Unfortunately, the overall stay was not great. When we booked the hotel, we specifically requested a non-smoking room, which is essential for us because of health issues. After double confirming with the hotel that they have non-smoking rooms (based on the website, all rooms are non smoking), we paid for our booking. However, shortly after, they informed us that smoking in hotel rooms is common and unavoidable in Taiyuan. We felt deceived into making the payment and realized we were stuck with this accommodation for our 7-day stay. Upon checking in, we had to request a room change due to a strong smoke smell in the original room. The second room was better and the hotel staff was nice enough to provide an air purifier. Throughout our entire stay, people were smoking in the elevator, lobby, and even at the dinner table. If we had known this beforehand, we would have reconsidered staying here. For a 5-star hotel, it did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, we paid far too much for this experience. The only highlight of our stay was the hotel staff. They were always friendly, helpful, and did their very best to serve the guests, which made our trip a bit more enjoyable. We thank them for their excellent service.

Eén ding dat ik wil benadrukken, is dat er veel trappen naar boven zijn in de binnenplaats vanwege de historische aard van de bouwstijl, waardoor het niet gemakkelijk is om grote koffers te tillen. Daarnaast is er een fotoservice die duurt tot 10:30 tot 11:00 uur. Ik raad je aan om een ​​rustige kamer in de binnenplaats te boeken. Very comfortable stay. Hotel is older but in excellent condition with very comfortable quiet rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast was excellent with extensive Chinese and western options and even espresso coffee made to order. There was a bit of smoke smell in the corridor at times but none in the rooms and everything was very clean. Hotel was well located in the old town and close to the impressive nine dragon screen. We loved our stay in Taiyuan and this was probably the best overall hotel of our trip! If you can't find it in the alley simply walk into the most beautiful entrance. The interior designer must have been happy as well, lots of nice artwork and style, very nice room, comfy bed, great breakfast buffet. Perfect location yet quiet, in the old centre full of shops and restaurants, buzzy nightlife, don't miss the 'Paris Baguette' in the same alley! By the way, to get to the wonderful Jinci Temple we simply took the subway to Xiqiao and then a Didi.

在大同玩了三天，選擇的這家酒店還是非常滿意的，這家酒店的位置非常的方便，去哪兒都不遠，而且周邊吃的玩兒的逛的地方都挺多，應該是緊挨着這個政務區，感覺比較高大上，充電停車都特別近，房間的設施也很新，尤其是這家酒店的早餐特別好。雖然菜品的樣數不多，但是口味都很在線，推薦大家選擇。
