Front office counter staff are friendly and helpful. Although there are only two staff from Nepal can speak some simple English. Buffets breakfast priced at 1800 Japanese yen is value for money! Rooms are big and comfortable with space for big luggage. Hotel amenities are amazing. You even have choices of pillows! Front office duty manager Mr Oka-san was super helpful. He took the initiative to print out the train timetable for us without us asking ! I was truly impressed!

My wife and I have had a 2-night stay at this Hotel Keifuku Fukui Ekimae Room #707 from 11 to 13 October 2025. The Hotel is just a 1-minute walk away from the Fukui Station. Its reception is small, and it has limited parking lots on the 1st Floor behind the Hotel. So we are grateful and thankful that we were given a lot for just ¥1000 per day for 2 days. The Hotel staff are polite and helpful, and are able to communicate in simple English. As the Hotel is located right in the city centre, so shopping centres with eateries are within walking distance. The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is very small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the very small bathroom (the WC is right next to the bathroom room) - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower. We believe the Hotel is quite old as the general fittings and fixtures are very dated, but it is clean and well maintained. At SGD S$107 per night, we find it not value for money at all, and, if the rate is remained the same or gets higher, we will choose to stay else where if we travel to Fukui again.

The rooms are small and charming. The hotel has a hot spring experience. The breakfast is good, the service is excellent, and it's close to the station. Highly recommended.

The facilities are beautiful and the staff are kind. It is attractive that the price is cheap because it is used for business. Since it is a little far from Fukui Station, it is highly appreciated that the parking lot is free.

Location is perfect to everything, close to the fukui station. So you can access any transportation. We had a day drip to Eiheji temple by bus. Overall experience is smooth and easy to go around.

Never felt more welcome and cared for during my trip than in this hotel. Everybody from front to restaurant was kind, helpfull and forgiving of mistakes. The room is so beautifull, the smell of the tatami is so good. The things in the room are clearly chosen and cared for with love. And the view, well you will never get tired of looking out over the coastline with the boats going in and out and people fishing from the pier. The diner was a perfect display of culinary skill and in line with the season. It was a feast for the eye as well as the mouth. Breakfast was perfect as well. Same as above. The common bath was also just right, if you are early enough you can look at the sea while enjoing it. Thank you everybody, it could not have been better.

Always love staying at Dormy inn for their free onsen, free yakult, free ice-cream and especially free ramen during the night time from 2130 to 2300. The room is clean, quiet and spacious with a seating area. Location is just nice, about 600m walk from JR station, 500m walk to the Kehi -Jingu Shrine, 3.3 km walk to the Nihonkai Sakana fish market. Most of the shops in the fish market closed at around 4.30 pm. A supermarket is just located at the opposite side, can get some offered items after 5 pm. Get lots of offered food from the supermarket for the breakfast. So I don't try their breakfast. Will definitely stay in this hotel if I return to Tsuruga again.

I had a very pleasant stay at Courtyard by Marriott Fukui. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from the station, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring the area. The room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. I appreciated the modern design and the attention to detail in maintaining the room. The combination of the convenient location, generous room size, and high standards of cleanliness made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fukui and would stay here again.

１ It's okay to change the women's bath and men's bath depending on the large communal bath time on the floor, but please do something about the female guests who don't keep time in the last minute! San 々 I couldn't go to the Yakiniku restaurant because I had to wait for 40 minutes! You know that restaurants in the area close early, right? If you can't protect me, please leave the woman in the morning! Please make only men at night! The rules are to protect! When I saw the face that came out calmly without being terrified, I was hungry! The front desk staff is also a service industry, so I can't say strongly, but I want to improve the response so that I can follow the rules. Better yet, please make the public bath limited to men's baths! I don't want you to use it for a woman who takes a long bath without protecting time. I was thinking of using it next time I come to Fukui, but if that is not improved, I don't want to use it again.

The hotel is quite well priced with a great Onsen on the roof. The rooms are clean and quite big. Free laundry was also a good amenity. However, it is quite far from the fukui station and you need to walk a bit to a convenience store nearby. Vending machines are available for drinks inside the hotwl
