In the early morning, I’d take a stroll, heading up the steps right outside the hotel, listening to the murmuring stream, and breathing in the abundant negative oxygen ions while meditating. This meditation spot is so peaceful, like a secluded paradise, with the pond water crystal clear and emerald green. It truly brought to life the descriptions from Liu Zongyuan's 'The Little Pond in Stone-dwelling': 'Through the bamboo grove, I heard the sound of water, like jingling jade pendants, and my heart rejoiced. Cutting through the bamboo, I found a small pond below, its water especially clear and cold. The bottom was entirely rock, and near the bank, a rocky base emerged, forming islets, shallows, and crags. Green trees and vibrant vines intertwined, swaying, and gracefully draping.' This is truly another wonderful way to experience Huangshan! The hotel also provided attentive and detailed butler and transfer services. Every meal was unique and incredibly delicious. On our last day, with a flight at 10 PM, the hotel kindly allowed us to extend our check-out until 8 PM and even drove us to the airport. My sincere thanks to every staff member for their help. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Huangshan and staying here again.

I was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price. Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good. Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room. The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself. I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint. There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets. Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.

Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

I chose to stay at The Langham Hefei for Eric Chou's concert, and my experience exceeded expectations. Mindy, a staff member, arranged the room perfectly in advance, and the front desk even gave me concert merchandise, making my check-in very pleasant. The hotel is super close to the concert venue, about a 5-minute walk, and I could even hear Eric Chou's concert rehearsal from the hotel – it was so exciting! After the concert, returning to the hotel, they thoughtfully prepared ginger tea to ward off the evening chill, showing incredible attention to detail and warmth. The room was comfortable and quiet, the location was convenient for getting around, and the service was attentive throughout. Such thoughtfulness made me feel incredibly warm, and they even helped arrange a late check-out! 👍 I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I come to Hefei for a concert!

The owner and his entire family are incredibly kind and genuine people. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, looked after, and truly cared for. Their sincere hospitality made our stay even more memorable. They helped us from the very beginning, arranging a driver for us, carefully explaining how to organize our excursion to Huangshan Mountain, and even suggesting what we could do the following day. The owner’s father was so kind that he personally accompanied us to the bus station so we could reach the mountain. Every evening there was always a thoughtful gesture waiting for us: a drink offered after dinner, a coffee, a friendly conversation, and above all, the feeling of being guests of a family rather than simply customers of a hotel. We had a truly wonderful stay and will never forget the hospitality we received. This is a place we wholeheartedly recommend, and we sincerely hope to return one day.

On the 3rd, I climbed Huangshan Mountain in the rain and had booked the Xihai Hotel in advance. I missed both the sunset and sunrise, but the hotel upgraded my room from Zone B to Zone A, which was a lovely touch. In the afternoon, I visited the West Sea Grand Canyon, truly the essence of Huangshan, where nature's craftsmanship left me awestruck! I took the cable car back to the hotel from the valley floor, which was a bit roundabout. Luckily, Xiao Li from Xihai gave timely directions, and I returned to the hotel safely in the heavy rain. Back at the hotel, my clothes, pants, shoes, and socks were all soaked, so I quickly took a shower and changed. I was starving and just in time for the hotel's dinner buffet – nice! It was still raining outside the hotel, but that didn't matter, as the hotel had prepared a show: Southern Lion Dance, Sichuan Face-Changing, intangible cultural heritage Fish Lanterns, staff Huizhou opera, Monkey King穿越 (Monkey King through time/space), and a clown host – it was a huge hit. Xihai Hotel added many memorable moments to my rainy Huangshan climb!
