the charger at the concierge and they are awesome to lend it❤️"

"This hotel is located in the centre of Hobart, only a few minutes away from the pier and the Travel and Information Centre. Its architecture is exquisite, the staff is welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Its rooms are well-decorated and comfortable. I spent one week there and I would gladly go back. "Stayed at the RACV Hotel Hobart for 4 days The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk. The rooms are clean and modern,the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant. Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink  in the lovely  lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace. The staff are all friendly and efficient. I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious. Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,"

Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style."

Very good stay in general. Around 10 minutes walk from all the day trip pick up locations (e.g. Brooke Street Pier). The facilities were amazing and the front desk staff members were all very supportive and helpful. Loved the welcome cookies!! The room was big and we received daily clean ups. We visited the pool and also utilised the gym during our stay as well - very good facilities. The bathroom wall was a bit think as we could vaguely hear people next door, but the room was completely fine - could not hear a thing. Would recommend to all types of travellers and will definitely stay again if we are visiting Hobart again!

We had the most amazing stay here, all thanks to the incredible hospitality!We arrived at Hobart Airport after a super long and exhausting journey, and we were honestly running on empty. Melissa at the front desk was an absolute lifesaver! She noticed how tired we were and immediately went to work trying to get us an early check-in. Since our room wasn’t quite ready, she safely stored our luggage for us and text us the very second it was clean. That meant the world to us!She also gave us a fantastic, super detailed rundown of all the hotel facilities. To make things even better, our room had a stunning, super beautiful view of the lake. We couldn't take our eyes off it!

I've been to Australia three times, but this was my first trip to Tasmania. I traveled solo, taking a 2.5-hour drive from Hobart to Launceston in the north. I stayed at this Best Western Plus for two nights, and my overall experience was very good. **Cleanliness:** Very clean, and housekeeping cleans daily. If you're staying multiple nights and don't need cleaning the next day, you can hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your doorknob, and they'll give you an 8 AUD meal voucher for breakfast at the restaurant. **Facilities:** Standardized beds and a bathroom. The room was spacious, very comfortable for one person. The bathroom had bath towels, regular towels, and hand towels. Laundry supplies were also provided. The minibar offered free tea bags and instant coffee. Two complimentary bottles of mineral water were in the room, with additional bottles costing 4 AUD each. The parking lot 🅿️ was quite large. **Service:** Breakfast was a continental breakfast, including bread, butter, jam, milk, and oatmeal.

The hotel service was excellent, the location was perfect, and the parking was very convenient. The room was very stylish, with automatic curtains and many thoughtful features that made the stay very comfortable. The restaurant was also very good. Overall, it was a wonderful experience

Since we arrived in the early hours of the morning, the hotel was very accommodating. Knowing my wife is pregnant, they allowed us to check in a little early so she could rest properly. Overall, it was good, aside from some noise. However, I think this is due to poor soundproofing, which seems to be a common issue across Australia. Essentially, it's very convenient, with a bus stop and light rail station right downstairs, making it easy to get to different attractions.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mövenpick Hobart! The location is perfect—everything in the city is within walking distance. The room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable with a great view. The staff were warm and welcoming, making check-in and the whole stay effortless. The daily Chocolate Hour was definitely a highlight and such a fun touch! Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Hobart. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Hobart city center. Downstairs, there are numerous shops like Myer, Arc'teryx, The North Face, and the Machimachi bubble tea shop, making shopping very convenient. The staff were friendly, and check-in was smooth. The room size was moderate, and the view was great, but the windows were quite dirty, which affected the viewing experience—something that needs attention. The breakfast was very plentiful, with a wide variety of choices and well-balanced nutrition. Housekeeping was done daily, and the cleanliness was good. You need to use your card to access the elevators, so security is not an issue. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low and could use improvement.

Good location, just walking distance to the main streets which closes very early. Restaurants are easily accessible. I self drive, nearest parking is of about 3-5mins walk away at $35AUD per night unlimited. I personally feel if i were to choose again, maybe i would just park at the nearest carpark beside, or park at the same carpark without using the hotel privilege, maybe it could be cheaper. This is because i only come back to the hotel at night and moved out early in the morning. Worth exploring if anyone were to try. Cleanliness wise, im not too sure, i make room everyday but theres some stains in the bathroom which was left on day1, still there on day3, but room and bed definitely tidied. Still worth to stay. Love the indoor pool and the breakfast is good too! (Ala carte order, not buffet)
