"Located right in the heart of Wuzhou near the river. This hotel was quite large with a beautiful and elegant lobby. The room was equally spacious and comfortable. Everything in the bathroom worked well and the bed was quite comfortable as well. Overall an excellent value for a hotel to use as a base for exploring Wuzhou!"

De kamers zijn schoon en netjes, met oog voor detail in elk aspect. 👍 Bij het inchecken was de service van Xiao Zhang aan de receptie onberispelijk. Hij was ontzettend aardig en gaf ons een upgrade naar een betere kamer, raadde restaurants in de buurt aan en trakteerde ons zelfs op pomelo's. Daardoor voelde onze reis naar Hezhou meteen heel bijzonder aan. De locatie is ook fantastisch, met een prachtig uitzicht op het Ailian-meer aan de overkant van de straat. Ik zal hier zeker weer verblijven. Een echte aanrader!"

"Wij verbleven van 8 t/m 11 mei in dit hotel. Goede locatie. We namen een kamer met uitzicht op de rivier, het was erg mooi. Zeer beleefd, attent en vriendelijk hotelpersoneel. Tijdens het inchecken kregen we cadeautjes met snoepjes, het was erg leuk. We hebben ook gefilmd in het hotel in klederdracht. Wij, als buitenlanders, vonden het erg leuk. De kamers zijn schoon, goed beddengoed, comfortabele bedden, de zithoek bij het raam is gewoonweg magisch gezellig, met een prachtig uitzicht en een theetafel. Toen we uitcheckten, kregen we lokale thee. Het was natuurlijk heel erg gezellig. Het hotelgedeelte is erg schoon. En een groot pluspunt is dat een deel van het personeel Engels spreekt. Het was ook erg leuk dat er in de hal, bij de receptie, een tafel stond met thee, sap, fruit en koekjes, helemaal gratis, elke gast kon pakken wat hij wilde. Wij raden dit hotel aan."

"Ik stelde me voor dat het geweldig was voordat ik er verbleef, maar nadat ik er was gebleven, was het onvoorstelbaar. Initially, the hotel's color scheme seemed a bit odd, but I later learned it was the color of the sunset glow on the old buildings. This nostalgic and genuine warmth permeated every aspect of the hotel's service. Because the hotel was still in its soft opening phase, I was upgraded to a suite! I was overjoyed. 🛏️ Suite Experience Over 100 square meters. The suite included an indoor soaking tub and swimming pool. The color scheme was simple and elegant—a combination of off-white, light brown, and dark wood tones, instantly creating a relaxing atmosphere. The view from the window overlooked the Silver Beach! The room amenities were top-of-the-line, from bedding to toiletries, with attention to detail everywhere. 🍽️ Dining Stunning Completely unlike anything I'd expected from a third-tier city. The selection of breakfast items was simply unbelievable for a city like this. Makana Bakery, located in the bakery, offers locally inspired bread innovations—Guangxi Liubao Tea Croissant, Pandan Coconut Croissant, Lychee Sea Salt Croissant—bringing local flavors and French baking techniques together beautifully, rivaling boutique bakeries in first-tier cities. I tried the coffee shop, Chinese restaurant, and ice cream shop one by one, and each exceeded my expectations. The hotel dedicated significant space to local cultural exhibitions. As a keen citywalker, I was exhausted from exploring Beihai's old streets and various seaside areas, but surprisingly, the most insightful experience of the city came from the hotel's exhibition hall 🤣 The curation was excellent. The curatorial text and style were tasteful. It wasn't just a perfunctory display of folk customs, but a genuine exploration of the city's historical context and way of life—from maritime culture to the memories of the Tanka people, from the old street fabric to the evolution of contemporary Beihai. It was also a photogenic spot. Another feature of the hotel is the inclusion of a collection space showcasing several high-quality niche brands. From luxury lifestyle products to carefully selected souvenirs, everything was practical, stylish, and imbued with Beihai's essence. These brands offer excellent taste and value for money. Although I also visited other places and tried several hotels, I felt that this hotel was enough for my trip to Beihai. I could relax, enjoy the sea view, shop, and eat to my heart's content. Finally, let me talk about the service. It wasn't the professional hotel service I'd expected. Having stayed in top-tier hotels, I understand the natural and welcoming atmosphere of a butler. But perhaps because it had just opened, many people's eyes held a touch of naivety and unfamiliarity. They were cautious yet attentive, which was especially endearing. That simple, unfamiliar sincerity was touching. You could see their dedication. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I've stayed in countless great hotels. This is the first time I've written such a thoughtful review. Because this place is more than just a hotel; it allowed me to rediscover Beihai. It also solved the pain points of traveling in a third- or fourth-tier city regarding dining, service, and the aesthetics and practicality of souvenirs (and the value for money was excellent). This wasn't just a place to stay; it was a key to understanding Beihai and a haven for my short stay."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Place Liuzhou, and let me tell you, their in-room steak dinner was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It was honestly one of the best steak meals I've ever had, and the fact that I got to enjoy it in the comfort of my own hotel room made it even better! The room itself was spacious, clean, and modern, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel's location was convenient for exploring Liuzhou. But that steak... wow! If you're a steak lover like me, do NOT miss the opportunity to try it during your stay!"

"Great location if shopping centres and city life is your thing but the street noise may be disturbing. Very standard amenities, small pool with no view, large gym, a sauna that took ages to heat up, needs upgrade/fixing. Great breakfast buffer with wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Overall a 4* experience, as expected, so no major +/- issues. If you want a 5* accomodation at not different price point other options are available in Nanning. I had very good experience with Ming-Du, not as central locationl as Marriott, but quieter, better views, and overall a more elevated environment."
