De locatie is gunstig, op 10-15 minuten lopen van de stad en het treinstation. Het ontbijt is elke dag hetzelfde. De geluidsisolatie is slecht en je kunt horen wat er naast ons gebeurt. Het hotelpersoneel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hielpen ons proactief met het inladen van onze bagage in de auto na het uitchecken.

Wij maken gebruik van dit hotel terwijl we in Swanmore werken. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is goed, de service is goed en de faciliteiten zijn geweldig.

This hotel is very hit and miss. If you get a well-maintained room in a quiet area it's perfectly adequate. This latest stay matched that description, but previous stays here have not. I was in a ground floor room - I thought the policy was to put single female travellers on an upper floor, but perhaps this has changed? The window didn't have a locking mechanism so although it only opened a limited amount it would be enough for someone to get their head in. Other than that, the stay was fine. Staff I spoke to were very welcoming. I've given a lower rating for location because it's in the southbound services on the M3, which can make it noisy. Plus, if you are travelling northbound you have to go all the way back to the previous junction and turn around which is very frustrating. I probably won't stay here again.

Ik kan hier geen maximum punten voor geven, want tegenwoordig is wifi verschrikkelijk traag of helemaal niet aanwezig, wat het verblijf erg lastig maakt. Zeker als de 4G/5G-ontvangst ook nog eens verschrikkelijk is. Als je ergens wilt zijn waar je geen verbinding hebt, dan is dit de plek voor jou! Laat je innerlijke bejaarde de vrije loop en doe je apparaten weg voor de duur van je verblijf, want je kunt ze toch niet gebruiken 🤣

What a beautiful hotel in beautiful setting. We had a spacious room with a lovely big bed and separate bath with over shower. Bottle of water in the room and kettle with coffee and tea sachets. Hotel provides toiletries. We had pre booked breakfast which was a buffet and very nice. All in all a good stay

Ik verblijf er elk jaar voor een specifieke werkafspraak. Het hotel biedt me wat ik nodig heb en is perfect gelegen voor mijn werk. Ik weet wat ik elke keer weer krijg.

Uitstekend service van het personeel. Hotel atmosfeer buiten is geweldig. In het is klassiek, maar kon doen met een beetje gezelschap

Service at on reception was polite and helpful. Room was OK. The lighting was terrible in the room, so much so it was difficult to read in parts of the room. The room was also noisy from the traffic on the busy road outside and the window which looked double glazed did not stop the constant hum of traffic. The service at breakfast buffet was not good. The hot breakfast was supposed to consist of sausage, bacon,scrambled eggs, hash brown and baked beans. However when getting to the service area. all that was left was scrambled eggs and baked beans. Empty servers with no bacon, no sausages, no hash browns. No cups for the coffee or tea and no orange juice as it had run out. No clean knives. Customers kept telling the one person on service everything had run out. Lots of customers standing about waiting for clean cups/knives/food to fill empty servers. The person was unable to cope and brought out some paper cups for the coffee or tea. This was a good hotel and we have stayed many times but this time., I cannot say we were so happy with the room or service.

Nice little inn off the highway and it’s a hidden gem! Nice Italian decor especially in the restaurant. That continues into the room where my wife commented it made her think of the room we stayed in Venice. Another great thing is that they warmed up the room before we got there, so it’s nice and warm we entered it.  Restaurant also served good Italian food. Would stay there again!

A repeat visit to Norton Park Spa Hotel. I really enjoy the peaceful location with beautiful grounds where you can walk through woodland or sit on a swing gazing out at the lake. The spa is perfectly acceptable - no idea why some have left bad reviews. Great sauna and steam room, plus real ice pile and strong, cold (or hot) shower available close to these two facilities which is great extra. Pool is big enough to swim laps (not just a token effort) and there are couple of heated, tiled loungers pool side too. I treated myself to a treatment of back massage and full body exfoliation with oil application, which was absolutely wonderful. Relaxation room after the treatment was welcome touch. I have used spas across the world at top hotels and this was up there with the best. Restaurant is really high quality, certainly above my expectations of British hotel catering. The breakfast buffet has everything you could require - although it is self-service on the tea/coffee which I'd rather have served to table - plus you can order extras for free, like poached eggs and porridge, which are then cooked to order. There are also some pay-for extras if required. Dinner was even more fantastic - have eaten there four times in two stays and cannot fault.
