We boekten voor één nacht. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Onberispelijke kamer. Rustig hotel vlakbij Mont Saint-Michel (20 km). Gezien de eerdere reacties wil ik zeggen dat de kamer een zeer respectabele grootte heeft (dezelfde grootte als veel andere hotels). Wat het avondeten betreft, konden we er helaas niet eten, het zat vol. Dus een advies: bel voor aankomst om te reserveren. We aten in het stadje Ducey bij de crêperie, die erg goed was. Er zijn verschillende restaurants in Ducey. Stevig ontbijt met verse producten zoals zelfgemaakte yoghurt.

Fijne kamer met een ruime badkamer en lekkere douche. Geen geluidsoverlast. Bovenste verdieping heeft wel een schuin dak, dus dat is bij het bed wel een beetje lastig als je lang bent.

De hotelfaciliteiten zijn vrij nieuw. De receptioniste bij de receptie is erg vriendelijk en kan goed in het Engels communiceren. De hotelkamer-tv was het enige hotel waar we tijdens ons verblijf in Frankrijk verbinding konden maken met wifi en het scherm normaal konden casten?, wat geweldig is!

Habitación limpia, muy básica, muy pequeña, baño como de camarote de barco porque es muy pequeño. Tenia olor a humedad, aunque estaba todo limpio. Personal correcto. Solo para una emergencia y dormir. Cerca de la carretera. A lado hay un supermercado muy completo. Cumple con su función.

Ik heb voor dit hotel gekozen omdat het vlakbij de Flixbushalte ligt. Bij aankomst vertelde de receptioniste ons dat er geen warm water was en bood aan om zonder extra kosten op een andere locatie te verblijven, ongeveer 5 minuten lopen daarvandaan. Het personeel was erg aardig en beleefd tijdens ons verblijf. De kamer was ruim en schoon. Ik zou er zeker weer verblijven als ik ooit terugkom.

Een zeer degelijk hotel, vrij nieuw en modern. De kamers en openbare ruimtes zijn erg schoon. De standaardkamer is ruim en de badkamer is ook groot. Het bed en het beddengoed zijn goed. De wifi is prima. Het raam kan open, waardoor er wat frisse lucht binnenkomt, hoewel er geen airconditioning is, wat in de zomer oncomfortabel kan zijn.
Een belangrijk nadeel is de afstand tot het stadscentrum. Het is ongeveer een half uur lopen. Voordelen van de locatie zijn onder andere een grote Carrefour op vijf minuten loopafstand en een bushalte naar Etretat direct voor de deur.
Een extra pluspunt is het Russischsprekende personeel bij de receptie.

Bom atendimento, indicações claras.
Acesso à piscina/spa incluído muito apreciável.
Pontos a melhorar: falta de iluminação no caminho pedonal para as termas e centro da cidade (pode ser perigoso).
Almofadas do quarto muito altas: deveriam haver outros tipos propostos, check out a melhorar : o distribuidor de sabão da casa de banho não funcionava.

Petit déjeuner un peu cher, peut-être proposer un petit déjeuner plus simple et un plus complet à des prix différents.
Hotel propre et peu bruyant. Ensemble agréable. Personnel souriant et rendant service.

SShawnWe booked this hotel because it was in a château and it looked romantic and unique .However there were many details lacking overall. Firstly avoid the restaurant at all costs even though the three course meal was only €29. The food preparation and quality was terrible. Please see attached photos. The salmon I had was overcooked from frozen salmon and the greens were likely frozen greens that were boiled to mush and no longer green. The risotto was just rice coated in some weird cream and had some tasteless pieces of chicken slapped on top. We did not finish the food.
They clearly also need more staff as our receptionist was doubling up as a waitress, and we noticed that there were some waits and gaps in service.
The room was compact and clean, but the details were lacking. For example, the fixtures and appliances were the cheapest variety possible and didn’t match the Luxe feel that the hotel is going for. The location is slightly out of town and a 20 minute walk to all the main sites in the old town.
The grounds were tidy and very pretty in photos.

GGuest UserIf you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley.
Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!!
We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us.
Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady.
Just go. Dont hesitate.

GGuest UserMy friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France.

Accommodating with kitchen and microwave which absolutely good for those family who like to have their own seafood party, you can easily buy your own seafood from Poissonnerie Villard - Le Littoral, or Poissonnerie Saint-Marc, etc.
Staffs are kind and friendly, the aparthotel provides replacement of garbage bags and toilet papers, just asked at their reception desk.
It definitely a good and memorable stay in Rouen.

JJass PhuaThe location of the hotel was very convenient, about 10 mins walk from the train station and walking distance to a lot of restaurants.
The staffs were all so friendly and helpful! There’s a day I was back to hotel from Mont Saint Michel and it was late and all the restaurants were closed. I was hungry and cold and ask for foods from hotel, though kitchen was closed they still managed to whip up with ham ,cheese and baguettes. It makes me feel like home!
Also, do try the dinner at the restaurant it was good!
I just want to thank all the staffs for the hospitality and wish you guys Merry Christmas!

NNetteluoWe only stayed 1 night at Hotel Paulette as we were driving through Rouen as a part of our road trip. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is walking distance from the Notre Dame Rouen Cathedral, Le Gros Horloge and the site where Joan of Arc was burned. The hotel room was clean and had the necessary amenities such as free wifi, toiletries, hair dryer. While there is no cupboard, there is a suitcase stand where there are hangers you can hand up your coat and clothes. Just note that the bathroom is small. It did not bother us since it is a standard for most European hotels.
