Hotels met bar in North Sumatra, Indonesia

We verbleven in Grand City Hall Medan voor een zakenreis en waren onder de indruk van het comfort en de efficiëntie. De locatie is centraal, de kamers zijn schoon en rustig en het personeel is professioneel. De uitstekende faciliteiten en snelle wifi maakten mijn verblijf productief en aangenaam. Een absolute aanrader voor zakenreizigers.

We stayed here just for one night before catching the train the next day. The room itself was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable, which was perfect for a short stay. However, all the rooms open directly onto the main lobby, so it gets very noisy early in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, this can definitely be disturbing. There’s also a very large dehumidifier in the corridor that makes a constant, unpleasant noise.

Dit is mijn vierde of vijfde verblijf in Medan. We blijven er normaal gesproken drie nachten of langer. De service en alles is perfect, er is niets op aan te merken. Het ontbijt voldoet altijd aan onze verwachtingen. Het bed is goed en zeer comfortabel. Ik kom in mei 2026 zeker terug.

Over het algemeen hebben we een prettig verblijf gehad. De kamer was erg schoon, al was hij wel wat klein gezien de prijs. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was gevarieerd, en het dakterras was een fijne plek om te ontspannen, al waren de drankjes en het eten daar wel wat aan de prijzige kant. Het resort is vrij compact opgezet, omdat het op terrassen gebouwd is. Wat we wel misten, was de gezellige, lokale dorpssfeer waar Tuk Tuk bekend om staat; de sfeer hier voelde wat minder authentiek. Desondanks is dit resort, gezien de beperkte vergelijkbare opties in Tuk Tuk, een prima keuze en zou ik overwegen hier nog eens te verblijven.

Het is een prima plek met comfortabele bedden en een verkoelende airconditioning. Het probleem is echter dat de ventilator niet goed gemonteerd is en trilt als een suikerrietpers. Verder is er niets mis met de kamer. Er is een welkomstdrankje, maar om dat te claimen moet je naar een lounge op de t****e verdieping. Daar krijg je een menukaart en wordt je gevraagd een drankje te kiezen. Pas nadat je een drankje van de kaart hebt besteld, brengen ze het welkomstdrankje en zeggen ze dat het ook onderweg is. Ik denk eerlijk gezegd dat het een trucje of oplichting is. Erg teleurgesteld.

Pemandangannya sangat bagus sekali, dekat danau, ada jendela, ada tempat utk kita makan makan tepi danau.

The location is excellent n it is right in the center of medan city. There is a big mall: delipark mall right opposite the hotel w Sogo as the anchor departal store. There r many eateries n cinema available on the top floor. The security of the hotel is very tight that makes me feel safe... The staff over there r there to welcome us to the hotel

Centrale locatie. Het ontbijt is geweldig en vol afwisseling. Kamer is schoon en netjes modern. De grootste afknapper is de geluidsisolatie van de kamer. U kunt het lawaai van de weg horen, zelfs als uw kamer niet aan de straatkant ligt, evenals het lawaai van de buren. De sportschool moet zwaardere gewichten hebben (slechts 10 kg). Zwembad was klein en altijd overvol.

Room is huge and super clean. Toilet come with bathtub and shower in different cubicle. Absolutely posh. The breakfast is above and beyond. I really enjoy the food as the have so many different varieties and the breakfast also serve on the top floor where the view of the surrounding of medan is part of the meal. Just breathtaking! I would come to this hotel if i were to visit medan in near future!

Positives: I had stayed for three nights and I had come back to the hotel at different timings and on foot and in a vehicle. Bravo to the security who are always on alert and there a couple of them. The hotel offers very attractive prices. The service staff is excellent on the couple of times I had made enquires. Housekeeping is excellent. Even my clothes are nearly folded and tucked away. Do remember to tip them. Space is big. The luggage support is very useful. Cons Maybe it is time to renovate the toilets
