The good: - Breakfast was very good! - Room and bed was warm. - hot water shower works almost instantly. - Netflix and Amazon Prime available on the TV. Can be improved: - toilet slide door emited loud screeching sound which was annoying. - poor sound isolation between floors, we stayed on the ground floor and we could hear stomping the whole night. We feedback this to the hotel staff but was just given a “I cannot do anything about it” face and a shoulder shrug which clearly indicated they did not have the intention to do anything about it. - phone in the room was not working, staff had to reboot it as they said it’s a common issue. - the air vent in the bathroom stopped moving after sometime, was told to turn it off and on again to make it work again. - we checked in the same time as another couple at the reception, we overheard that they got a complementary room upgrade from the standard room (same as us). We asked if we would be upgraded as well, staff just told us that it depends on the amount we paid for the room. But clearly we booked the same standard room? Overall: Room rate was on the high side and much was expected but the condition of the room and service were under delivered.

:) Good wifi :) Ample counter space in bathroom and bathtub :) Good powerful Braun hair dryer :) Ample and accessible power outlets in room :) Car park outside apartment, free :) Lift :(( room door number lock is flimsy. Need to make sure your door closed properly. No extra lock on inside. :( all-in-one type of shampoo-shower gel. :( No human service staff. Self service number code entry to Apartment and Room. Hmmm... as long as e-system are not faulty.

Very interesting experience staying here. Sharing the dorm with 8 other people. Very crowded with everyone bringing huge luggage bag. But other than that, all amenities are good and the vibe is very nice too

酒店就在間歇泉旁邊，去間歇泉很方便，衞生也乾淨，暖氣要開久一點才比較足。酒店的洗衣服務需要下午5點前定。我們到的比較晚，沒能洗衣服。酒店有極光叫醒服務。但早餐和晚餐都挺一般，可能我們吃不慣白人飯

Clean modern hotel situated near the entrance to the town. Large room but space mostly in the washroom (if you like big washrooms its great). Breakfast is BIG plus in Iceland, hot cooked American breakfast (bacon, eggs, sauteed mushrooms, bread and toast), lots of juices and milk, three cereals available. Avoid the espresso machine just get the brewed coffee made by the staff. Tea is sachet so dependable. Brilliant stop on the way to the east

Het landschap is werkelijk prachtig. Ik ben vroeg in de ochtend met mijn zoon naar de warmwaterbronnen geweest en heb de zonsopgang bekeken. Behalve dat de kamer wat klein is en niet geschikt voor een gezin van drie, zijn alle andere faciliteiten voldoende. De kamer heeft een eenvoudige stijl.

This is a wonderful hotel quite literally in the middle of Southeastern Ring Road between Vik and Glacier Lagoon. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff was fantastic and helpful. Do not miss the restaurant on site -it is surprisingly gourmet for such a rural location. There is a beautiful waterfall right on property -go through the gate to the right for a short walk to see the full falls.

Absolutely fantastic location near the multiple active geysers. The included breakfast buffet at the Hotel Geysir is incredible with many choices and high quality food. This is a basic room but a good value considering alternatives and location.
