De hygiëne is erg goed en de servicegerichtheid is ook goed. We verbleven 6 dagen in de clubkamer. Clubkamer met ontbijtbuffet. Er is eten en drinken in de club op de 5e verdieping van 7.00-20.00 uur. Er is een café op de eerste verdieping en een Japans restaurant is ook goed. Er is een poké-winkel in het naastgelegen ilikai-hotel, dat goed smaakt. Het strand ligt op 15 minuten lopen. Niet aan te raden als je graag naar het strand gaat. Het winkelcentrum Waikiki ligt op 20 minuten lopen. Ik rij meestal op de roze lijn en heb een JCB-creditcard, zodat ik gratis kan rijden.
Drankjes en hapjes: 2 Hawaïaanse bieren van de tap, rode en witte wijn. Cola, thee, Honolulu-koffie, enz.
Het zwembad is niet groot, maar er zijn niet veel mensen. Het hotel in Waikiki ligt relatief dichtbij de luchthaven, waardoor u niet door de file hoeft. Het winkelcentrum Alamoana ligt op 10 minuten lopen. Supermarkt Donquijote (donki) ligt op 15 minuten lopen (de prik is hier heerlijk en goedkoop).
Het wordt aanbevolen om naar Hawaï te vliegen met het ANA A380-vliegtuig, een groot vliegtuig van 2 verdiepingen. Het schildpadvliegtuig is zo schattig.

De locatie is erg goed, maar er vinden renovatiewerkzaamheden beneden plaats, waardoor er veel stof en ongedierte is. Het personeel is vriendelijk, maar je kunt je bagage niet langer dan een dag, slechts een paar uur, achterlaten. Het is voor ons wat lastig om te gaan eilandhoppen en dan terug te keren naar het hotel. Al met al zouden we een betere optie moeten kunnen vinden.

I usually book with the Marriott down the street whenever I’m in Waikiki but I opted to try the Hyatt for the first time; it was also a little cheaper than the Marriott the day that I went.
I got a King room with a city view on the 7th floor. The room was large, clean and one of the corners of the tower so it had a curving layout.
Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C was cold. My only little gripe was in the bathroom, there weren’t any shampoos or conditioners or body wash in the tub like other hotels.
Can’t say much for service since I was only there for a day but the employees I did interact with were friendly and helpful.
Definitely would stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay here. Every morning, I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with a view of the lagoon and the ocean — it was absolutely beautiful. The building is a bit dated, but it is undergoing renovations, and even so, the property has five swimming pools, a lagoon, and easy beach access, which I really appreciated.
One downside was that I was assigned a room in the Rainbow Tower with a connecting door. The noise from the neighboring room came through very clearly, almost as if it were in my own room, and the soundproofing was poor due to the connecting door.
The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main Waikiki area, which felt a little far but still manageable on foot. Overall, I really enjoyed the facilities, the pools, and especially the lagoon.

Our family’s second time at Halepuna. Location is great, steps from Waikiki and easy access to everywhere. Has a great infinity pool and hot tub on the 8th floor but not overcrowded like some other hotels. Will stay again next time.

Hotelgasten kunnen van 16.00 tot 17.00 uur genieten van happy hour met een gratis glas vers gebrouwen bier per persoon in de lobbybar.
De door het hotel in rekening gebrachte belastingen en toeslagen kwamen niet overeen met het orderbedrag dat via de Ctrip APP was geboekt. Het probleem werd snel opgelost nadat we contact hadden opgenomen met de klantenservice van Ctrip. Het leuk vinden. Het hotel beschikt over een waterdispenser waar u gratis water uit uw eigen fles kunt drinken. De vaste zanger in de lobbybar is zeer stijlvol.

Melissa, Jessie en de heer Kalani waren allemaal geweldige dienstverleners! Dankzij hen heb ik hier een van de beste en meest comfortabele verblijven gehad. Ze staan altijd klaar om tegemoet te komen en te helpen! Ze beginnen echter meestal rond de middag tot de avond te verschuiven! De faciliteiten waren ook allemaal geweldig! Het was nooit een te zware taak om een magnetron en een koelbox te hebben en om extra voorzieningen zoals tandenborstels en bodylotion te kunnen vragen. Het ligt ook dicht bij 2 grote winkelcentra, namelijk Waikiki en de internationale marktplaats. Het was op loopafstand van andere grote merknamen en je kunt gemakkelijk meedoen aan het plezier op straat. Het enige nadeel waren de andere klanten en hoe dun de muren waren - wat zelfs midden in de nacht geluiden en praten betekende. Maar verder was het een geweldig verblijf. Ook geweldig voor individuele reizigers :)

