A very large memorial in honour of the dead from the world wars. About 5 minutes walk from Place Wilson but worth the walk. Some ornate sculptures and inscriptions on the arch

From the distance
You can see this monument from the distance because it's in the middle of the avenue. You can avoid crossing the street unless you want to read the inscriptions.
