Xi'ning People's Park

it’s a nice oasis of nature in a dry dusty city. in early April the city is not yet so beautiful but in People’s Park you can relax a little. don’t expect too much from it, such parks you can find in every city but in Xining it’s still nice to blend into local people. if you have time take the Giant Wheel, it’s quite new and gives a great overview over the city.

到西宁出差，顺便到西宁人民公园一游，该公园是西宁市最大的公共免费公园，是国家AAA级旅游景区，风景、环境确实不错。西宁人民公园是一个集园林、文化、休闲娱乐于一体的综合性公园。去时正赶上郁金香盛开，非常漂亮。由于时间短，只看了一小部分，下次有机会到西宁，一定再来转转。

这里原来是上海的跑马厅，后来改建成公园，位于上海南京路步行街西侧。值得一提的是，这里是上海有名的相亲角，全都是大爷大妈替子女相亲。

作为一个西宁人对人民公园有着特殊的情感，可以说人民公园从58年始建到投入使用是陪着西宁几代人的见证，希望人民公园建设越来越好