Het hotel is qua inrichting en faciliteiten relatief oud, vergelijkbaar met de Hilton-hotels. Je moet je bagage naar boven dragen, op de eerste verdieping. Er zijn niet genoeg obers. Niemand heeft het initiatief genomen om te helpen met de bagage. Gelukkig was er niemand, anders je zou dan één dollar moeten betalen. Tip, het hotel beschikt niet over een zwembad, dat is niet geschikt voor mijn wensen. De locatie is relatief afgelegen. Gelukkig is er vlakbij het hotel een plek waar foodtrucks verzamelen. Er zijn meer keuzes voor eten en het is goedkoop. Haha, ik moet de foto's langzaam vinden. Ik weet het niet meer. Welke hoort bij dit hotel?

Hawaï is erg oud, bijna net als China in de jaren 90, dus de hotels moeten toen luxueus geweest zijn. Nu is het gewoon dezelfde oude managementstijl, zonder enige renovatie. Het personeel is over het algemeen behoorlijk arrogant. Denk niet eens aan het ontbijt in dit hotel, tenzij het gratis is, dan hoef je er niet voor te betalen. We verbleven er zes dagen en aten elke dag twee keer hetzelfde. Het waren echt twee verschillende dingen. Parkeren bij het hotel is erg duur, maar er is gratis parkeergelegenheid aan de overkant van de straat. Over het algemeen kwam ik naar Hawaï omdat het leuk klonk, maar het is een wereld van verschil met Sanya in China. Verwacht er niet te veel van. Gewoon mijn persoonlijke mening.

You can see the sea from the elevator lobby on the guest floors, and enjoy a partial city and mountain view from the room. Services like parking and housekeeping were prompt. The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge variety, but the small garden outside the restaurant was lovely, and the dining environment was comfortable.

GGuest User1) The escalator leading from the lobby to the mezzanine level was out of order. Given the makeshift barrier on the mezzanine level, it looked like the escalator had been out of commission for some time. Quite a shame from a convenience standpoint.
2) I had checked into the hotel after midnight because of a flight delay so I was pretty exhausted and fell asleep quickly after taking a shower, brushing my teeth, etc. I woke up in the middle of my first night's stay noticing a foul odor. After walking around the room and initially thinking it was coming from the A/C vent, I pinpointed the origin of the bad smell to the linens: the pillowcases, sheets, blanket. It smelled like a dirty wet sponge or clothes that never dried completely but were put back in the dresser drawer. I pulled all of the linens off the bed and left a note for housekeeping to replace them because of a foul odor. They did and it was fine the rest of my stay, but the point is I never should have had to do that.
3) Upon returning from my uncle's funeral Saturday night, to my dismay I found 20-30 cars that had been double-parked by the valets in the hotel parking lot. After circling the lot several times in the hopes of catching someone leaving but having no success, I decided to look into valet parking, figuring that since I was a hotel guest they would have something worked out. When the valet told me the valet fee was $49 even for hotel guests I was flabbergasted and declined. He instructed me to go back to the parking garage and speak to the parking attendant to ask about my parking options. When I got there, the parking attendant initially refused to come out of his booth to help me so I had to enter the garage, go all the way around to the exit and talk to him so that he didn't have to leave his booth. He pointed at a white car parked outside and told me to look for parking ”around there.” I asked him if that was assigned to the hotel, because I did not want to wake up tomorrow morning to discover that my rental car had been towed or impounded. He did not convince me that this was not a possibility so I parked the car where he instructed me to, took photos of the area, and went to the hotel registration desk to look further into the parking situation. The signage was also not clear. When I got to the registration desk, I was helped by an employee who seemed to have a French accent. He was definitely European, with very short hair. I explained what had just happened with the parking and he told me that the hotel did not have ”jurisdiction” over that parking area and he could not guarantee me that my car would not be towed. There happened to be another employee, a local guy, just finishing a transaction with a hotel guest so I moved one station over and asked him the same question. He clarified the situation and explained that that outside parking area (in the middle, under the ramp) was overflow parking for the hotel, and, as long as my hotel parking pass was clearly displayed, my car could remain there for the duration of my stay.

