We really enjoyed our stay at Santa Monica Pier Apartments. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the pier and beach, and there were plenty of food options within easy walking distance, which was really convenient. We were expecting a beach view, but our apartment was at the front of the building and looked out towards the road instead. This wasn’t a problem for us, and the apartment itself was very bright and airy. It had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, table and chairs, bathroom, little laundry and comfortable bed. There isn’t a lounge area, but as we were only staying for a couple of nights, that was fine. We also really enjoyed having the balcony. The white curtains looked lovely and let in plenty of natural light during the day. The only downside was that they didn’t block out the streetlight at night, so the apartment was quite bright while sleeping. Some blockout curtains or blinds would make a big difference. The hosts were great and responded very quickly whenever we had a question. Overall, we found the apartment to be clean, comfortable, well located and good value for money, and we would happily stay again.

Located on Sunset Boulevard, the building has a secure access control with a password-protected door and elevator entrance. There's an apartment parking lot. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, a refrigerator, and a stove. Condiments are also provided. The apartment includes a bedroom, living room, bathroom, and storage room, all very roomy. Please bring your own toiletries and slippers. There is a communal laundry room. Check-in is self-service and you can receive emails.

This hotel is under new management so we couldn't see many reviews before booking but it was a great experience! the self check-in was a breeze (we received all the info in an email) and our room was nice and clean. The room is cozy but normal size for SF and if we needed a little more space we just went down to the lobby lounge area. There was wifi in the room and in the lobby area. The kitchen was super convenient to make a quick breakfast. We didn't use the washer/dryers but if we stayed longer we probably would have. We could walk to Union Square and there is also a Trader Joe's a couple blocks away. It was a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights!

We had a wonderful stay at Mint House. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to other travellers.

1. The bed is not comfy. 2. Very basic furniture and utensils. 3. Passed whole week without TV as no one gave us TV remote. The stove was given connection after repeated email next day.  4. Check in and checkout was smooth. Owner was very prompt in replying email from remote location. 5. The location was very convenient and beside big grocery shop.

I had to cancel and the hotel did not accept any attempt to negotiate a cancellation fee. I was fully charged even though I did notify this with anticipation. On the other hand, they can and will cancel your reservation without even notifying you in advance. I know this because they did that to me before. Sadly, my experience was not positive.

Good, safe location. Room and bathroom were fine, although an entire dresser was missing from the room and everything was situated on top of the fridge. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and allowed me to leave my bag prior to checking in. The guy at the night desk didn't bother to say hi back though.

Fantastic stay! The location was superb, right on the edge of the beach with absolutely stunning sunset views. The facilities were great and very clean. Having a bath was a real bonus, as we’d only had showers in all the other accommodation on our trip so far. Would definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed this second stay with Holliwood Homes even more, we were given a very spacious flat for a similar price than the first smaller flat. It was exceptionally clean and well presented, with all the accessories we needed. Thank you for providing such good value for money!

The room was clean and cosy. High ceilings, large kitchen with all you need, comfortable bed and 2 fireplaces. Also location is great! 5 mins from Snow Summit ski resort and 5 mins from lake.
