St. Nicholas Church

Just outside Nin

Driving back from Nin it’s hard not to notice the church so we pulled over . There is an information board giving the name so that was enough for us to google and get the fascinating history

The church is quite old and appears to be made from rubbles left by the Roman empire. It is lovely to see if you are into the early Middle Age Era.

Brief stop to look

The church is on the main road just outside Nin. There is a large lay-by/parking off the road and the church is only about 50 metres from the road. The church dates from 11/12 century but you can't go...

Красиво, но издалека. У данного памятника старины даже парковка есть своя(бесплатная). Зайти внутрь нельзя, она закрыта. Можно пофоткаться на ее фоне и все:)
