"Ik wilde al heel lang naar Wangxian Valley en eindelijk had ik de tijd om deze sprookjesachtige plek te bezoeken. Het hotel ligt in het schilderachtige gebied, en na het inchecken waren we snel bij de kern van het景区. De kamer die we boekten was van alle gemakken voorzien, de kinderen vonden het geweldig en mijn vrouw was zeer tevreden. Vanuit de kamer kon ik direct uit het raam kijken en genieten van het sprookjesachtige uitzicht, wat ik persoonlijk ook erg fijn vond. We kwamen tijdens het Lentefestival, en er waren op verschillende tijden prachtige voorstellingen, wat zorgde voor een geweldige feestelijke sfeer. Ons hele gezin heeft een heerlijke vakantie gehad. We komen zeker terug!"

"This hotel is really fantastic, and we had an incredibly wonderful time here! The hotel's facilities are top-notch. In particular, the clay (pottery-making) facilities are extremely well-equipped. There's a dedicated pottery studio, and we even have instructors who are masters of intangible cultural heritage to teach us. This allows us to fully unleash our creativity and experience the magic of high-quality kaolin clay coming alive under our fingertips. When it comes to painting colored glazes, it's as if I've transformed into a little painter, using colors to depict the beauty in my heart. The hand-wrapped wontons for breakfast are absolutely delicious. They're not only nourishing but also incredibly tasty. That's why we decided to stay here for three whole days. The environment is also superb. The ”venting bottles” (a special decorative feature) in the backyard have become my go-to spot for taking photos. The pictures I take there have a great ambiance. The koi fish in the pond are so much fun; they actually follow people around. The hotel is very close to the ancient street. It's just an 800-meter walk, and you can get there in a few steps. Wearing the hotel's cheongsams (traditional Chinese dresses) for photos gives off a strong vibe of the Republic of China era. I saw many young ladies wearing them. I'll definitely come back here next time!"

"De duplexkamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden en hangende stoel in Xianxiu in Wangxiang Valley was geweldig! Perfect voor een gezin van drie, je verblijft midden in de geheime vallei, wat de ervaring onvergetelijk maakt ✨ De duplexindeling is super gelaagd, en de hangende stoel beneden is de kers op de taart. Heerlijk om daar weg te kruipen en van het prachtige uitzicht buiten te genieten, pure ontspanning. De twee eenpersoonsbedden zijn breed en comfortabel, het beddengoed is zacht voor de huid, zodat iedereen ongestoord kan rusten met veel privacy. De kamer in houtstijl past perfect bij de bergen en het water. De kamertemperatuur is comfortabel, zelfs in de winter voelde het niet koud aan – er is veel aandacht besteed aan details. Het hele verblijf was zorgeloos. De butler stuurde van tevoren reisgidsen, beantwoordde vragen direct, je kon snel het park in bij de ingang, en er was een portier om te helpen met de bagage. Inclusief toegangskaartjes en ontbijt. Na het bekijken van het avondlandschap loop je zo terug naar je kamer. 's Ochtends geniet je nog van de rustige vallei, en je loopt zo naar de populaire bezienswaardigheden. Onbeperkte toegang tot het park is super handig. Als je met vrienden reist, boek dan deze plek zonder twijfel. De volgende keer verblijf ik hier weer!"

"What a wonderful place! The room was beautifully decorated and full of all comforts, with a beautiful view on the manicured hillside lush with greens and trees, a joy for the eyes. All minibar items were included with a delicious plate of fruit fresh everyday. We were given two coupons per night of stay to use at their restaurant and hence we didn’t spend anything for food on our first day. Delicious food at great price. Nice bar where to have a drink after dinner with good cocktails and vibes. All the staff went beyond their efforts to give us the best experience with a smile and finding all the solutions we needed. You can rent a scooter for 40 RMB a day to go explore the area around. Great pool, beautiful gardens for walks, all was superb will definitely recommend it and return asap. Thank you!"

"Everything is perfect in this hotel. Built around very old trees, the green open space and the industry chic building style and interior blend beautifully together. Service, breakfast were all top notch. We also really loved the location. As it is within the Taoxichuan art and culture space, we could walk to some nice restaurants and check out the artist markets very conveniently. Highly recommend and will stay again when we return next time."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mercure Nanchang Tengwang Pavilion, thanks to its warm service, unexpected upgrade, and unbeatable location. From check-in, Li Yuan (李媛）was friendly and attentive, swiftly handled requests, offered helpful tips for my stay and local areas and even answered my questions outside of her work time. She also offered a complimentary room upgrade, a room with great river view. Thanks to her genuine hospitality. The self-service laundry service provided by the hotel is very helpful and convenient. The breakfast has a good variety of freshly prepared food. The location is unbeatable. It’s steps away from the iconic Tengwang Pavilion, and a short walk to the metro (Line 1), riverside promenades, shopping streets (Zhongshan Road), and fantastic local restaurants. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers!"

"I was completely ‘WOW’ by the services and the cleanliness of my rooms during my stay at Shangri La Nanchang. The cleaners who cleaned my rooms were consistent in maintaining clean and sparkling surface top of my rooms. We were given connecting rooms (2713 & 2714) which made it easier for me to walk over to my children without stepping out of my room in my pyjamas. Manager Mr Hank Zhang ensured my stay was pleasant, convenient and enjoyable for me as he knew that I was staying there for 5D4N with my 3 children. Counter staff Ms Ava Li was friendly and professional in handling my request with thoughtful act and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff in Shangri La Nanchang for making my last lap of the China trip a pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable stay from 21 to 25 December 2024. I would strongly recommending EVERYONE to stay at Shangri La Nanchang. Lastly, the bell boy and traffic control staff were always helpful and friendly in treating every guest with respect. "This is a brand new hotel with excellent smart features. They even use robots! The rooms are equipped with electric curtains and smart toilets, and they are quite spacious. It's a bit odd that many rooms don't have windows, but the decor is still pretty good. I do wonder if the formaldehyde levels in the rooms have been properly addressed, though. The gym currently has enough equipment for use, and the breakfast restaurant is still under construction. The best part is its incredibly close proximity to the train station – I doubt you could find a hotel closer! You can definitely get to the station within a ten-minute walk."

"This place is located in the village mountain where we can explore the village conveniently especially during early morning and evening where almost all people have already gone down the mountain which is quite peaceful and less crowded. Guests can also go up the mountain by cable car for free and get to the lobby by a small coach service. Hotel staff are helpful and always share useful information via WeChat. Just one advice, more various vegetables for breakfast should be added to make the meal more appealing."
