"Bad check in service at front counter lady. Seems more occupied with her task than guest service. I have to call and request for our sofa bed to be open. Given we book and indicated a family of 4, unlike other hotels whom immediately arrange all additional required items such as toothbrushs, slippers, towels, water, etc. Here I have to call to request for each items.
The wifi doesn't work. I have to physically bring my laptop to the front desk for assistance.. and even that was not able to connect.
Breakfast, average as the food are abit hard - hard noodles, hotdogs, breads..
Only cons is location near to ski and restaurants but so are a few hotels nearby.
Free scheduled public bus shuttle to/fro train station, have to walk about 7 mins to the bus stop.
As a Hyatt member, this is the worse Hyatt Place hotels I stayed. I believe surrounding hotels will have better guest services and competitive price too."

PPanghuhuroudundunThis time I came during the start of the seafood season, but it wasn't peak season yet, so there were far fewer people. The lower floors were cheaper, while the higher-floor sea view rooms were more expensive. Standard rooms were affordable, but those with family-friendly tents or designs cost more. Currently, the first and second canteens are not open, but they will be during peak season. It's less than a ten-minute walk to the beach. Inside the resort, there are individually-owned electric vehicles available for one, two, three, or four people, with different models. The price is a bit high at 69 yuan per hour. However, these are not affiliated with the hotel, so if there are any issues or disputes, the hotel will not intervene. The hotel's front desk and housekeeping staff were very professional; they immediately provided room service even when called late at night. Many thanks!

GGuest UserI highly recommend the NOAH ANNAYA HOTEL, and I must give a special shout-out to our dedicated butler, Wendy. Our stay this time was truly warm and unforgettable!
Before we even left, I was constantly asking questions about the various attractions in the Anaya resort. Wendy always responded patiently, clearly explaining the entry procedures for the park, how to use the shuttle bus, and other important information. She even helped us plan our itinerary based on our travel times and thoughtfully reminded us about the significant temperature difference between day and night by the sea, suggesting we bring light jackets. This saved us a lot of hassle in planning.
On the day of check-in, the process was efficient and smooth. Wendy meticulously introduced the hotel room facilities and detailed the hotel's amenities. We had pre-booked the much-anticipated 'Deck Time,' and were really looking forward to it. However, we got delayed en route and realized we wouldn't make our original session. We thought our reservation would be void, and we were quite disappointed. On a whim, I contacted Wendy. She was incredibly understanding of our long-distance travel and the potential disappointment. Instead of just saying it couldn't be changed, she proactively and repeatedly contacted the 'Deck Time' staff, coordinating and communicating with various parties to help us adjust our experience slot.
Finally, we successfully made it to 'Deck Time'! The view from the deck was fantastic, and the accompanying drinks and exquisite snacks were delicious. The ambiance was perfect, and the breeze was incredibly soothing. Throughout our stay, no matter how big or small our request, a quick message to Wendy on WeChat usually got a fast response, and everything was taken care of. Her service was attentive and thorough throughout, with a great sense of discretion – never intrusive, but always there when needed.
The hardware of the NOAH ANNAYA HOTEL is excellent, but Wendy's thoughtful and professional butler service was truly the biggest highlight of this trip. The next time we come to Anaya, we'll choose this hotel again, and we'll definitely ask for Wendy!

PpingguopingThe hotel boasts a beautiful environment and fresh air, and both the facilities and cleanliness are impeccable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!

GGuest UserHighly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the autumn foliage! Front desk staff, Mali Jiao, provided excellent service. The hotel is built into the hillside, and a stunning panorama of colorful forests greets you right from your window. The autumn colors were absolutely perfect during the National Day holiday. The room had fantastic natural light and an unobstructed view. Sitting by the window in the afternoon, watching the autumn breeze rustle the leaves, was so peaceful and therapeutic. The breakfast quality was great, and the service team was professional and kind. Even with the large crowds during the National Day period, everything flowed smoothly without any delays, making for a very comfortable stay.

Shara, my butler, sent a thoughtful weather reminder in advance, which was wonderful. She even offered advice on what to wear and outdoor activity suggestions based on the temperature changes, and delivered a welcome fruit platter – truly thoughtful details. The high-floor room she carefully reserved offered outstanding views, and the indoor facilities were brand new and functioned perfectly, with high hygiene standards maintained. The service response was efficient, and the staff were patient and sincere, never intruding on my rest. This meticulous and attentive service significantly enhanced the comfort of my trip. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

XXiaobeidedachanyatouThe room was incredibly comfortable, and they even gave us a free upgrade since we had two seniors with us. When the elderly complained about the AC not being cool enough at night, someone came to fix it immediately. Our own room had a view of Taiwoo Night, and it was especially beautiful when they released sky lanterns after the evening performance. The hotel breakfast was also very rich, and they even had different options for the two mornings we stayed. The hotel pool was very clean, and the gym, though not huge, had a lot of equipment. Plus, staying at the hotel got us a 20% discount on the cable car. The mountain scenery was breathtaking, and after the rain, there was a rainbow arching over the valley, like a painting. There were also tons of entertainment options at the foot of the mountain. In the evening, the hotel bar had a live singer, and their smoky, boozy voice was absolutely amazing! Next time I come to Taiwoo, I'll definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserIf you're coming to Shanhaiguan, you absolutely have to stay here! It's right next to the First Pass Under Heaven, and you step out directly onto the ancient city wall. The small courtyard has an antique charm, and the ambiance is simply amazing. The room was sparkling clean, and the bedding was super soft. After a long day of sightseeing, coming back here was incredibly relaxing. It's perfectly suited for family trips. Book it without hesitation – you won't regret it!

I also snagged a great deal, a 2-night stay at Marriott with flexible dates. The brand speaks for itself; the service and facilities are excellent. My needs were met with high satisfaction and quick responses. When I checked in, I asked for a room with a sunrise view, and they arranged it immediately. For check-out, my high-speed train was scheduled much later, so I requested a 2 PM check-out, which they also arranged perfectly! Superb!

KKasper KasperI feel that this is much better than most of ”youth hostels” in China. Nice vibe, clean, friendly staff, good internet, good location. It has its own bar/cafe which is both an advantage (if I had more time, I would love to relax over a beer there), and a problem (it got quite noisy at night). Chengde is a very touristy town, but it's also a nice place to relax if you have more time.

KKL1234Stayed here with my wife and son while visiting family and had a great experience. I was a bit hesitant at first since we usually stick with Marriott properties, but this place exceeded expectations and honestly felt better than many Marriott hotels we’ve stayed at.
The hotel feels brand new, very clean, and well maintained. The laundry room was a huge plus for us, especially traveling with a child. Breakfast was convenient and tasty, so we didn’t even need to leave the building in the mornings. There’s also a convenience store right around the corner which made things even easier.
What really stood out was the staff. The reception team was incredibly kind and helpful, especially when my son had an emotional moment. Despite the language barrier, check-in and check-out were smooth using an offline translation app.
Would definitely stay here again.
