Location: near LinFenXi High Speed Rail Station 临汾西站(10mins drive/ 20mins by local public transport to LuoGuQiaoTou 锣鼓桥头站). Best is that they provide pick-up and drop-off at HSR station, just make a call 3 hours in advance. I dont have local number, so I email them in advance before my trip, they replied my email and provide me their WeChat number so I can make reservation for the pick-up service at the station. Many local tours have pick-up and drop-off service near the hotel (junction outside the hotel), easy and convenient. Services: warm and welcoming services. Tea and drinks in the lobby, luggage storage as well. Room: clean big room, big screen TV, mini bar fridge, bathrobe and comfy king bed. Lavender shower shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, make me feel so so much relax. Laundry: laundry machine are free of charge (washer and dryer). Laundry room provide ironing equipment, books, drink as well. Definitely not get bored. Otherwise, can use phone connect their website to make a reminder while the laundry have done (so convenient). Gym Room: just opposite and same level of laundry room. Treadmill are so new. Breakfast: varieties of choice. Before that I already crave for coffee since it is not so common to find espresso in the local breakfast restaurant. Salad bar, local meatball soup, noodles, dumplings, wantons, boiled egg, fried egg, fried tomato with egg and local cooked food. So many choice and so satisfying. However they dont have egg omelette, it is fine for me. I found that even though not staying at LinFen city centre, it is still fine to stay here as the traffic here is convenient. And here is more quiet and more relax👍 The only thing I dont like is, some customer smoking in the lift and hotel lobby (even though there is a sign in the lift to advice not to smoke), definitely affecting those unlike smoking smell and sick of cigarette smell like me.

The receptionists were really nice and helped me to store my luggage. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel because of the terrible tobacco smell. I had to cover my head the entire night. The corridor carpet is so dirty. It needs to be changed.

My partner and I visited Datong Ancient City, and choosing 'Boyuan' was the most delightful part of our entire trip!. The guesthouse is tucked away in the heart of the ancient city, making it incredibly convenient to explore Huayan Temple and the city walls. It offers a tranquil escape amidst the bustling streets; stepping into the courtyard instantly shields you from the urban noise. The overall design is a new-Chinese-style courtyard, with blue bricks, wooden windows, lanterns, and greenery creating an elegant and refined atmosphere. Every corner of the courtyard is a picturesque scene, perfect for traditional-style photos. Spending leisure time sipping tea and enjoying the cool breeze in the courtyard truly immerses you in the slow-paced life of an ancient capital. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the amenities complete and thoughtful. Given the dry northern climate, they even provided a humidifier. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep every evening. I must particularly commend the butler and staff; their service was warm, attentive, and discreet. From check-in guidance and recommendations for local sightseeing to promptly addressing any daily needs, their attention to detail was exceptional. The daily breakfast was authentic and delicious, a comforting start to the day, reflecting their meticulous care in every aspect. Staying at Boyuan was incredibly comfortable and relaxing, completely free of the usual constraints of being away from home. It felt like owning a private courtyard in the ancient city. I left with a heavy heart. I highly recommend Boyuan to couples and travelers visiting Datong, and I will definitely choose it again on my next visit to Datong!

Ik heb gemengde gevoelens over deze herberg. De reden dat ik deze plek heb geboekt, is vanwege de hoge beoordeling en de locatie in de oude stad. De service is echt goed. De dame bij de receptie kwam ons ophalen en begeleidde ons naar de herberg. Er is een shuttlebus die je vanaf een bepaalde gate naar hun herberg brengt, maar we moesten meer dan 30 minuten wachten op deze service, waarna ik mijn klacht heb geuit. De dame bij de receptie heeft zichzelf goedgemaakt door me een kamerupgrade aan te bieden, wat erg fijn is. Eén ding dat ik wil benadrukken, is dat er veel trappen naar boven zijn in de binnenplaats vanwege de historische aard van de bouwstijl, waardoor het niet gemakkelijk is om grote koffers te tillen. Daarnaast is er een fotoservice die duurt tot 10:30 tot 11:00 uur. Ik raad je aan om een ​​rustige kamer in de binnenplaats te boeken. Service staffs were helping us to bring our luggage down and up the car. They also helped navigate our car into the old city. We appreciate the free snacks and arrival drinks. The disposable toothbrush is surprisingly usable. The location is near to food street; the staff will gladly direct you to it. Thanks for the staff — 丽莎，小赵，小良!

This is a newly opened hotel with excellent facilities. The rooms are clean and tidy, the service is great, and the breakfast is also quite good. The hotel is conveniently located near Bell Tower Street and Food Street, with many old, reputable restaurants nearby, making dining very easy. The Jinshang Museum is also just 1km from the hotel.

I went with my sister. To a place that is remote and strange to us. We did not expect much but we received lots of warm memories. From the airport pick up to arriving. They offered afternoon tea once we arrived hotel as it was very cold. We were taken care of well. The following days were nice breakfast, warm regards, constant reminders to wear more as it is cold. When the food rider could not find the hotel, the boss went out to find the food rider, asking me to stay back as it is cold outside. The constant reminders felt home and warmth, genuinely care for their guests. Amazing and soul enriching trip at this place. They offered more than they advertised - depending on the situations, which is beyond my expectation. Finally they sent us off to the railway station, this is not in the package but they only said they had the car, they can bring us there, like family sending off their guests. Find a place like this, rest for a few days, the world feels warmer, the soul feels grateful.