SSevost13We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience.
First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway was noticeably dirty upon arrival, with visible streaks from a wet cloth — quite unpleasant for a hotel of this level.
I also reported that the faucet in the sink splashed water everywhere, soaking the countertop and the floor. I was told the issue would be checked, but nothing was fixed throughout our stay. The two-faucet system used to regulate water in the bathroom was also very inconvenient, and we consistently had problems with unstable hot water pressure.
A separate major issue was the parking. I prepaid and reserved parking for 5 days, but on the second evening all the spots were already taken, and I was simply instructed to park in a different building nearby. This was extremely inconvenient — having to carry things from the 3rd floor of another parking structure and waste additional time. It turned out that even if you pay in advance, your parking spot is not guaranteed — anyone from outside can take it. So you pay, but end up without the service you were promised.
Overall, the staff tried to provide good service, but the organizational issues, maintenance problems, and poorly managed parking system seriously reduced our comfort. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

CcrenminThe whole resort has a very good atmosphere. You can watch the sunset. There is also a saltwater lake where you can go snorkeling. You can see turtles at the shallow end, and you can also see a lot of fish, tropical fish, and dolphins. There is also a large swimming pool. The holiday atmosphere is superb. It’s just that there are small flying insects in our room, which is annoying. In addition, the house is old and the facilities are old.

GGuest UserVery pleased with our stay! Excellent location beachfront. Beautiful views of Diamond Head Crater. Super excellent location to be in the middle of all shops, beaches and restaurants . Short walks to explore & enjoy up and down the streets and beaches! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. Great assistance with booking activities. My daughter took a surf lesson. Beachside conveniently had plenty of water activities to enjoy with an area to rent paddle boards , surf boards, floats, chairs & umbrellas. The restaurants inside the resort were excellent and convenient with outdoor seating and ocean views! ABC general store on lower level to shop for anything needed from drinks, snacks, beach towels, souvenirs, sunscreen etc…The resort also offers free activities that are on a schedule week by week, such as yoga, hula lessons, Lei & bracelet making, vow renewals & ukulele lessons! My 15yo daughter took a ukulele lesson, then shopped around and bought one to bring home!!! We have absolutely no complaints about our stay! Will absolutely be coming back in the future. Our flight home was a late evening flight & our check out time was 11:00am, so the bell hop service held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our last day on the beach. Then we decided to top off our last day to pamper ourselves with a spa treat, which is located on the top floor of the resort. I got a massage. My daughter got a facial. Afterwards we got to go to the outside roof top and enjoy the awesome view feeling refreshed & relaxed. I can go on and on about the positives of this vacation stay. There were no negative issues!

CCaizhenxuanIt was my first time in Hawaii and I didn't make a reservation in advance. I made the reservation in a hurry and checked in very late after traveling a long time. The hotel customer service was quite nice. The room was quite simple, but the view outside the window was beautiful. Overall, the price/performance ratio was very high. The most unexpected thing was that the hotel's food was very suitable for my taste.

EEmily Rose LDelightful hotel in a prime location: surrounded on a peninsula of sorts by lagoons/“ponds” filled with wildlife like herons, turtles, and fish. Each morning there are people fishing and enjoying the park next door and the pool is situated to enjoy all of this beauty.
The rooms are basic and dated but you have what you need and if you have a relaxed Hilo mindset you’ll probably enjoy the 60s tropical vibe as much as we did! Very basic continental breakfast (bread and fruit only), but an okay-looking restaurant on site. There is also a small party/liquor store and a gift shop.
Advice on how to make your experience feel like a resort:
- book room 416 or something around there: one with a balcony in the Oceanside.
- grab some meats and cheeses from the supermarket and if you can, hard boiled eggs or the like to supplement your breakfasts (there’s a fridge in your room and you can put your continental breakfast from the hotel in a To Go container that you re use each day).
-get up early each day to have breakfast in the balcony and enjoy your view a couple hours before the day’s activities. So special and relaxing!

The front desk staff were incredibly kind and even accommodated our last-minute request to extend our stay. I'd definitely want to stay here again.

AAnonymous UserSo glad I booked the ocean view room! Seriously, if you're coming to Hawaii, an ocean view is a must. It's just so nice to be able to see the ocean right from your room. I also really liked the resort vibe here; the gardens, pools, and little fountains are all beautifully done. The lagoon is gorgeous too, and the beach is fantastic – I think it's cleaner than Waikiki and bigger than the beaches at some of the other nearby hotels. It's also not far to walk to the city center. All in all, I'd definitely recommend it!
